If you're average on the attraction scale you just need to be genuinely nice, have personality, and be able to read someone's interest and slowly build the flirtation with confidence. If you're hot you get away with more but it doesn't make you necessarily better at social situations and flirting. Working a bit harder, in my opinion, builds better character.
