I've always had a slow metabolism. I don't have any underlying health conditions but my calorie limits to lose or maintain my weight and lower than average. It's your life. Don't try to make others happy at the expense of your own happiness. If mom is getting angry or arguing then it's ok the end the conversation. Unless she is supporting you in some way, and it doesn't sound like she is, she doesn't get a say. Deal breakers- Children with more than one woman or more than one ex-wife. Having children without an official custody and support order. Any history of addiction or someone who regularly got drunk. Definitely the house! A house will hopefully be something that increases in monetary value. A wedding wont. We had a smaller wedding of about 45 guests for under 5K.
