Men will come after very attractive women who act "strong and powerful" because their hotness means they'll put up with her attitude (to some extent.) The mistake Megan Fox and her ilk are making is that men are attracted to these women IN SPITE of their attitude, not BECAUSE of it. What you end up with are lower SMV girls mimicking the negative mannerisms of high SMV girls in an effort to be more attractive. Yeah, I thought about mentioning those two - but both comics started in the late nineties, and though they're still very popular today, they are ultimately still much the same as stuff that was coming out in the nineties, and new stuff coming out tends to be a lot different.
