We just had a guy come by my door not 10 minutes ago from Teen Challenge. He asked for a donation, stating he was a heroin addict and had been for 5 years but had just celebrated being clean for a year thanks to this place. He certainly brought up the Christian part. My ma gave him 10 bucks. Wish I had seen this earlier

Thanks. I'm a fighter myself, I like a good brawl. But not a one sided blood bath.

UPDATE: So I called the hospital he was sent to. I was told he was discharged later that day. So I'm guessing he's fine.

I have made severe mistakes before. I was lucky enough to learn from them. I try not to repeat mistakes

I'm an eagle scout. I had signed up to be in the army. I'm a fraternity man. It's what I do.

My faith in the goodness of man has been shaken a little. But I like to think those that helped him showed people can be good

I agree with you. I will go help the under dog. But if the weaker guy/girl is the attacker or initiates it, I probably won't help. I have 2 older brothers and I learned at a young age, if you're gonna fight someone bigger than you you need to be prepared for those consequences

a few black eyes, a broken nose and maybe a bloody lip in my humble and a little blue collar opinion would have been justified. If I hit someone I'm expecting some consequences. But not potentially deadly attacks

That's what I was thinking. It just seems like everyone wanted an excuse.

It took 5 minutes for the cops to show up. It felt like 30 honestly.

The video doesn't show anything of the perps. I gave a pretty damn good description however so hopefully it works.

Yea, I've done really idiotic things while drunk so it's hard for me to judge. But I've never wanted to kill someone like that

I keep trying to look at the link that shows the statistics on the 3x but it won't work. I can only offer my personal experiences as an incredibly proud fraternity man, but to think that fraternities rape more than non fraternity men is wrong. Starting with our selection process, anyone who is deemed "creepy" or appears to be making a lot of inappropriate and uncomfortable advances on our females guests get the boot instantly. Next is that from what I have seen, damn near 99% of the guys who rus…

Legitimate question: where can I buy this stuff? I have about 8 girls that I am practically (and actually in 1 case) a big brother towards and I want them safe. This will keep them safer and give me peace of mind

Can you share some details on that? Cause if I was skating at a skate park and I was asked to leave I'd probably tell them to go have coitus with themselves

This is how I lost my v card. I didn't want to, she did. I felt pressured into it. I didn't call the cops the next day. I didn't spread rumors. I just went on with my life. Turns out 2 weeks later she got embarrassed because everyone was happy for me so she almost called one on me. Fun times...

As a guy who signed his contract not to long ago (army ocs) thanls for the heads up. This definitely scared me a bit, but in a good way. I kinda planned on not having a relationship for my active time, now I think I'll stick with it

Young guy myself, can only wish you the best mate. Please follow up though, I'd really like to hear how this goes. I'm of Irish descent myself (American) so I'm always glad to hear we're spreading more joy across the world. Good luck man.

I have an idea. How about Uplift wednesdays? Corny as it sounds, on wednesday (hump day) we post only funny, uplifting, positive stories or posts. Something to help equal it all out

Oh I'm sorry i'm leaving grad school to join the army to serve our country. I'm sorry I was born white. I'm sorry I wasn't bullied enough in school, being over weight and very shy wasn't bad enough apparently. I'm sorry I was born a man too, I should have known better. I visit Cal a lot, and I have to say most students actually aren't like that. But there's always some

anyone else say "nice" at the guy's statement about the motorcycle? I feel really sorry for the guy. I lost my grandmother and I'm super close with my Dad so I know that'll hurt like bloody hell the day (hopefully far from now) it comes. Hope he's doing better

damn, this gets me pissed off too. I don't have my own kids but i have 45 wrestlers I coach. When that shit happened I wanted nothing more than to drive to my old high school and give each of them a hug and tell them they'd be safe. F;ing bull

I found this to be pretty on the level, till the end. I am one of those nice guys, well was. Now I'm a guy. But I still think that this was a bit far. I'm from the Bay Area, born and raised so I will be the first to admit, my views are subject to some extremes. I just think saying most women are like this are the useless employees are mostly women is wrong. I did thoroughly enjoy her description of what women do to men though. Seen it first hand.

I've been told I should be castrated because I believe that when a person is in a relationship, they owe the other person the time of day to hear what their partner's opinions and feelings are.

Honestly I like it here. And it can't be serious all the time, we're only human
