Because meeting strangers is totally a sign of unfaithfulness, right? Hell, if you read the initial post, you'll see that OP even approached her, not the other way around. Not exactly slut behavior, am I right? With that out of the way, let's look at more of what you said. how would you feel if a gf of yours said that to a guy she just met. I'd feel just fine, as she's making a point of not giving out her number to a guy who probably wants to get in her pants. What she said amounts to "Yes, I fi…

If my SO were to cheat, I wouldn't accept alcohol as a valid excuse. How this is relevant, I don't know, as the blame of the female was never in question. If, however, you're using this analogy to present yourself as the girlfriend and the woman as the alcohol that "leads to" infidelity (as if it was somehow entirely responsible, which it isn't, at all), I should point out that my response is that the one drinking, or in reality the single man pursuing a non-single woman who happens to be willin…

You're treating this as if her deciding to cheat with a guy immediately means the guy has no choice in the matter. We're thinking beings as well, capable of our own actions. You can turn down sex on moral grounds, you know. This thing between my legs means I want to fuck people, it doesn't mean I have to if the opportunity presents itself. You're right in that she's a perpetrator, but you're wrong in implying she's the only one. You tried this faulty logic in your other post, too. Just because o…

I have, in other posts in this thread. In this particular instance, I kept my post short and to the point. You enable cheating and clearly don't respect the sanctity of relationships. You said "call me an asshole but...", and I did. Your attempts at justification are just that, as A.) you're putting some of the blame on the guy If she's willing to stray from her S/O that's on her/him. and B.), you're trying to somehow absolve yourself of guilt by pointing at other guilty parties. Don't get me wr…

She was pretty clear in her statement that she's not giving him her number, and she said why. To attempt to get it after that point is not only rude, it demonstrates an unwillingness to actually respect the wishes of the person you're pursuing. Here's the thing: If no sometimes means yes, and no sometimes means no, and yes ALSO means yes, you don't look at a no and wonder if it's actually a yes, you go for those who SAY yes. Less trouble overall, and you don't risk coming off as a pushy asshole.…

You're leaving out the possibility that she actually meant what she said, and happens to be part of a faithful relationship. Crazy, right?

How so?

There's also the possibility that it wasn't a shit test, and she genuinely has no intention of giving her number to a guy who seems to want something when she has a boyfriend. Assumptions. Assumptions everywhere.

Alright, you're an asshole.

The idea is you don't fuck someone who happens to be in a relationship, and being "friendzoned" leads to you having an easy in with girls they happen to be friends with.

Um, you're confusing "you" and "we". Also, sex can happen before a relationship, during one, after one, despite one, etc. If she has a boyfriend and you got sex out of it, you're an asshole. Not a good outcome. Granted, she's not exactly an awesome person either, but you're not free of blame, and to think or act otherwise is self-deception of the worst kind. Seriously, stop being yourself. You're making our gender look like a bunch of dicks.

That and the whole "Oh, she said she doesn't want A? Clearly she wants A no matter what she says, and all I have to do is try harder. Oh, it's not working? Let me once again try to pressure or manipulate her into doing what I want her to do. It didn't work? Fuck her, she's a bitch." Half of this subreddit is bullshit like that spouted off by people who objectify women and don't seem to understand that SOMETIMES NO MEANS NO, BUDDY. The other half is really useful stuff involving gaining confidenc…

"I would give you my number, but I'm dating someone. If I were single, though, you'd have it. But I'm not, so you don't. Sorry." "CLEARLY she actually wants to give me her number! I should try to get it even though she's said she's not going to give it to me BECAUSE SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND!" Good god, man. She's taken. It isn't fucking rocket science. Does she actually, deep down, want to give out her number to someone who, let's face it, is looking to form a romantic connection? If she wanted him t…

That, and the change creeps up on you gradually. By the time you've noticed a slight shift, you might need a new retainer. Explaining that is never fun.

Well, think of how straight your teeth will be when you get them off. It's like an investment of sorts. Sure, your mouth may look a little goofy right now, but that's short term. Long term, it's going to wind up looking better than it did before you got them. Also, when your braces are taken off and they tell you to wear a retainer for a bit, wear the fucking retainer. Trust me. Wear it as long as they tell you to. You may want that free feeling of not having anything unnatural in your mouth aft…

It is. The trigger, however, in on your side. Sometimes it's as much about avoiding potential triggers as it is about hitting them. On the other hand, the whole schtick is about accepting risk because of possible reward and making the leap anyway.

Oooh. Overall good advice, but kind of risky if you try this on any psychologist worth their salt. Some will play along, but I know a few that'll tear into you. Always be wary of trying to get in the head of someone trained to get into other people's heads. In situations like that, it's sometimes better to come off as genuine and a little awkward. Maybe toss in a joke.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
