1	Have Boys Become the Second Sex? -- New York Magazine I understand that it's a different subreddit but banning me out of the blue seemed like an childish act of hostility. I actually thought that r/menstudies was an offshoot of r/mensrights for scientific articles but upon closer examination, it's very different. It's kind of hilarious in retrospect because the mod is just picking people (s)he disagrees with and banning them at random. Also the same mod accounts for 80% of all submissions to that subreddit. Each board has a dominant ideology and a narrative that everyone is expected to follow at the risk of being shunned from the group. There is a lot of herd mentality on both boards. I think the reason r/mensrights gets so much flak and condemnation (see ShitRedditSays, half of it is from r/mensrights) is because men are frank and say what's on their mind. The juxtaposition is interesting, in how they linked death to sex (representing reproduction and life). And yes I'm female. In my grade, the boys were amazing at physics and the girls were great at social studies/humanities and French but marks-wise it evened out. It would only make sense to compare if they were the same major because then the remaining difference would be gender-based, not major and gender-based. There's some kind of phenomenon that makes you unattracted to people in your family that you grow up with, maybe that wasn't there for her since he was adopted. Women invest more resources/time into every pregnancy whereas men have the potential to impregnate as many women as they want. I think the reason why women are discriminated against less than men.
