Because when you work 80 hour weeks you don't have time for a social life.

Its probably more like 80% than 99%, but in general men focus too much on non-looks related things when it comes to trying to improve their dating success. As long as you are not a total dork who wears camo shorts and talks about conspiracy theories to people you just met, the best return on value investment you can make is improving your physical appearance.

If you are good-looking and have an active social life you will get women. Not much more to it than that.

I'm pretty beta if you define it by my behaviour. I'm shy, quiet, get lost in group situations and never flirt. However I'm good-looking, was a college athlete, like partying, so I have a smokeshow girlfriend and lots of girls who try to date me. Meanwhile I have friends with no inhibitions who can start a conversation with any stranger, & command a room making everyone belly laugh, meanwhile they haven't had sex in years. Who would you consider the beta in this scenario.

I'm socially capable but shy, anxious, defer to others too much, and extremely unflirty. I still do very well with attractive women and have had quite a few successful short & long term relationships. A lot of my friends are the same way. You guys overrate behaviour a lot on this subreddit.

finasteride 3x a week when I first noticed recession
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 05:30 PM

post on /r/tressless/ if you are really unsure but to me it seems like obvious receding, sorry. Fin I had some side effects for the first couple of weeks that went away after. It could potentially regrow some hairline but the main thing is the hair you already have will be a lot healthier and fuller.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 05:47 PM

From the age gap relationships I know, both sides are low value relative to their peers.

Seriously, realizing that women put looks #1, 2, and 3 when it comes to attraction was an absolute game changer in how I approached dating. When I decided to focus 100% on improving my looks my success skyrocketed. Other improvements that make a big difference: getting some muscle, low bodyfat, clear skin, keeping hair while every other guy starts to lose it, growing good facial hair, posture, & being religious about sunscreen. All of these things you can change and can be a 4-5 point swing toge…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 05:03 PM

I take both finasterade and minoxidil and would highly recommend (as long as you do your bloodwork and are safe about it). Don't want to be mean, but your hairline is significantly more receded than mine was when I decided to start taking fin. It's now or never because you are close to the point of no return.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/21 04:56 PM

His hair is fairly receded, I don't know if long hair would work.

Young men have more free time than young women. Older women have more free time than older men.

At the same time, myself and my friends were able to find out what women go for at like...15? Literally just go interact with girls and you see that they go for guys with 1. good-looking faces 2. height. Everything else is mostly irrelevant until you are thinking of marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/21 09:26 AM

Not saying it doesn't happen, but going bald usually cuts 3 points off your attractiveness right away
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/21 09:17 AM
2

I'm disciplined with my training, played sports at a high level competitively, and look better with my shirt off than 95% of guys. Which is how I know you are full of shit and are overrating your own physique massively.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/21 09:14 AM

Lol most pro athlete bodies don't even look like that. I go to the gym 5 times a week and follow a top diet and very few people at my gym look anything like that. That guy has elite genetics + good training + probably steroids. I would bet 1000$ you look nothing close to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 08:55 PM

Literally no attractive woman I know will consider dating a fat or bald guy, I don't think its that out of the ordinary.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 06:48 PM

In my line of work I work with many pro athletes and even then the uglier guys are relatively overlooked.

Unironically men care a lot more about personality than women
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 04:56 PM

But why do you need to spend so much time in the gym? If you are natty that is well past the point of diminishing marginal returns for gains and physical health. It would be way better for you to spend that second hour doing something creative, socializing, or at least going for a walk in the park in nature.

There is like one girl with a sense of humour for every ten guys though. Most don't care
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 04:30 PM
2

Some of the most popular dudes I know are ugly and guess what, they still have ugly girlfriends. Girls will just take the 3rd most popular guy who is also good-looking (speaking from experience, I've been that dude).
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 04:23 PM
2

One gender dating down as a whole is mathematically impossible so I really never understood the "I see so many ugly dudes dating hot girls" thing on reddit.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 04:21 PM
19

For the majority of my girl friends who I have had this conversation with or have known a while, it was 5-12 semicasual relationships at the end of high school and uni before meeting their eventual partner. # was mostly a function of time before they found someone. There have been a few savages who will sleep with 20 guys in one year but they are rare, at least in my circles.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/21 04:09 PM
1

Your points #2 and #3 are fairly easy to get to a good level for most people. All my guy friends are groomed and charismatic enough where going to the next level would require a ton of effort for little return. Also if men are able to raise their SMV and date above their "looks level", then the opposite would also have to be true. If a guy who is a 5 in looks is dating an 8 women due to his presence, then there is a 5 girl out there without a partner. Who is she dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/21 09:56 AM

I believe in the Blackpill and am far from an incel. In fact most of the guys I know who are top % sexually successful are quite blackpilled.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/21 09:47 AM

Men are judged on more than just looks for relationships, but that doesn't mean that women are less shallow. They are just more picky than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/21 09:43 AM
8

Why do all the good looking women I know have good looking partners then?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/21 09:34 AM
2

No they don't. Men also spend a lot more time on their looks now then they used to. Look at the rampant steroid abuse, gym culture, and exploding men's fashion industry
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 01:21 PM
8

So its just a coincidence that physically attractive women almost exclusively date physically attractive men?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 03:09 PM

Constantly surrounds themselves with terrible people. It's so bad that they don't believe sane pleasant people of the opposite gender exist. Everyone I hang out with has good personalities so looks are the only differentiating factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 03:08 PM
6

Its overrated if anything. I've seen some horribly awkward guys do extremely well with women. Any good looking person gets a massive boost to charisma and sexuality naturally
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 02:59 PM

I've done this with couples I'm friends with on facebook and 90%-95% were closely looksmatched depending on your standards with the rest evenly split on which gender was better looking. Interestingly the average with good-looking were almost all average men with attractive women and the average with ugly were almost all average men with ugly women.

Same thing with manchildren. Just words to shame lifestyles that don't fit neatly into the machine of modern capitalism.

I'm a guy and I agree with her, I rarely if ever see above average women dating significantly older men (5+ years). Prime is two years older and anything above that it starts being a negative.

Every small dick comment I have ever heard in my life has come from a women. I look forward to the day we start treating male penis shaming, height shaming, and virgin shaming with the same disgust we treat women focused insults, it will mean we have turned a corner culturally.

I am 28 and easily more than half my guy friends have started receding. Hard to recognize the early stages of hair loss unless you have been through it though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 07:35 PM

Idk I've known several guys who have hit on every friend in every friend group they have had and it hasn't affected them too badly. If you are ugly yeah that wont be tolerated but average you are overestimating the risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 07:32 PM
7

Im of the mindset if she immediately doesn't want to have sex with you then theres not much you can do to make her want too. I'll never understand why guys try and pursue girls who aren't clearly interested. The best case scenario is dating a women who is barely attracted to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 07:25 PM

This is a good example of why you don't take people's attractiveness ratings at face value without video.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 03:46 PM

I make good money on my investments, although fairly liquid at the moment due to how deep we are in a speculative bubble in many asset classes. I'm just saying how its dumb that I can make money just by having money already.

I have. Dating top tier attractiveness women is like having another job. For me as a good looking but not super attractive guy they just have too much leverage at the end of the day. I've been there and it is not worth giving up so much control of my life to me. I would rather date a less physically attractive women who is more pleasant to be around so I have time to work on my career, business, other relationships, and kids eventually. I have friends who date up and their wives control every as…

I wouldn't date anyone too far on either spectrum socially (hating all men or hating all gays, both not my cup of tea), but if you are conservative fiscally then we are probably going to have some fundamentally different ideas of how the world functions. Fine for friendships, not as fun for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 09:04 AM

You are being radicalized and brainwashed by hate groups. If you replaced men with black people in your op, think about how racist and ridiculous you would sound. But because groups like FDS veil their rhetoric in the language of victimhood, they are able to slide into vulnerable people's psyche. Hate groups have been around for all of humanity, you are not the first to fall for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 08:53 AM

I agree with you for the most part but I see a lot more men haters than women haters on here typically. If the women in my life had half the evil in their hearts as the women on this sub it would be a sad day.

I don't understand how you can be a leftist while being against inc3ls. We know that telling poor people to "pull themselves up by their bootstraps" doesn't work and is retarded, why would it work for virgin men and women?

So you have never seen a hot woman with an average looking guy? A few times but pretty rarely. And I would say all those relationships suffer from a lack of attraction. I agree with your other points, probably I just phrased it poorly at the beginning.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 11:21 AM

Speaking for all of the average and ugly looking men I know, pretty much no "hot" women were ever interested in them. Average and ugly women found them attractive though, not sure if that is what you are referring to.

I agree with you, but there is a huge caveat to this. Some hot guys will be ugly to some women, but it doesnt work the other way around. Ugly guys wont be randomly hot to some women.

Money doesnt improve attraction, just the chances of dating a gold digger. Status yes, a high degree of status will improve attraction. Game matters just as much for women if not more than men.

You're doing the exact same thing if you think that looks are only 25% for women. Its probably about 75% for both genders and TONS of guys get by on looks alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/21 10:31 PM

You just think that because you're a girl though. I look around and see most women dating the best looking and tallest guy they can find regardless of whether they are an asshole or not.

Its 90% due to his incredibly high social status. Also his face isn't even that unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/21 12:50 PM
1

Yeah if he was "very handsome" then he wouldn't be involuntarily single. I'm not very handsome, just regular good-looking, high inhibition with no flirting ability at all, and casual sex is pretty easy and finding a gf is trivial.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/21 12:46 PM
5

Agreed, men care about careers and rarely interclass date, but I wouldn't say they are attracted to a career. Neither are women, but the nuance is that women can be attracted to the social status that certain career paths give you. Pro athlete, DJ, actor, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/21 12:34 PM
3

What are you talking about? Tons of smart, ambitious, respectful guys are single and complain about this exact thing. Try dating as a man, you will see that personality alone doesn't get you very far.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 05:50 PM
4

I actually fully agree with you. The way we think about class is kind of silly but if you come from money and have a degree from a prestigious school you will be considered part of the PMC even with a lower paying job. Although anecdotally the finance guys I know do tend to date finance girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 09:36 AM
6

Yup and almost all the guys I know work out hard, wear tailored clothes, and have an expensive skincare routine. Just tend to see a lot more "matches" than what is espoused on this forum.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 10:35 PM

Volleyball? There is no shortage of 6'4 guys and 6'0 girls in any competitive volleyball related groups I have been in.

he’s always been really successful with women. Ah the classic reddit short ugly guy that is super successful with women. Still waiting for the day I encounter one of these leprechauns in real life. Been waiting 28 years!

I'm an UMC borderline UC professional, and so are 95% of people I make daily contact with. I find UMC women to be MUCH more strict on looks for their partners than what people on this forum seem to experience. Like I literally only know two couples where the women is dating down looks wise. I kind of suspect that might be a class thing. Anybody have similar experiences or a reason they might think this is the case?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 10:08 PM
12

Agreed. I am a UMC professional as are almost all peers and nooo one is dating working class women, not even casually.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 10:04 PM

People who think 6'6 is "too tall" don't hang out with tall people.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 08:58 PM
3

The brogrammer is a trope for a reason. Lots of former athletes and frat guys going into the tech because of the insane money.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 08:57 PM

I have dated girls who are 6'1 and 6'0, both very attractive and I am 5'11. No issues at all dating taller girls and I play volleyball so I've met lots of girls who are 6'2 or 6'3 who I would go out with if I wasn't taken. I would rather date a 6 foot girl than a 5 foot girl tbh. Would hate for my kids to be short.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 06:38 PM
3

Yeah the lifetime average is like 5. Tons of guys only have sex with their college girlfriend and the girl they marry.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 04:08 PM
8

Business idea: an app that matches women who say "the bar is on the floor" and "my only standard is that he treats me well" with the dozens of guys I know who are single, caring, respectful, and have high-earning stable jobs who get almost no romantic attention. Anyone else in?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 02:20 PM
2

I had the same number at 22 but that is statistically false. Its still more than most guys will have in their lifetime.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 01:57 PM
2

For sure, a lot of women's sexual exposure, especially in teens & early 20s, will be with guys having FAR more sex than the average dude. So I can see how it throws off their perception.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 01:56 PM

how hard it is to find a quality guy to keep dating It is just as hard for men to find a quality women though. And we don't have nearly as many options to pick from.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 01:52 PM
1

Why not? If you have high standards and are ugly, good looking women won't sleep with you just because of game.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 01:51 PM
2

Yeah wages haven't been tied to physical production in like...200 years
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 01:49 PM
2

Naw I've seen some incels with pretty strong game. The issue is mostly the standards thing like the OP said. Like I know dudes who are fucking funny and charismatic but are like a 3 looks-wise but think they deserve a 6 because of their confidence. So then they don't get laid and are incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 12:35 PM
1

Confident charismatic guy who is better looking that you = probably just wants sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 02:21 PM

It is way worse than anything in the inc3l subreddit. Its very telling that FDS is allowed but blackpill isn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/21 09:25 PM
2

"good character, responsible adult, treats his partner like a queen" These guys are basically in unlimited supply though and a lot of them do terribly in dating. Its not like you need a special strategy to seek them out.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/21 09:22 PM
1

neuchatel?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/21 08:04 PM

Looks. And I am saying that as someone who dating is easy for. I'm grateful dating is easy for me while at the same time sympathetic to those who aren't as fortunate as I am.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 09:50 PM
1

You are exactly on the mark. 95% of the problems FDS complains about are from going for the most attractive guy possible that gives them any attention without a regard for other factors.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 09:48 PM

The vast majority of men in their 30s don't have enough status or money to make a difference and lifting is a small part of how good you look that you max out on in 2 years unless you take gear anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 02:41 PM
3

Fair enough can't argue with that. A 27 year old 7 will still take the 29 year old 7 over a 39 year old 9 though so I think the issue is more on the reverse.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 12:27 PM

Based on my peer group and my experience in a couple dozen social groups. And if I remember correctly the number of non-religious women dating men +5 years their senior is less than 10%
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 12:03 PM

But top 20% young girls are going to take top 20% guys their own age.

3

90% of the time looksmaxing provides the best ROI
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 11:49 AM

It would still be dating down in looks though. Like I said, attractive women in their 20s have more than enough options of guys their age and slightly older.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 09:35 AM
3

More fertile yes attractive no. You are going to have to scrape the bottom of the barrel.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 09:34 AM

I just want to know what world they're living in where misogyny is more tolerated than misandry. Imagine if #allwomenaretrash and #thebarisonthefloorforwomen were some of the most popular hashtags on tiktok.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 08:50 AM
12

I'm a dude and this is so true. I have literally never encountered a millennial couple with more than a 3 year age gap.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 08:36 AM
5

Most high value women strongly prefer to date around their own age though, and I say that as a guy. Not a single attractive, educated, high-earning woman I know is dating someone 3+ years her senior (late 20s). So educated, high income, attractive, tall guys in their mid 30s would be dating down in order to find someone younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 08:27 AM
1

Idk if it counts as makeup but a lot of my guy friends are starting to use serums and other skincare products beyond facewash and moisturizer.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 08:32 PM

It is giving me goosebumps just thinking about it. Nothing pisses me off more than the concept of "fuck you, I got mine".
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 08:31 PM
12

Yeah I think the messaging to guys is wrong for this. Getting married isn't an excuse to stop taking care of yourself and women care just as much as men about appearance when it comes to enthusiasm for sex. Don't be surprised if you shave your head and gain 25 pounds and sex is different.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 05:32 PM
1

Finasteride actually reduces the risk of prostate cancer. Also most men don't experience a reduction in libido but anecdotally I did have reduced "volume" but for me that is easily worth keeping my hair.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 08:57 AM
2

Skin tone affects men very significantly too
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 08:30 AM

Who is the bias towards? It is way more acceptable for women to have strict physical requirements than men. What do you think the ratio of girls with "must be taller than me" in their dating profiles to men? Probably 1000:1.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 08:03 AM
1

I am a guy with very staunch pro-worker economic beliefs but also invest heavily in the market (although not atm with the market being disgustingly overinflated). Commie guys understand how fucking broken it is that you can make money by deploying capital and not actually doing any productive work.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 07:52 AM

Dick works very well, thanks for asking. side effects are extremely rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/21 06:48 PM

It kind of makes sense though. For myself and a lot of guys any amount of fat is an automatic 0 in attractiveness. So if most people are fat than you are above average just by virtue of not being overweight.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/21 05:43 PM
2

I take finasteride
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/21 05:11 PM

Exactly. Behavior counts for nothing when you lose your hair and gain 30 pounds.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/21 03:03 PM

Definitely an effort thing. The three biggest aging detractors - skin, hair, and fat - can all be maintained.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/21 02:59 PM

I don't care about random evolutionary psychologists. The vast majority of research on this topic has women prioritizing physical attractiveness far above anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/21 07:51 PM
1

I think the descriptor "to a certain extent" threw me off. Even if physical attraction is a bigger part of the equation for men than women, it is still by far #1 for both genders. Plus, 70k is by no means poor. What would a woman choose if the hot guy was unemployed or made 20k a year and the ugly / average guy made 120k? I choose those numbers on purpose, not girl would ever have to choose between 120k/ugly vs 20k/hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/21 09:42 PM

Agree with the other posters, but here are some signs: People you are not dating call you cute, good looking, etc to your face At parties girls will start conversations with you Women your age are nice to you right away and remember your name Girls you are dating want to sleep with you frequently (assuming you are decent at sex) Girls will invite you to hang out with them or straight up ask you out
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/21 08:41 PM
3

You can be kind, respectful, gentile etc and as long as you are good looking then it wont hinder you at all. And it increases your odds of finding a woman with similar traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/21 08:16 PM
2

Women care less about a man’s physical appearance (to a certain extent — during ovulation, they prefer more masculine strong men) and focus more on status, success, resources, and basically what he can provide for her child. Not really when women are capable of providing for themselves. Hot guy making 70k a year is going to attract vastly more women than an average dude making 120k.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/21 08:11 PM
7

This is one of the most thoughtful takes I have seen on this. Still doesn't make sense how many women lie about it with the anonymity of reddit though.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 09:25 PM

Not my fault you hang out with dusty dudes
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 09:22 PM

I just want to change the messaging to young boys that girls don't like you because of your personality. Tons of abusive, manipulative, selfish guys have girlfriends and tons of caring, interesting, confident guys are single. Just stop gaslighting the kids who don't have the social skills to figure it out naturally.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 09:20 PM

Guys aren't upset that they have to lower their standards, they are mad that people consider male sexlessness as a moral failing rather than an unlucky roll of the genetic dice.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 07:05 PM

Ok, but its rare and random enough to not be relevant in this discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 07:02 PM

I think you just don't know any good looking men then. Women go insane for visually attractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 06:57 PM

Relationships need much more than looks. They need stability, same general world views and lifestyles, sexual attraction, and lots of other areas of compatibility, like making her laugh, being intelligent enough to lead convos on her level, etc. Like everyone is already telling you in this thread, all these things are equally as important to guys as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 05:55 PM

Their boyfriends are also fat and ugly
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 05:31 PM

This is exactly how is works for women too
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 05:23 PM

No you don't. That only happens in movies or if you include sugar babies
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 04:53 PM

Those two things enhance the attractiveness of a woman more than any personality traits for a guy. Funny girls SLAY
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 04:52 PM
5

Also 19/20 physically attractive women are dating physically attractive men. If men could improve their attractiveness through personality certainly it would be more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 04:21 PM

Its impossible on a society wide scale. For every average looking man dating a good looking woman, there statistically has to be a good looking man dating an average looking woman.

Male beauty is just as important, it just manifests in different ways
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 08:15 AM

There isn’t one. There is an anti-incel bias, thankfully, and Incels are male. Femcels and even FDSers don’t have the history of brigading, bad faith arguing, nihilistic whining, and everything else that makes them really fucking annoying Some of the FDS shit that gets posted here is straight up disgusting and way worse than any blackpill content I have ever seen.

Pretty much all my attractive girl friends though are dating conventionally attractive guys and all my less attractive friends are with less attractive guys. People of either gender dating noticeably uglier/better-looking people is like 1/20 max.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 03:52 PM

Yes but partner count is not normally distributed. But hey everyone who disagrees with you must be an idiot right?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 11:52 AM
6

Agree. Which is why I wish everyone could spend a month dating as an ugly person of the opposite gender so men can see: having sex with a someone using you as a fleshlight gets old real fast and so women can see: they aren't moral arbiters of dating and judge men almost entirely on things outside their control.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 11:09 AM
1

The real world? Do guys you know all get an equal amount of casual sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 10:52 AM

yeah I agree, dating as an ugly women fucking sucks too.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 10:49 AM

I did well with women before I started dating my amazing fiance and I am under 6' tall so I guess I did alright despite my apparently shitty personality! Not everyone who disagrees with you is a loser but that is easier for you to think. I was just saying that a 5'5" guy who does incredibly well with attractive women and has first pick of who to date is incredibly, incredibly rare and should not be used as the basis of any argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 08:34 AM
10

Men are easily more shallow than women. Women can absolutely be shallow. Men more so. More of them are and more of them care so much deeper about appearance. I wish every women who said this could spend a moth living as a short ugly dude so this argument can die. Women are absolutely as shallow about looks as guys and I guarantee that FDS women would do poorly based on how ugly their personalities are.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 08:14 AM

Having someone that you are able to be open to and vulnerable to. Someone that you can level with on a day-to-day basis, someone that has your back. I just like having people on my team. My family, friends, SO, all support me and that helps me. Not in building a business directly, I agree with you, I would build faster completely by myself. But knowing some extremely successful 8-figure people personally, legacy and success and money don't matter without a network to share your success in.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/21 10:53 PM

Productivity takes a hit for sure, but also productivity isn't a good measure of value. I would rather have the love and support of a significant other than try and be a machine 24/7. Also too many guys let their GFs become time vampires. Establish boundaries. No I am not going to wander homesense with you for 3 hours instead of doing a few necessary things for the side business.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/21 10:49 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/21 10:28 PM

Its not as extreme as 20%, but women definitely have pretty high standards to consider someone physically attractive. Face>>>height>statusmuscle>class>money>game but the last four of those are hard to acquire and don"t matter nearly as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/21 10:28 PM

Yeah those were the variables I considered as well. I think the main reason though is that there really isn't any reason to settle in terms of looks. Plenty of attractive people with their shit together to date in big cities.

You can be smart as a chad too. A few I know that excel in front office finance roles because appearances are super important and they bank 200k+ in their 20s (and are not high up in the corporate chain). And even the ones that don't have great jobs, have cool, nice, attractive girlfriends.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/21 08:44 AM

Both fair points. Someone making 50k at 30 who has been working evenings and weekends developing skills and business plan have a much better shot than a 45 year old with 2 kids working in insurance. But its still less than <1% either way. And I would question the value in a prenup with less than 7 figure net worth.

USA left wing is caught in a death spiral of woke centrism for sure, but I'm not sure how you can call the modern right economically left wing when their major policy of the last 5 years was to cut taxes on the rich and raise them for everyone else.

You don't need to be successful to date attractive women. Plenty of nobody guys out there making 50k and still hooking up with hotties. Women will only care about success if you are a famous DJ or actor or athlete. Anything less doesn't move the needle much.

First of all, athletes definitely do not peak in their 30s, as a human your physical prime is 100% in your 20s. The last 10 NBA mvp winners were 25, 24, 28, 28, 27, 26, 25, 28, 27, 22. And I'm not even talking about career success, I'm talking about your peak attractiveness to women in their 20s, which will also be in your 20s. #2 What about a 40 year old man who own a nice home, a nice summer home, two cars, makes $250,000 a year and is in relatively good shape? I believe that is who the OP i…

I know plenty of guys who make 100k+ and have built successful businesses in their 20s. And I guarantee 100% that any 25 year old girl that has a choice would rather date a good-looking guy her age than your overweight dad in his 40s. This is the kind of thinking that leads to young women being harassed all the time by older men who think they still have it.
/r/ExRedPill01/02/21 09:32 PM

Naw no women worth a damn is dating a guy in their 40s when she is in her 20s. They are dating attractive successful guys their own age.

Also as an UMC/UC guy, its also that you just don't ever meet uneducated women. Women without college degrees aren't exactly common at Equinox or Nobu or McKinsey.

I agree that men can increase their SMV in their 30s relative to women in their 30s if they work at it and don't get fat or bald. But if you were already working out and dressing well at 26 you will be more attractive than you are at 36 to women in their 20s.
/r/ExRedPill01/02/21 08:46 PM

Game. If you can talk to women without being anxious and throw in the occasional flirt that is all the social skill you need. None of the guys I know who were best with women used game at all and game has the potential to backfire because you come across as inauthentic. Also men do not increase their overall attraction by aging. The vast majority of non-religious relationships have an age gap of two years and if you are peaking in your 30s it just means you didn't try in your 20s.

Maybe there is a better way of phrasing it but if you read the rest of the sentence it makes sense. The whole subreddit operates on the assumptions that 1. All men are inherently terrible 2. All women are inherently good 3. Anything bad a woman does is internalized misogyny. So it results in a permanent YAS QUEEN circlejerk with no room for discussion which is why I'm surprised people actually spend a lot of time there.

I'm not really concerned about what makes men attractive here. Just how it is mathematically possible that dating up is more common for men.

I am probably biased by mostly seeing the posts that hit the front page, but it just looks through the world in a very narrow, very pro-women lens that has no room for nuance or discussion. Like if an alien only had knowledge of humanity through that subreddit, they would think men are these abhorrent monsters and women are angels sent from heaven to hold the line against evil men. But maybe I'm just jealous men don't have a subreddit where we can be critical of women and receive huge outpouring…

For sure you are onto something. This sounds bad, but in the "mismatched" relationships I have seen there is definitely a power dynamic that tilts hard in favour of the more attractive partner. This usually manifests as a women controlling the man socially and financially or a man acting selfishly and lazily expecting a bangmaid. 100% of the guys I have seen date up significantly though were blue pilled to the extreme though.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/21 08:47 AM

A lot of women's dating problems would be solved by dating guys on their level right off the bat. PSA to all women, if a guy is better looking than you and not willing to seriously commit early then do not sleep with him (unless that is all you want).
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/21 11:46 PM

Dating someone on your level is not a guarantee of good treatment, but trying to date up is a surefire way to get burned over and over again. This goes for both genders.

I couldn't agree with you more and yeah based on my lived experience on two different continents the top few guys get unlimited options and average guys have few. In the relatively small city (400k) city I live in now, some of them are basically minor celebrities. However if women are staying single and cheating with top guys, that would mean men would be dating down more often than women though.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/21 11:34 PM

It's really hard to judge your own appearance so its not an easily solvable problem. But if you are overweight then overweight men would be at your level. If you have a pretty face without make up then men with good jawlines would be on your level. If you grew up middle class, middle class men would be on your level, etc. Unfortunately and unfairly, asian men and black women will be a couple levels lower than they would otherwise. Also its a lot harder to find your level as a woman because guys …

As a guy, you are 100% right, and PPD inspired me to not fall into the trap of letting my GF plan my social life. At the same time, I don't think it's as sinister as people in this thread are making out, men just prioritize different things. Like do I get frustrated that girls don't keep up with economics, history, politics, sports, and other hobbies as much? A little bit but I understand that is a trade off with spending more time cultivating relationships.

Can someone help me out with some math here. A common trope is that men up in terms of attractiveness more often than women. Would that not be mathematically impossible though? Let's say we have 10 men and 10 women in a small town. If the most attractive women (we'll call her w10) is dating the 4th most attractive guy (m10), that would mean that the three most attractive guys would have to date down as a result. This applies to relative attractiveness, not absolute and concerns long-term dating,…

But the same conclusion can be made for guys as well? If a girl doesn't offer to split or pay on the first date I'm going to assume she isn't interested. And as a high value guy, no way I am going to date someone that isn't really into me off the bat.

I think you did a good job of explaining the difference in how women express attraction. In practice though I don't think it makes of a difference as you say. An attractive women won't actually date a short guy with tattoos & piercings, because she can easily find a tall guy with tattoos & piercings. The most attractive girls will generally find the most attractive guys (in the appropriate niche) and pair up unless it is a really closed system.

Agreed. I went from invisible to head-turner in one year when I was younger. Get fit, lose fat, dress well, fix your skin, or else don't complain. I am also a "Kevin": pretty boring, anxious, and shy the first few times you meet me, although I still party. Still have no issues dating and finding high quality women. Although none of them were virgins.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 08:38 AM

Its also why people think men punch above their weight more than women. See a top 40% man and a top 40% women walking together in the street and most people will think "wow, how did that guy land her."
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 08:29 AM

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_disparity_in_sexual_relationships Non-religious men in their 40s do not date women in their 20s with any semblance of regularity. I think the other commentators calling out how ridiculous your original comment was just reinforces how rare it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 12:36 PM
1

Sure but it is pretty rare except for the couple years after
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:41 AM

The job market metaphors work so well for revealing the stupidity of some of the posts in here about the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:24 AM
3

For sure. I've been quite successful in dating but probably 75% of the women I've slept with are through a co-ed sport I play. If I decided to put that time into a solitary hobby like gaming or woodworking my dating life would have been a completely different story.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:20 AM
1

Beard also helps with round cheeks, which look ridiculous when you aren't even fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:18 AM
1

College is definitely not your last opportunity, but I would say like 75% of quality partners are taken by 1-2 years after.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:16 AM
5

When I was in uni the 20 year old women were chasing 21 year old men who were good-looking and had status on campus. They would have laughed a 30 year old out of the bar.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:08 AM
3

You are delusional and living too much on the internet and I am saying that as a guy. I literally do not know a single women who has dated a guy (even casually) over the age of 30 and I am 27. The vast majority of non-religious relationships have an age difference of less than two years.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 09:02 AM
2

For men (and some women), losing your hair can do a number as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 08:53 AM

TRP thinking older men have an advantage in dating younger women over men the same age is probably their dumbest idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 08:48 AM

For 10% of men it doesn't really matter, especially if you have darker skin. 80% makes you materially worse looking. The last 10% is men who have very fair skin and weirdly shaped heads where it completely changes your appearance for the worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 08:46 AM

Most women won't date bald guys
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 08:43 AM
1

They don't for most people
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 08:42 AM
0

Why do you think that is a big number?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/20 11:28 AM
0

Its way more than 0.01%. I'm not even that good looking and it happens to me fairly often at bars and parties. And I know guys like your friend who can sit down at a bar, and guaranteed within 20 minutes girls approach them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/20 09:27 AM
10

Always blew my mind that people consider the gender that dresses better, spends way more time on instagram, and is dominant in crafting spaces and the design community the "less visual gender".
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/20 09:24 AM
4

Tons of men still struggle despite having great personalities and hygiene though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/20 10:21 AM
10

We don't blame women for judging men on looks. Its totally fair and men do the same. Men are just tired of the holier-than-though hypocrisy of women saying they choose men based on the value of their character when they are just as shallow as men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/20 10:19 AM
3

I guess it depends where you are located. In major cities in Europe and NA 90% of guys do all of those, in my experience. Although my experience is probably influenced by my privilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/20 10:05 AM
65

Yeah well-socialized guys are the most "blackpilled" group in my experience, counter to the OP. If you've been socializing with girls and going to parties since you were 15 then you realize how important looks are.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/20 09:58 AM
13

YES, this is the argument I never understood from the personality crowd. There is a boring, shitty women out there for every boring, shitty man. Some of the guys I know most successful with women can barely hold a conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/20 09:54 AM
3

Like 95% of people pair up with someone of similar attractiveness though, so it can't really be too subjective
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/20 09:51 AM
2

My assumption is that attractiveness is distributed evenly throughout each gender. So if you are arguing from the point of view that women are overall more attractive than men (i.e there are more female 8s than male 8s) is the only way that it wouldn't add up. The large majority of men outside of religious communities marry within 2-3 years of their own age so I don't think that would make a material impact. And most cities are basically closed systems considering most people don't move to impro…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 04:40 PM
1

Preach. That's the only reason people think women date down consistently.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 12:14 PM
0

Wouldn't there have to be an equal number of relationships where the guy is better-looking and the girl is more attractive, going by the maths.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 12:12 PM
2

I call it "micro status" and it is a super underrated concept on here. I have never done better with women than when I was the best volleyball player at our pick-up group and organized the social events and brought new players in.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 12:09 PM
3

Hot women with good personalities want hot men with good personalities. Neither part is really negotiable.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 12:00 PM
2

If anything it makes it harder. As someone who has been there, where do you meet women and go on dates when you work basically non-stop from Monday to Sunday afternoon? How many times can you tell your girlfriend you have to cancel Saturday night plans because something came up? The world is so competitive these days that making it to the top of any field requires an autistic single-mindfulness that is not really compatible with good relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 11:57 AM
2

Why do you think that men don't deal with these exact same issues?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/20 06:29 AM
1

Except the large majority of relationships have a 2 years or less age gap, especially in western society and especially among young people.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/20 06:25 AM
4

The amount of over 25 guys dating under 25 girls is a very small % of relationships though which is where your argument falls apart
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/20 06:23 AM
2

Move to Toronto. I have sooooo many well educated, super clever guy friends who are perpetually single.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/20 06:14 PM
1

Where?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/20 05:29 PM
2

That's what I mean. If you are the smallest guy in the room at 200 then the others are fat, not gladiators.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/20 08:57 PM
5

If you are over 200lbs and 5'11 you are either fat or on juice and a dedicated bodybuilder. And I'm saying that as someone who has abs and an "overweight" bmi
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/20 07:39 PM
9

Have you seen the women though. Gotta be at like 98%
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/20 04:58 PM
1

And I honestly cant believe age gaps are as common as people in this thread are saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/20 09:03 AM
2

I think previous presidential candidates just didn't know you could stoop that low and still be considered a serious option.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/20 09:00 AM
1

You can fuck girls casually while preparing for top tier jobs. These are not mutually exclusive.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/20 08:57 AM
2

Nope major cities and I'm pretty social. Toronto, St. Louis & Brussels. It might be a class thing though because my social circle is 90% upper middle class and upper class.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 06:16 PM
0

Sounds like a lot of guys I know but without the "inbetween". Have a high school or early college fling. Then start dating someone at the end of college and marry them 5 years later.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:09 PM
1

And pretty much unheard of if you are talking about attractive college educated women
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 05:56 PM
1

That's exactly what I did when I was 22 with a solid amount of success. I have noooo intentions of being the weird 30 year old lurking around campus bars
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 05:54 PM
3

Actually better than that, I have never met anyone with more than a 5-year age gap. And its not like I am some shut-in. Which is why this thread is mind blowing to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 05:46 PM
1

An attractive 22 year old women is still going to take the peak 25 year old over the peak 30 year old though
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:26 AM
5

Where the fuck do you live that hot 22 year olds are dating 35 year old accountants lol. And by far the most common age gap is less than two years difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:09 AM
2

As a dude in that age range no one is. And when I was in college attractive girls did not date older either. Like 90%+ of people I know date within 2 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:08 AM
12

I think that's what people are missing here. Women who can get decent guys their own age aren't dating 5+ year older guys. It's almost always very low value women or sugar babies
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:06 AM
8

Yeah I've lived in Canada, the US and Western Europe and have never once encountered a 30+ year old dating a college aged girl
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:04 AM
13

Yeah I remember girls getting clowned for dating 25 year old guys in college. Let alone guys in their 30s lol
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:02 AM
1

Video games I've kept about 5 hrs a week my adult life (not enough time!) but If I'm drinking with no obligation to be sober or responsible then its minimum 4 beers. Although overall I would say women in my age range are more fervent drinkers than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 06:01 AM
1

Would you say your girlfriends are normal looking too
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 08:16 PM
2

Plenty of boring and mean men have very successful sex lives though. How are these people "getting through the door"
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 08:14 PM
2

Idk. I've slept with women without saying anything more than let's go back to my place and seen it happen to my friends as well. Also sleeping with someone who doesn't share a language.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 08:12 PM
1

I mean the term literally means a guy who will sleep with a girl but wont commit to her. It's a pretty common situation where a girl wants commitment but a guy wants to keep it more casual
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 08:06 PM
4

I mean anyone social under the age of 30 has already seen this play out. A few of my guy friends could bang pretty much anyone they wanted, a few had occasional FWBs and one night stands, and the majority only had sex within long term relationships with no casual sex at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 07:08 PM
1

The issue is that traditional social beliefs often come hand in hand with conservative economic beliefs too which are horrible for the lower classes.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 05:40 PM
1

Have you heard of the term "fuckboy" before
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/20 05:32 PM
2

Most people with significant dating experience are black pilled as well
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 08:06 PM
0

You don't think most guy's teenage sex experiences aren't also horrible and traumatizing? Some of the shit my friends went though from teenage girls is absolutely horrifying
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 08:01 PM
1

I am still looking forward to meeting one of these people "in the wild". 13 years of going out to bars and parties across a dozen countries and you think I would have met someone like this by now.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/20 06:35 PM
1

I mean I could show you my facebook friends list and 90% of the couples would be pretty closely matched. You could do the same exercise in the NYT marriages section. I have to take public transport for a while every day and see an average guy/pretty girl pair once a week at most
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/20 06:29 PM
2

If all your attractive girl friends are dating ugly guys then who are your good-looking guy friends dating ?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/20 06:28 AM
1

If you played in university then try talking to former teammates. Usually the best leagues in a city aren't advertised anywhere and are invite only. At least thats how it works in volleyball.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/20 06:26 AM
2

One person getting fat is their fault, I agree. Obesity increasing by 20% in 30 years is some society wide fuckery and blaming every single fat person gets you nowhere. I am 6 foot 180 and squat 3 plates for working sets and would never ever ever hook up with a fat person before you think I have a horse in this race.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 09:20 PM
3

Nope volleyball, figure skating, gymnastics, tennis. Trust me it is all majority guys watching
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 09:11 PM
3

Haha girlfriend watching rec league ball is a classic. And I work in pro sports and trying to attract female viewers is something the smartest people in the industry have tried for decades and no one has figured it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 09:07 PM
1

The young women who date older guys are always low value though
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 09:02 PM
2

It doesnt actually change what people are attracted to though. Fat is still ugly. I think the point is just to stop people from feeling as much shame with doesnt usually end in healthy behaviour
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 09:01 PM
6

Seen the same myself. Biggest mistake you can ever make in a relationship is gaining weight.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 08:59 PM
6

If you cant find a good relationship by 30s then there is reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 08:54 PM
3

I play volleyball which is probably the most popular sport for women and even that is at least 60% men playing post college. And in terms of watching the sport its 80% guys. Still better than 95% of baseball / football / baseball though
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 08:51 PM
3

I don't disagree with you but I'm sure most guys here have more experience with women than you no offense.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 08:48 PM
0

Women are definitely less intense & diverse about their hobbies but I don't think that is a bad thing. If I were to transfer some of the energy I put towards hobbies into friendships it would benefit me in a lot of ways
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 08:33 PM
14

Same with guys tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 08:26 PM
1

Good to hear your perspective, especially that last part is something I haven't thought of much before. What other details would they be scavenging for? But I'm sure the hotness of the boyfriend is a factor based on the sheer volume of how much girls chirp each other for having non-attractive boyfriends
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:35 PM
2

I fully agree that excessive porn and gaming are a huge issue, but not for that reason. Porn and gaming has no effect on guys getting partners, because that is based mostly on how you look (as long as they are still going outside and socializing). But it will make them shitty partners because their dopamine receptors are so fried they need too much stimulation to have a successful relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:30 PM
1

I'm kind of socially retarded and I do WAY better than a lot of my extrovert friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:25 PM
4

I'm pretty confident my kids will be the last non genetically-engineered generation.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:23 PM
6

This has fundamentally changed with modern technology though. We have never existed in a world where productivity is so removed from manual labour
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:22 PM
2

In a non-fat European country and short bald guys are most certainly not hooking up with skinny pretty women
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:18 PM
9

Plenty of video game playing, porn-watching men kill it with women though. And lots of guys who abstain from them are virgin as fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:17 PM
1

Yup. Getting money and girls is super easy if you are born into the right situation. But there will ALWAYS be chump guys who think they are a temporarily embarrassed millionaire / chad and can get there if they just work hard enough and hear the right advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:11 PM
1

Well its either a systemic issue or an issue with all women lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 06:03 PM
8

As a guy porn for sure fucks with your ability to appreciate women. We're on like level 2 out of 10 for porn though and it is already messing us up. Once VR and deepfake porn really takes off that will be when relationships will truly be fucked.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 05:58 PM
5

Having a "cute" boyfriend on social media is HUGE for a women's status. When women talk about a guy they hooked up with 100% of the time the first question is "let me see his insta"
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 05:50 PM
12

Agree fully, but I can see how its an easy trap for women to fall into. In their head of course they would make a guy they are serious about wait, those one night stands were with fun hot party guys that they wouldn't date now. But guys want indicators of that raw physical attraction which breaks down with the inconsistency.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 12:33 PM
1

Anyone making money without working is bad in my books. At least the government is building roads and schools. Money that I make for a company going to shareholders who have never worked a day in their life instead of me seems like stealing.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 12:20 PM
2

No, rent seeking capitalists
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 12:10 PM
3

Monopoly guy is certainly doing a good job of stealing part of their paycheck every month though while feeding talking points to the media about how poor people don't work hard enough despite America having one of the lowest rates of economic mobility in the developed world.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 11:30 AM
1

Money is just a proxy for status anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 11:18 AM
3

You can tell by the answers in this sub saying that they have never been asked out and they have to convince their girl to fuck that most guys are not 7+ lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 11:11 AM
4

Literally things are more expensive and people are making less money. Yes individual responsible spending is important, but it is NOT the reason why people are poorer.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 10:47 AM
1

Same issue in western countries that aren't as plus-sized as the US
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 10:41 AM
2

Lol I got a business degree and now I work in TV. I wouldn't say a business degree opens unlimited doors unless you go to Wharton or another top-ranked school.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 10:38 AM
2

There is wayyyyy more rent seeking among the 0.1% wealth holders in America than poor people on programs. Look at how much worse inequality has gotten.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/20 10:33 AM
10

A couple years out of college don't know too many virgin men but I know a lot of guys who don't really get a pick of who they date.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/20 06:19 PM
8

Most people will attribute dating success to their hard work rather than any innate advantages . Dating is radically different across class. I have never once seen a women on here concede a point or change their opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/20 08:25 PM
1

I do and it helps, that's why I said most. Also genetics greatly impacts how your body looks as well. I know some strong guys that barely look like they lift and some guys who just play sports twice a week who look jacked
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 07:36 PM
1

And there are people who would call you a black piller for suggesting that attractive people date each other
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 06:02 PM
2

Appearance is important for both men and women, but less women are willing to sleep with a guy just because he's good-looking. Does it really matter though? An attractive women who likes smart guys is still going to have attractiveness as a requirement. An attractive women who likes assholes is still going to have attractiveness as a requirement. Agree on your second point.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 04:13 PM
1

Mainly that women are as shallow as men when it comes to dating in terms of looks. Also that for men a lot (but not all) of your attractiveness is based on things you cannot change like face, race, and height.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 03:06 PM
6

I was an awkward and shy with women but I was still invited to all the parties / bar nights and had plenty of options for FWBs and relationships due to being good looking. My friends who were more confident but uglier than me had to put in WAY more effort to date less attractive girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 03:02 PM
5

I would say that most blackpill people dispute that the redpill works (except for improving your looks)
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 10:05 AM
2

I believe parts of the blackpill but am not an in cel. What would you like to discuss
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 10:02 AM
7

Myself (and many others) believe the blackpill because of our dating experience, not because of our lack of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/20 10:01 AM
1

I believe most of the blackpill and my economic views are quite socialist. I've also benefited quite a bit from the free market in both dating and money. You can reject identity politics and still be a leftist.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 04:30 PM
1

By people who don't work do you mean capital owners or those on welfare.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 04:26 PM
17

Students are also spending way more time on schoolwork and extra curriculars that take away their socialization time. Getting into a good college is insanely more competitive now than it used to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 07:57 AM
23

Options, yes for sure. Tolerance for BS ? Women having sex with a smaller % of men (what this study suggests) indicates that they are putting up with more BS and fuckboy behaviour.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 07:55 AM
9

Also the huge increase in in hours spent studying and working. And women no longer have to rely on guys for $ reasons
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 07:49 AM
20

Having an ugly boyfriend all over your instagram is social suicide for young women
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 07:47 AM
5

Class mobility is almost non existent in the US. Beta bucks is not really an option for 95% of men
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/20 07:37 AM
6

RP is constantly saying that ugly dudes can clean up with attractive women if their game is on point. Which never happens irl
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/20 05:22 PM
5

Anyone who has gone from ugly to good-looking can tell you that this is unequivocally false
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/20 08:17 AM
1

Except almost every billionaire leans right economically.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 11:00 AM
3

People still treat you way better if you are attractive. I have friends that get free shit all. the. time.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 10:57 AM
5

Thank goodness too. I got way better results focusing entirely on my appearance then working on cringey pick up techniques
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 10:52 AM

churnthrowaway123456 is right. 33.2% of couples the husband is within one year. 20.4 % with 2-3 years older. So in 53.6% of couples (a majority) the husband is 3 or less years older
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/20 02:21 PM
2

Lots of redpillers arguing with you in this thread but its true. Only low value girls date older because it basically means they werent able to get a high value guy their own age. In my social circle of mid-late 20s people literally everyone dates within 3 years of their age.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/20 02:03 PM
1

Im that age and can concur. No one I know is dating someone in their 30s. It is pretty strange.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/20 01:57 PM
2

Lots of good guys have options though
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/20 01:43 PM
1

I think a common number for people who can have casual sex in college. I met my long-term partner in senior year and have a similar number.
