Yeah, I mean, the living conditions are often awful. Women - I don't know about men, sorry - will have to walk miles and miles in the desert and scorching heat just to collect some jars of water. Pretty sure this doesn't go on the men's part, I'm assuming the man either tends fields (although, from what I've read, it's usually the women who do this), or go to school/work (a privilege). Women often have to get circumcised and cut in those countries too, but the men don't. Quite traumatic for litt…

I searched "women india" and the first couple results are about the rape of a woman. Sure, it doesn't represent all situations, but if someone is scared of the police in their own country, sure there's something a little bit wrong there, yeah?

But it's not. Tons of Africa, tons of Asia, Middle East, still isn't fair towards women. See my Indian examples, as you brought that up earlier.

The police in India are shit most of the time, very corrupt. My friend can hear her neighbor being abused but she doesn't dare call the police simply because they are so unreliable. It takes news to be international for any kind of change to happen there.

Okay, in your example - India - I've read countless examples of women being raped there, women being touched inappropriately, women being underestimated because of gender, women being overlooked in issues. My best friend is from India, and her parents have no problem with her brother doing a ton of drugs and going out and so on, and they paid for his college tuition despite not having the money to pay for my friend's. My friend, a women, has to get amazing marks and is not allowed to see friends…

Not really? I regoogled the definitions to make sure I wasn't wrong and I'm not. Feminism is egalitarianism + advocacy for women's rights if they do not have rights. Nowadays, legally in many countries women have the same rights but many places are still behind on this, which is why we still need feminism for the advocacy of women's rights in those areas. Once women the world over have the same rights both legally and socially as men, that's when egalitarianism comes into play. (Or preferably ea…

I mean, it's the same thing really. But this time rather than the women fighting for rights, it's just in a world where women already have their rights.

Wait what's the problem with feminism?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
