I can tell you aren't going to agree since you think there is some honest distinction between technically forced and literally forced. Yes, we are forced to provide for ourselves, or you starve. Is that really a choice to you? I think you are dishonest if you actually pretend that is a choice. Your example isn't valid I'm afraid. Yeah people use that argument a lot and I simply don't buy it. If you think 'in essence forcing' is ethically or morally any better than actually forcing then I simply have to disagree with your ethics. Mensrights isn't a place where we have to agree on every aspect of every single topic that involves mens rights. Again, there is no choice worth making other than the way we have it now. Life ain't fair, equality is a myth, it does not exist.

If you have the solution then lets hear it. If there is no solution worth using then it doesn't make it 'ok' to force men into parenthood, but it's the best solution we have.

Do you not see that a man deciding to opt out entirely is akin in many circumstances to forcing a woman to adopt out or abort or have a child they can't provide for? In essence forcing a woman to do something is simply taking the problem that we all admit exists, and swinging the so called solution far too far around so it's now a problem entirely for women and not men at all.

I've just explained how that is not a solution. You are in essence forcing abortions in that case if the woman cannot financially deal with it. You've absolved man of all responsibility entirely, which is exactly the problem you don't like about women, you've taken it too far.

Everyone can see the problem with giving women basic carte blanche on the entire decision process. However, if no solution actually exists, then there isn't much reason to constantly bring up the problem, because fundamentally no solution will exist. So... What solution could there ever be to this? A woman gets pregnant and the man doesn't want it. A) He can leave and not have to pay anything for the kid. B) She has to have an abortion to preserve her livelihood, children ruin lives financially …
