I guess, but I just take it as a chance to talk about how badass I am. But hey, more power to you. But I did word it wrong, I'll give you that.

I have amazing friends and family Do you see a lot of them in LTR's? That's what made me think I wanted one, because I thought it was expected of me to be on their level.

Sort of depends on the source I suppose. But I think the ol' "Thanks, I've worked really hard at..." whatever it is sort of fits nicely. It's not too weak because you're adding how much shit you went through to get there.

I was very much like you until I was 21. I was chunky, wore pretty nasty glasses, didn't take too much time to take care of myself, all resulted in little to no confidence in pretty much anything in my life. Not sure what changed, but one day I decided enough was enough. Started hitting the gym and got pretty ripped by 22. Got contacts. I know those two things seem pretty superficial but it was enough that it gave me just enough to start putting myself out there. I actually ended up with a girl …

Then I learned that relaxation is every bit as important as progression. ♂ Two responses I've seen from you in two threads that are the definition of hitting the nail on the head. This is exactly what I have learned as well. The more I used to think about what I needed to do while relaxing, the longer it took to get around to OR actually doing it when I got to it. Once I learned to enjoy my downtime, my uptime was that much more productive and sometimes even enjoyable.

To an extent but it's like this for me. I can change my body at the gym. I can only change my looks at the plastic surgeon which is why I separate the two. That's very general as far as looks go - I could get a haircut and braces to straighten my teeth would be two examples - but that only goes so far. My face, more or less, is what I'm stuck with for good or bad. If she has an average (for me) face and is...let's say pudgy, I'm not as attracted to someone who as a below average face but can do …

I was that guy. Ended up getting married and having kids before I realized that I wasn't meant for a LTR at all. Yes, I fooled myself in to thinking I was supposed to be in one...married, kids, white picket fence, all that bullshit. Thankfully...VERY thankfully...my two boys mother and I were very good friends first and both of us realized that LTR wasn't for EITHER of us. I moved out but here's the kicker - we're still married for the tax benefits and because of how we want to raise the kids. N…

Gym bunnies are hot. And I hope this doesn't sound like I'm a prick...but I think a great body more than makes up for average or below average looks. I'll take great body with average looks over great looks with an average body any day of the week.

Deadlifts = amazing ass. Squats too, IIRC...? Either way, amazing ass is always a plus and it can be maintained well in to older years when gravity starts to drag other body parts southbound and down.

Nope. IMO, music and mood is much more important than TV. You already have both so return that sucker. Especially considering: The purchase will set me back That should be the deciding factor. If you can't afford it, don't buy it. If you can afford it THEN start reviewing reasons for buying vs. not buying.

You'll have to explain to me why the 'anti-feminism' and the 'All Lives Matter' crowd overlaps so heavily with Donald Trump's support base on the internet. Here's the explanation. on the internet.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
