So you can also not use a gym with women's only hours/sections.

Yep, I'm in complete agreement with everything you're saying. It's not right if women take issue with that, but it goes both ways. I just wish everyone was polite to each other...

I know we're 'against' safe spaces right now, but is it really such a bad thing to have some give so that another person is comfortable? I am unfortunately full figured and have gotten unwanted attention since I was 12. I never learned how to swim because I would always get hounded by boys and men when I went to the pool (in full disclosure, I also can't swim because my brother threw me into the deep end when I was 5 and I panicked, but I digress). I like women's only hours so I don't have to wo…

A lot Jewish and Muslim women need women's hours because of their religion. This is one thing I actively search for when I look…

But what if you're a childfree person? You don't have a kid, don't want a kid, and will never have a kid. You can't use the childcare center, but you're still paying for it.

You'd be surprised. When I first started using my school's gym, I had a few dudebros come over to help with my 'form.' I never wore tight clothes and I had my headphones in; I didn't want to be approached. I'm doing some lunges when a guy comes up behind me, puts his hands on my hips, and tells me I need to go deeper. Is that something guys do with each other? I've seen people helping each other out but I didn't know this person, he just touched me without asking. I just went "Dude, not cool" an…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
