Ah, i didn't know what bad body genetics meant, if you would've said it's harder for us to put on muscle and lose fat then fuck yeah i would have agreed. My bad.

I would like to know how you got the Indian and genetics correlation from? Kind of offensive. Obviously we aren't that "tall" per se but Indians are also strong. There is so much diversity.

First of all, stop putting yourself down! If you say you're a loser, then you'll enforce that mentality upon yourself. Trust me, been there, done that. If you're skinny, i would suggest you to get on a diet, eat a lot, workout, grow your muscles, you'll see newbie gains in no time. You already have an internship, so you must be earning something, right? That's a very valuable thing, put your experience on a resume and build a good resume, clean, concise and to the point. Mention anything good yo…

Fortunately my workplace belives in a casual work culture and there's not much pressure within, except from our clients so yeah, the hectic part is dealing with clients' unrealistic expectations.

Yes, I couldn't do one even with an elastic band when i started, now after 5-6 months or so I am able to do 5, without the help of a band...

Well, in this context i meant would i be wasting money doing 3 times a week workout or is it better just to be focussed on my career all the time, well now i have my answer, it's more than 3 days and i shall make sure i hit the gym most of the days. Good night guys .

I walk 7000 steps on an average daily on my commute to work and back. Apart from that, 3-4 times a week to the gym, it's not like I'm slacking off when I'm not going to the gym either, I'm learning new things, doing courses, new programming language projects and reading about history and geopolitics (not all at once obviously, but one at a time).

True, I'm not looking for permissions though. And i do want to have them sick gains, that's what eating me up from inside, during the lockdown, working from home, I could maintain a proper workout routine, did see them newbie gains and was on track but turns out after coming to Mumbai, for work, I can't consistently go to gym, yeah, it's my fault, I got to prioritise you're right, I'll try waking up early from tomorrow and give it a shot, but the day is quite hectic, i even have to cook lunch fo…

(I bet you can't) Thanks for the motivation bro lol...btw great advice, I'll look to buy dumbbells for starters. I already do push ups at home, can't do pull-ups, but yeah, you're right it's tough to consistently work out even at home...

So you mean to say that compound lifting will give a better rate of return on gains compared to PPL lifts?

Alright, thanks for the recommendation, haven't been really on TRP for a while...will read a couple of posts by Vaz. Cheers!

Indeed, I do a PPL split during the 3 times a week that I go. Thanks for your comment, really fills me with confidence!

The best thing to do is to go in with a stoic mentality and if you lift then look at her just as a tiny piece of flesh, she can't kick your ass at least...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
