Nothing too terrible, but it was still abuse, and I've since learned certain triggers cause me to revert to the irrational thinking that I formed to cope with the thoughts and emotions after the abuse. NLP has helped me realize when I'm thinking irrationally and it has helped me correct it. The correcting it part is pretty easy, it's the catching yourself in the act of thinking irrationally, that's key.
