he's reduced to begging now We are married, all money goes into the same place and each of us have equal rights to it (both ethically and legally). If he wants a new car that bad he can just go buy it.

Since you say otherwise then give me a non discriminatory reason why a straight or hi woman would have this preference? I mean I couldn't see a man as dominant if he was a bottom. If he was bi and I knew he was a top, but then again I dont really want to hear about sex with past partners. Maybe that is a discriminatory reason but I dont want to have sex with a man who I dont see as extremely masculine.

This is genuinely funny. I did my post grad while working and shat out a kid half way through, our marriage wasn't strained at all. Enough so that my husband actually pushed me to start a second post grad this year. I also now outearn him, judging by the jokes about me using the extra money to buy him new cars I'd say he is comfortable with that.

Younger women who want a family would be wise to be avoid a man who failed to commit and have kids for so long. It's irresponsible for older men to have children, people forget that the man makes up half of the babies DNA and it increases the rate of birth defects if the farther is older. The placenta is also made up mostly of male DNA and if the placenta is weak that leads to complications in both baby and mum.

Yes, I read the post too. If you scroll for a second youd learn the reason I say this is I believe that men have the ability to convince these men to change.

>Why most the argument always always be “but there’s something wrong with men and only men” I agree that's a crap argument, there are both women and men who are shit people and there is too much focus on men vs women on both sides when it should be shunning shitty people. >when can we expect “dont hate men” to come from the women’s side. I think women don't take being "taught" by anyone the way a lot of men can learn from other men. I feel like the majority need to reject women who spread this i…

it comes from a place of spite, There was a point in time where the aim was not to get together and hate women but for men to focus on themselves, that I think would be a good thing if it were still a thing.

teach young men that dating and actively getting women’s attention isn’t necessary This is why I think MGTOW is a good idea in general and why I used to support TRP because at one point both movements had a good basis of self improvement (not nessasarily anymore). But I do think this is something men have to teach men (and boys) I don't think "don't hate women" coming from a woman is going to be anywhere near as meaningful. Which is why I recommend men with some sense speak up.

Ideally, I’d want to do both Okay fair I also think this flawed argument is the source of a lot of hate What argument do you think will make a difference? What replacement is there for this point then?

I dont think you're wrong, and I think you make good arguments which is rare especially here. But wouldn't your time be better used trying to change the minds of people who spread hate rather than people who are trying to stop that, albeit with a flawed argument?

I feel like the biggest issue is exactly that, it gets harder on the mum and more risk to the baby to have kids the older you get. Sure there are people who have kids without issues at an older age but that's not the norm. having to raise them requires lots of energy. This is so under appreciated, I have a 4 month old at 31 and getting up at 5am after a shit sleep is so much harder now than it was at 25, I dont think I would cope with a baby at 40+ and I'm quite high energy. I'm sure people will…

if the price of gas becomes $50 a gallon, people will think something is wrong and want to talk about it. Man you REALY don't understand economics. If the price of petrol is $50 it's because enough people are willing to pay $50 for petrol for it to be worth that much. If people stopped buying at $50 the cost would go down. Super basic explanation but that's how supply and demand works and you can yap about it all you like people are still going to pay what they think something is worth. since mo…

I don't disagree that women should start having children in their 20s but there's not many people who want +3 kids now days. I feel like there are better arguments for having children before 30 than "you won't be able to have more than 3 kids"

I earn more than my husband and he's 2 years younger than me. OPs entire point is that people date within their age range. 2.2 years is the same range, not 10 years which is the entire debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 07:42 PM
2

So unlike you I can actually source data. The average age gap currently around 2.2 years in the US with most Western countries being similar. 2.2 years is hardly an age gap worth noting and definitely not the gap that men like you tout as the norm. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/08/15/a-growing-share-of-us-husbands-and-wives-are-roughly-the-same-age/ Also relationships with a large age gap can cause difficulties https://psychcentral.com/relationships/age-difference-in-relationships…

And yes, older means 1-2, 5 and 10 years The point is there are men spewing that normal range is 10+ years when this is something that happens rarely. literally left without girls. It doesn't really work like that but let's assume everyone in the world is coupled up, a 22 year old would date a 20 year old, the 20 year old would date an 18 year old etc. So a bunch of kids would start dating a year or 2 after the girls in their cohort, that's not really a bad thing.

Idk what it's like where you're from but in my country both parents have parental rights (and responsibilities), so if the mum doesn't want the kid but the dad does the kid goes to the dad and the mum has to pay. I agree it would be ideal (but probably not feasible) if it wasn't possible to spend that money on anything that didn't benefit the child.

This saying has been something trp has said for over a decade It's correct in the sense that you go to an expert in what you want to do. So if you want a relationship you go to someone in a relationship not a pua. People confuse the two, assuming that manipulation works for a relationship because someone else got laid. The other problem it is the reality is people assume someone is a "good fishermen" when infact they don't know what they are doing that's working. People also lie, look at all the…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 11:08 PM

Yes you put a disclaimer so you can brush off anyone who disagrees with you. That has nothing to do with my comment. Trp is not about suffering but you come to ppd with the sentiment that suffering is being forced onto men. If that's not what you mean then why make the post here and why make the claim that everything is sunshine and roses as soon as you "find yourself"
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 10:41 PM

If you can't develop hobbies without "suffering" then you have bigger problems then someone telling you to quiet down. I also have no problems with the traditional social system other than the people trying to tear it down, so maybe stop projecting.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 05:56 AM

Which is different to your original comment of "everything should be 50/50 or the man will take advantage" Im just trying to understand the point of view because the comments don't seem to track.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 05:07 AM

My husband and I have both been through periods of unemployment over the course of our marriage We thankfully haven't but I won't be paid for 3 months towards the end of the year (I want to take my full 12 months of maternity leave but total paid is 9 months), the amount of stress it would cause if my husband kept tally of expenses would make me a nervous wreck.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 05:05 AM

So now you're saying marriage should not be 50/50?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 04:57 AM

No, they were just 50/50 people and held a lot back. That's the point, if you intend to marry someone you don't hold back "what's yours" and you don't keep score. Marriage is a team effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 04:09 AM

I always imagine these people sitting there 20 years down the road with kids etc and a sick spouse telling them "well you better find a way to make money soon, the electric is due on the 10th"
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 04:03 AM

Because they weren't holding back, you put everything in. I've worked in finance for almost a decade now and seen people of all walks of lifes finances. Most of the people I've seen that end up in a shit fight divorce had other accounts with a not insignificant amount of money.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 03:58 AM

If you marry someone and you're only 50% in it, your marriage will most likely not survive.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 03:51 AM

Marriage is not 50/50 anything, it's one pool. Money goes in the same account and bills come out. Housework is done by the person who is best at it (ie hubby shits me the way he folds laundry so I do it, I'm crap at yardwork so he keeps all the plants alive), or whoever has the most energy at the time.

I think OP just spends too much time on reddit and thinks the comments made here directed at men who haven't showered in a week and complain from their mums basement that they can't get a girlfriend are what happens to all men in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 12:34 AM

If you can't get what you want then you obviously need to be better, it's as simple as that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 12:29 AM

TRP used to be about men acting like an actual fucking man, not a pussy who made their core focus women and getting laid. Now TRP is a heap of men making sex the core of their lives and blaming women for every minor problem. Want to be a man? Get a life, get some male friends, find a man you respect and make him your mentor. The reason "go lift" become such a meme is because it actually worked, this pussy shit makes you as bad as the feminists you hate.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 12:13 AM

There are also a lot of women who reform because they realise they won't find a husband, but none of it has to do with religion. RP doesn't care about your God. I know this is a bit of a rant but it shits me that people equate all RP with Christianity.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/25 02:15 PM

Shared values and someone who shows affection in a way you can accept it. Your marriage may not be what someone else may choose but you have to live it not them. Choose someone you can live with forever because your agreeing to forever. Side note, don't make a list of wants but have deal brakers. The more qualifying factors you have the harder it is to find someone who fits your needs.
/r/RedPillWomen14/01/25 02:06 PM

Hitting a child only teaches them that the biggest guy is the one who wins in the end, if that's the lesson you want to teach your children then you'll raise some shitty people. There are absolutely ways to correct that behaviour at 3, but violence is not the answer.
/r/RedPillWomen27/12/24 01:52 PM

FIL can clearly not be trusted with a child, there are ways to teach a child not to hit (and you should teach your child not to hit even at 3) but violence is not okay no matter what. With hubby I'd be sitting down once your calm and talking about why it's not okay and why bub will not be around FIL any longer. He may have written it off in the moment due to everyone's high emotions or family dynamics so assume the best until the worst is proven.

It's really very simple, women want a slight power imbalance but not agency to be taken away. 38/20 is fine if you're assuming both are capable adults, if the younger is very immature/sheltered it's an issue. /r/PurplePillDebate21/11/24 08:28 PM

I think the point is even in your definition the trad wife would still get a choice in the husband, assuming when you say "marry young" you mean married at 18-23 not a child who is unable to make decisions or being forced into an arranged marriage by someone who doesn't care about your well-being. Still a chance of ending up with an abusive asshole in that situation but it does drop a lot when assuming free will.

Only women who are "required" by their culture/religion to prove they are virgins on their wedding night get this surgery. It doesn't do anything for the actual appearance of the vagina, just reconstructs the hymen so she bleeds during sex with her husband for the first time. It's understandable why women get this done but unless she comes from a culture that is so up its own ass that people can't recognise riding a bike won't take your virginity then it's entirely pointless.

Wait, so you're saying that women are currently better off being single than in a relationship, so instead of men bringing something to the table women should be punished for being single in order to improve men's odds?

Only one of these studies has a large enough sample size to even be relevant but I'm going to ignore that because the overall point, that women overestimate the risk of drink spiking, is true and discussing the exact number has no real baring on the conversation. Fact is humans survive because we all overestimate the likelihood of something happening if the consequences are severe (look up negativity bias, it affects men and women roughly equally). The consequences of drink spiking is high (like…

Why is everyone pulling up in group bias and pretending it's a major impact on male/female interactions. In group bias is the preference towards someone who is part of the group one identities with over someone who is not. The effect is stronger the smaller and more specific the group. So someone may identify with both their country and their church group. They would as a result show preference to people from their country but a stronger preference towards their church group as that is the small…

You're kinda conflating socialisation with group bias. Group bias is the tendency to prefer people who fit within the same groups as you (this may be people that you've met or know or someone who you don't know who just fits into a group your pat of). It's the thing you see when two people follow the same football team meet for the first time and suddenly they are bffs talking about whatever match or player they like. Women do show more in group preference as a whole Yes but the in group is rarely 50% of the population, that's just too big and too diverse a population for anyone to identify with. Mostly group bias is based on cultural groupings (or even smaller sub groups) which include men because let's be honest a man who shares the same culture, values, religion etc is more like you then a woman on the other side of the planet who doesn't even speak the same language.

You're not being realistic about mens behaviour. If you want to make the claim that a minority of men are shit humans and need to fix themselves, sure 100% agree, this is not the claim youre making though. The current ideology in vogue is consideration of improving “odds” of their social group (e.g. gender) and how individual actions “imbalance society” towards or away from their favor. Actual humans who spend time outside don't put much thought into how to improve the dating prospects of some random man/woman they have never met. They think about what is best for them specifically, if that has an impact on other people it is what it is.

I don't think age is a real issue so much as development. When people look down on age gap it's because they assume (often rightly so) that two people are in a different life/developmental stage or that there is a power imbalance. So because I've been beaten by a man I can advocate for the removal of your humanity and your rights by society, incite violence against you, and make threats against you. Despite the fact that you personally didn't do shit and for all I know you're the nicest person on the planet?

Ah yes, a "study" mentioned in a reposted story by business insider (study never linked to, so we can totally trust how reliable it is) says around 150 women answered a survey in a particular way. Look sure there's probably women out there so mentally ill they would do some shit like this. The point is if you're regularly encountering women who would do something so weird and pointless as this you are selecting poorly.

Obviously, that's why I said that there are 300kg people, not that the average person was 300kg. 300kg people get dates. I'm sure there are people who are that comically obease and go on dates but the overwhelming majority of people will not date someone that size.

Heh? I haven't seen the comment you're referring to. Idk if I specified both but yeah its true for both genders. It's probably never been easier to be comparatively attractive but everyone is out here bitching about chad like being under 6ft is the issue when we got people trying to date at 300kg.

You choose this. Idk you but let's be real you dont get a say in how others treat you but you do get all the say on how you react to it. Plenty of people have been through some fucked up shit, it doesn't excuse perpetuating that same shit over and over. And the thing is at the end of the day the people who live with the kind of bitter hated you show are people who bring even more shit onto themselves. I've seen where that kind of life ends up and you don't want that for yourself.

I mean sure people are more likely to say shit when anonymous, but it does happen out in the real world too. I'm not complaining, I guarantee i give as good as I get. People should be able to criticise others (to a reasonable extent, I don't believe in going after kids or inciting violence obviously). I mean obviously I am wonderful and all the people who disagree with me are the one's in the wrong, but they are entitled to being wrong.

A man who hates all women because he was cheated on by one woman should be criticised in the same way that a woman who hates all men because one man beat her. Your analogy doesn't hold up. There are (roughly) equal numbers of men and women in the world. There are also roughly the same amount of good to trash in each gender. Women get inundated with low value men trying to get something out of her because these men spam hundreds of women with their dick or the same vile message. Technically, you could call an ad initiating I'd say a job ad is more like a dating profile. Yes the women is saying there's a "position vacant" but a hot 23 year old woman isn't directing that at a 50+ balding man with a beer gut any more than a company advertising for an accountant is directing that at a high school drop out who can barely add.

I mean isn't the recruitment process kinda like this already? You always had to initiate contact with the company to get their attention, which is pretty normal but imagine you always have to, they never hit you up and ask you for an interview no matter what. If you're an average or below average candidate you generally have to initiate (ie a job application), it's only when you're the very top tier candidate that recruiters will reach out. I also have also been there for friends and family in difficult times and in my early 20s voulenteered as a crisis counsellor. So yeah I have been in some dark places and seen a lot of people going through some shit. The reaction you describe, crying in the fetal position rocking back and forth and wanting to rip teeth out or whatever, I've seen similar reactions probably twice. Both were from people suffering s…

There's no way of knowing at all. I mean if you're an ugly obease woman and suddenly have a super attractive man saying he wants to have sex with you but also is reluctant to touch you that might be a sign. Or just have some common sense and realise that sex with someone you don't know can lead you to being fucked by someone you don't like.

Because since third wave feminism women have been told that we are wrong for wanting a husband and kids. Women who have kids in their 20s are harassed for "ruining" their lives and their kids lives. Women who want to get married are told they will regret it and resent their husbands at best and at worst that they will be abused for the rest of their life. The women in their 30s and 40s now were children and teens when their bitter cunt mothers decided to ruin the opertunities they had for future…

Women who wait until 40+ to start trying have long missed the boat. The point is the majority of women have the option of having a kid, obviously they need to think about it well before 40. I suspect it is because they're preoccupied with education and careers You're wrong here.

Sure. And Germany during world war two just happened to have a lot of bad men. Same for Japan in Nanking. Same for all the Islamic world. You do understand that these things happened due to people having their humanity stripped away. If you don't see your victims as human you won't have any issues doing horrific things to them. This is just as true for women as it is for men and there are many examples of women doing horrible things throughout history. The fact that humans have been indoctrinate…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 08:32 AM

Yes the rule on this sub is if you want to address a specific person you cannot reply to them but you have to make a post and address it to their gender at large.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 08:09 AM

I assume you mean pay differences not paedophilia. I earn a lot more than some of the men I work with, because I do more than twice the work they do and I don't fuck up. People who are competent win from a meritocracy, I'm not going to back a system that pulls me down or artificially inflates others when they don't contribute as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 05:55 AM

The intent of the sub is to discuss sex and dating issues in the world at large. Why would you assume that in a place that was literally created to discuss the general population that people would choose to discuss a small very non representative subset of the population. But yes, men and women both excuse women who do horrible things. Are you really going to say that a man who punches his wife in the face is worse than a mum who hooks her 11 year old son up to a car battery just because the man…

Man people here are so delusional. The vast majority of couples have a 2-3 year age gap. When women have told you they like older men, they mean 2-3 years older not 10+ years. Yes there are exceptions, you are not one of them. Only around 8% of couples have an age gap of 10+ years and that includes relationships where the woman is older. Also I don't care about your story of how you fucked a hot 22 year old at 45, I know you relive that fantasy every night but repeating that story doesn't make i…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 09:38 PM

Most men don't have any delusions about that. I agree with everything you said except the majority of the men on PPD are so delusional they believe they are 6ft+, jacked, and pull hot 20 year olds every night.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 09:26 PM

You must be poor or just don't have a lot of options. I was in my 20s the oldest man I dated was 3 years older and every man i dated had enough money to take me on dates and buy me things, even when still in uni. Basically every woman I know from my own class is/was the same.

So keep them in the Thunder Dome so they can just suffer? There are some incels who have value to society, it's just not sexual or relationship value. So just like placate them with sex robots rather than letting the bitterness take over. Nah, I'd encourage incels to have a sex robot. Keeps them from getting so bitter that they go on a rape/murder spree. I was going to say the average man shouldn't use sex robots because that reduces the dating pool but also if women can't be better than a flesh light then they don't deserve a partner.

90% of casual sex is sparked by alcohol or drugs anyway I would have thought that would be more true in the days before feminists pushed women into being whores. Since now a lot of women have been coached to believe that casual sex is liberating or whatever. men should just abandon the idea of casual sex. Interesting take, why do you think that?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/24 09:43 PM

No shit. Point is OP doesn't seem to know the difference between dating and sex. Women date different men than the have casual sex with.

Women don't want 50 options in dating because their options in dating are slightly above to well below their equal value in RMV. If you advertise yourself like that you will get few men at the level you want to date and many men well below the level you want to date. Showing your ass on social media is only an effective strategy for women not interested in dating and only interested in sex.

I also know more women in shitty min wage jobs who are abusive and have ridiculous expectations of men than women in corporate jobs.

I mean half is a pretty big disparity, if this is the case either the man is not working full time or there is a big class divide. If my partner wasn't working full time and I was I'd be pissed, mostly because I expect to take on a greater role in childrearing so if he can't even get a real job and I have to be the main breadwinner and carer then wtf do I actually need him for? In the class divide case that's probably a doomed relationship anyway since they will have very different backgrounds. …

I only graduated 3 years ago so it's not like there has been that big a shift. But my field definitely included women who were more realistic than the average feminist. In terms of non American, well I still live in a western culture so we have feminists here, but it does seem like American colleges are pretty corrupted by feminism while very few university spaces are like that here.

Getting nice clothes, decent hair cuts, good skincare, exercise, nutrition etc. Yeah for sure I'd do that for a son or a daughter. Medical procedures that have the potential to cause harm is a hard no. Even thinking it's okay to put any kid through this is incredibly harmful not only for the potential physical risks but also its extremely mentally damaging. Also both myself and my partner are fairly attractive so I doubt our kids are going to be ugly.

Anecdotally I know a lot of Asian men and their families all pressure them to date/marry an Asian or Indian women. Also my partner is from a very conservative European country and his family all wanted to set him up with women from their country, they were worried before they met me that I would not be good to him because I'm born and raised Australian.

Your husband is a child who can't deal with the slightest annoyance. This is exactly the reason why women should vet properly before they get married. Now you have to try to convince a toddler in an adult man's body to get professional help. If he doesn't he's likely to continue to escalate and could potentially become violent if he hasn't already.

Okay so women in their early 20s estimate their maturity to be 2-3 years older than men. Studies also suggest that girls brains develop sooner than boys, with boys not catching up until their early 20s. Girls ARE about 2 years ahead of boys and the effect is still present in early 20s. So women in their early 20s are correctly estimating their maturity. I dont know what you don't get about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/24 02:24 AM

How is this a minor part, your premise is women want to date older men because they believe they are more mature. I told you girls from around 10 to their early 20s are more mature by a few years so it makes sense they would want to date boys a few years older. Women who date at the 10+ year age gap are the minority so it's not representative of women in general. About 8% of couples have a 10+ year age gap and that includes those where the women is older. So basically your post is taking less th…

So now you're saying that women 17-25 don't see themselves at the maturity level of a man 30+ but of a man 2-3 years older than her? In that case girls do develop physically, mentally and emotionally before boys and tend to sit about 2 years ahead of boys from puberty until early 20s. So it would make sense if most girls are +2 years they look for a boy +2 years older to date. Also this is ignoring the fact that women don't just decide on a man, both sides have to agree to date, and men are happ…

women who are in their late teens or twenties will actually view themselves as on the same level as a 30+ year old men You think the majority of 18 year old girls are trying to date 30+ year old men? men are far easier I mean if you take the average probably, only really because the average man doesn't have standards or self respect anymore. women still don't seem to get it right often If she isn't pleasing you she isn't into you. Women will go to the ends of the earth for a man they deem worthy. She's not doing this, next her and find someone else. Can't find someone else, make yourself better until you can.

Whilst I agree it’s unlikely they’ll do it in the street, a gym/work/college? This is kinda my original point though, men who women want approaching them aren't doing it to random women in the street. /r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 12:41 PM

Men worth a damn won't approach on the street when you're just trying to get home from work or doing the grocery shopping because that's rude and could even be creepy. Men who are worth the time will know to approach in a more relaxed social setting and will have a different demeanour as to not come off as threatening or creepy. There's a fine line between good approaching and bad approaching and it really all comes down to social skills.

I get you and that would make sense but I have lived all my life in suburban Australia and have been hit on almost every time I leave the house since I was 13. I've also been clubbing all of once in my life so those are not areas I frequent. It isn't so much about the culture as it is that men who lack social skills from being chronically online tend to follow PUA advice and do weird things like this.

Physically men have to be attractive enough for the woman to sleep with and he has a chance. Just because she may prefer to sleep with a 7 doesn't mean that she's contradicting herself when she sleeps with a 5, it means she was always willing to sleep with a 5.

they will seek out the top prospects and if they can’t get them, they simply won’t date I've never seen an ugly women date an extremely attractive or successful man, but I know plenty of ugly women who date. So I guess this could be true if you want to drastically redefine "top prospects" men however seek out the women that’s giving them the most attention and cooperation Then why have I so often had men I've not even noticed existing approch me and hit on me? Why are there so many women complai…

women are full of contradictions Well this is true for me but for most of the time people will contradict themselves because they don't want to admit the truth outloud. When you realise their true motives people are fairly consistent, even women.

Basically yeah, man can look like shit and still be attractive to a lot of women. A lot of men here blame the fact that they're not getting laid on their looks because they prioritise looks without ever realising that their shitty personality may be to blame.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/21 02:41 AM

Also no one gets jealous when their friend gets a boyfriend. Maybe if that "friend" is really an enemy, but probably not even then. This does happen, I have experanced it.

Probably both
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/21 10:22 PM

I am a woman, I have female friends who like to talk about their sex lives, I can 100% tell you that what you do matters. Obviously it matters more if the woman is looking for a relationship, and less if she is looking to get laid but it always matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/21 10:19 PM

I know some extremely slutty women who are proud of their behaviour and I am still yet to hear anyone who has actually done anything like this.

Not really, women watch the actions of men they're interested in even if they aren't concious of it. It's not just about be attractive, it's be attractive and do things that make her wet.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/21 10:11 PM

If someone conciders you fuck ugly it doesn't matter how great your personality is they won't want to fuck you. If they concider you attractive enough to sleep with your actions matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/21 10:52 AM
1

So your theory is that people decide ahead of time not to like you, BEFORE they even meet you and this is why you cannot have friends or get laid. Stop rationalising and learn how to talk to other humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/21 10:41 AM

I honestly don't know why you are having this experience, but it's not universal. Are you in a relationship? If so how long? Are you sleeping with the same person? Having a lot on one night stands?

Have you ever dated a shorter guy? Do you have any prejudice? Never dated a guy who's shorter than me. I probably wouldn't, seeing as the only males I've met who are shorter than me are under 14.

You're confusing confidence with areas of competence. I am compitant in management accounting and confident in my ability to do so, but when it comes to a cars engine I am near totally incompetent and have no confidence in my ability, but if I thought I knew everything while barely being able to distinguish coolant from oil I would have false confidence. Your son is 4, he isn't a "mummy's boy" he's 4. Don't punnish your son for having an attachment to his mother. As your son grows up he should take on more and more independence, starting out with being able to play with his peers without needing to check mum is still there, going to kindy and school without feeling abandoned, wanting to spend more time with his friends etc. The problem with children arises when this independence doesn't happen, mostly this is because parents (mostly mothers) don…

No, sex is important to maintaining closeness in a relationship. Even ignoring the fact that not having the desire to have sex makes your partner feel rejected and undesired, it's a form of bonding that you only do with your partner and without it you're just people who chose to be codependent.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/21 11:07 PM

You can rationalise away the actions of both sides of the situation but at the end of the day if you don't agree with the situation it's on you not to feed into it. Both sides complain about the arrangement and still participate expecting the other to put an end to it, just take responsibility for yourselves kids.

When we first met I got that feeling like "oh this guy is different, I like him" all the basic stuff when you meet a guy you really like being upset when someone messages and it's not him etc. I realise one of the big reasons for the initial attraction was that he teased me not in a way that made me self conscious or upset me but in a way that made me aware of the fact that he noticed me and made me want to impress him. Buddy i dont know who you think your arguing with but I ain't no "rrrreeeeeee equality" feminist. I do not support the idea that women cannot be rapists, nor that men cannot be raped. Maybe it has something to do with the definition of rape and that a woman can't rape a man. First off, change is rare and slow, this is even more true when talking about society wide changes. The definition does not make things right or wrong. Secondly, the gender of the victim says nothing about the gender of the perpetrator. Odd that those who face the worst rape (physically damaging), also have the least resources. I would say the most damaging form of rape (physically and mentally) is prolon…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/21 09:36 AM

The fact that women are offered more support has more to do with societies perceptions of the genders than how they deal with the trama of rape. As to who is more traumatised, it would be the people whose rape most severely impacted them, nothing to do with gender. Someone who was raped as a child, experienced frequent abuse, or particularly violent abuse is going to be severely traumatised by that.

Came on buddy, reading comprehension is taught to 8 year olds. Neurotocism is a trait of humans. The fact that a trait is skewed towards woman =/= it only affects women or that all women have that trait. People can't just wake up one morning and decided they want a different personality =/= humans are biologically programmed and there is nothing they can do about it. Neurotocism is a personality trait characterised by greater likeliness of experiencing emotions such as fear, worry, anger, guilt,…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/20 01:09 AM
1

People can choose their level of neurotocism about as much as they can choose their level of extraversion. Also your analogy is flawed at best. The chances of falling when laying on the ground is negligible, the chances of something bad happening in an admittedly safe society is real. Just Look at the crime statistics for whatever area you live in, yeah the chance of you being assaulted may be low in comparison to the chance historically but that does not make it negligible.

Women don't "attract" men like they're bating a fish. Women have qualities that are attractive, some more than others. This isn't at all abnormal, and honestly I was surprised with how light the stuff she talked about was. I'm not even particularly attractive and have copped way worse than the things she talks about.

All women want is to share a trash man with their bff. We're not competitive at all and even refer to the other hoes as sisters. Not in a sibling way, in a cock sisters way, which is actually a stronger bond.

There are some good things if you look deep enough. The idea of having self respect, boundaries, and not seeking validation or whoring yourself out for attention. The amount of pure aggression kills that though. If someone need to bring others down to prop themself up you need to better themselves. I get venting and getting out pain, I just think surrounding yourself with people who sit in their own jaded fury makes it too easy to believe that's normal and acceptable. I would never send a woman …

Why seek the validation externally, especially for how you look? 50% of women are average or higher, it's not an achievement. Making some randoms on the internet hard, also not an achievement. I get people don't want to be rejected. The argument isn't about ability but legal requirement. The argument that people should legally be required to do something they are not physically capable of is retarded. revert to swearing and demeaning others That's a cultural norm, not everywhere do people freek out over a word. you think You'll know what i think when your reading comprehension is greater than a 2 year old.

Women basically live on attention and validation so to you saying women are better off being incels is hilariously out of touch with reality. Also crack heads need crack, don't mean they wouldn't be better off if they dealt with their problems other ways.

More a personal responsibility argument. The potential consiquences are pretty clear with sex, people who can't see that are too low iq to do the thing. I don't think men should be able to force a woman to have an abortion nor that women should be able to have an abortion if the man wants the kid (i mean so long as there are no complications where that may be necessary). Everyone takes the risk when having sex, a controlled risk is still a risk so people choose their consiquences. I am anti abor…

I answered what you wrote directly. Equality means women = men. This is false. Therefore you cannot expect women to do the same things as men and vice versa. No, most of us aren’t saying that a woman is perceived as urcella instead of ariel the second she turns thirty This. The wall isn't waking up one day with the face of an 82 year old and your tits resting on your knees. It's about aging, no longer being the hot 22 year old who's the center of attention, and fertility declining. There are hot 45 year olds, there are no young 45 year olds. In that case, yes men like attractive women, exactly the same as women like attractive men. Some men are willing to associate with an asshole of a woman so long as she is hot just so he can bang her, just like some women are willing to date horrible old men for their money. It's a small pool and you can't claim all men do from the behavior of a few.

I think you overestimate young sluts. Most young women are told they shouldn't want marriage until they are post 30, and are spoon fed the "don't settle down" narrative. I think what your seeing is more repetition of talking points rather than their own rationalising. Regardless the whole thing is just women who are too weak willed and idiotic to understand that letting that guy at the club pound them has consiquences. Dumb people should be shut up, or the stupidity will spread.

Marriage is a legal contract. Its ment to bind you to someone for the rest of your life, as well as having duties to him (and him to me) above and beyond that of someone your dating. Yes I want to get married, I would not consider investing in someone if that was off the table.

A few things that hopefully will help you, or someone else dealing with issues with boundaries. Work on your self confidence it takes time but the more you have the more you are able to look out for yourself. Small things like forcing yourself to say 2/3 good things about yourself, or just reminding yourself that you are a valuable person every time you hear that voice pop into your head can incrementally improve your confidence. I kind of feel this weird confusion every time people say that people my age grew up wrapped in bubble wrap. I just grew up in time and place that had better drugs and more contraception than either of my parents.

Yes. I would rather be a woman who is exposed to that because at least I would be a woman, I think I just see a lot in femininity and the ability to produce children.

More so men offer a buffer to the most brutal parts of life and allow your weaknesses. I'm not saying this from a naive perspective, I know how easy it is to become a victim as a woman but the benefits are well worth it. Women don't want sex the way a man does With a record number of men now involuntarily celibate They're incels because women don't WANT to have sex with them. You can claim it's "unsafe", but there's options to mitigate that. Women are biologically programmed to see sex as a risk, because well it is. There is a (much) higher penalty for pregnancy, it's more likely for a woman to contract an std from a man than the other way around, and there's the physical size difference. some will only meet at …

Honestly all of these rules are a load of shit. 3 months can be long enough when two people genuinely are trying to see if they are compatible and want the same things, or it could be nothing to a guy who has 4 others putting out on demand. Since when do women support eachother? Female social dynamics are complicated and a compliment isn't always a compliment, women are excellent at social warfare. Looking out for a random chick comes from the fact that women know their inherent disadvantage and a lot of us will "feel" it when another woman is in a risky situation, it's sort of a combination of neurotocism and empathy. When talking about the "you go girl" crap in the media I think most of the women who engage in this are looking to…

I have a similar thing with gifts, the only way my dad knew how to show love was by giving things or money but the rest of my family would kind of buy people off with money. To this day I can only accept gifts from my dad, I can't even let a guy pay for a date without feeling like I owe something.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/19 11:07 AM

are there also ways in which they get women's attention? Women look for men who are useful, being able to achieve status is a way of proving that you're useful. A man who is respected by other men has earned that by being able to do something. Women can recognise that. do men usually have silent competition in social settings to impress the woman? I would imagine at least some do, you'd have to ask a guy honestly.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/19 12:35 PM

Is it obvious which dudes are alpha and which ones play a beta role? Yes, humans in general will quickly sort themselves into hierarchies when put into a social setting. The men who are higher to the top may or may not do a lot of talking but he will be shown respect by others whenever he opens his mouth.

I never said anything about hate. I stated a thing I heard once years ago about why men fear rejection because your post reminded me of it. That's what kids do because they're too young to understand gray areas. As we get older we learn that there's no such thing as pure good and pure evil. I mean if that's a discussion you wanna have I'm down, but please don't project something I didn't say and don't believe onto me.

Sounds a bit like Freud's Oedipus complex. Rejection from women only reminds him of the days when a woman's attention was the difference between life and death This reminds me of something I heard once but never really put enough effort into assessing the idea. /r/PurplePillDebate13/10/19 08:07 AM

Rape is the only way to remove the sexual choice of women. Women select, that's how we evolved so unless someone is working on a way to change biology TRP doesn't have an agenda in this regard.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/19 08:03 AM

You're correct, but not many people actually get the concept. If your married you don't get to leave, that's why you choose carefully then make that shit legal. The thing is divorce has ruined it because it offers an escape.

Calm your tits guys it's not a contest of "what's the better sex" Incels won't "stomp out" anything, the men women want to sleep with are at the top of hierarchies those men have no allegiance to men at the bottom and have no reason to help them. The men who are at the top or even the middle of hierarchies are already getting what they want, why the fuck would they mess with the people who are providing that for some loser?

Are they? Or do they just expect from society? I honestly see no difference in the attitude of an incel to that of a slut who got knocked up. One wants free sex the other wants free resources, both can start contributing or pull their head out of their ass.

Anyone who doesn't have solid long term goals is wasting their time, but the goals of women and men should be different yet compatible. The difference reflects the fact that we have a different focus in life. Either that or you're just not around women who have their head screwed on.

You're right but I don't think 17-22 year olds for the most part are even capable of commitment, at least not long term. Whereas women at that age used to be able to think about the long term, now they seem to only think in terms of months. I don't just mean in terms of relationships either, all their plans, goals etc. are max 12 months, at least from what I've seen.

When I say be elsewhere I don't mean move, I mean be in the social settings the sort of men you want will be. I find it really hard to believe that there are just no men between 25 and 35 who are stable around you. Keep your expectations in check, if you aren't getting what you want then you're expecting something you can not realistically achieve. Either lower your standards or be better.

If you are finding men who you want to be with but aren't getting anywhere; they are not interested in you, be better. If you can't find the men you want at all; you're in the wrong places, be elsewhere.

I know I'm a bit out of the loop now but since when was TRP about men marrying an 18 year old? Sleep with sure, but most 18 year olds are too immature to make a commitment and men know that.

God no I would not give up being a woman for anything. I mean, I can literally grow a god damn human inside me. Yeah emotions can be intense sometimes but if you just learn how to deal with them they are pretty damn amazing. People are automatically nice to me just because I'm small and and female I get people so much more than any man I've ever met, women's brains are wired more socially if you learn how to use that there is so much you can learn about people. because of the above, it's easier …

Weight/ bmi is not a great indicator of health so if your saying you are underweight based on that you may need to concider if you have a smaller frame. If you haven't already I would reccomend seeing a personal trainer/ physio especially as you already know you have scoliosis, you don't want to do more damage when you start working out. If you are underweight then your best bet is to talk to a PT and a nutritionist as you'll probably need to up your caloric intake in line with the extra exersis…

I'll also add the charities that are actually on the ground helping people are more likely to take usable items that can go straight to those in need. Charity shops mostly resell donations to raise money for the cause so they reject anything that costs too much to resell (storage, time etc costs them). Animal shelters will take old blankets and towels and sometimes radios (they help the animals feel less lonely and anxious). Local churches usually have someone in the community they are helping o…

As someone who did leave the workforce prior to marriage and then had the relationship end I can 100% agree with everything you've said here. My ex did support me for a while once the relationship had ended and made very sure I was well taken care of as I had left work for his benefit but I truely believe my case was one in a million and anyone who does this is extremely vulnerable.

being domineering is more of a masculine energy, since it strives to influence the direction. Being warm and trusting is more of a feminine energy, so you could phrase it as "balancing out" her energies instead of outright saying she is being unattractive in her fundamental behavior. Also to describe how to attract a masculine man, in order to do so she should display more feminine energy as this is complementary to her desired mate's energy. This made me giggle but it would totally work on so m…

I agree with this in a practical sence. Everyone should know how to take care of themselves regardless of gender. I do think I would raise children differently in the sence that boys and girls are innately capable of different things and are best to function in society baised off these innate differences. I can see how your situation impacted you but be cautious of going too far in the opposite direction. I feel like my upbringing was the opposite of yours, my father encouraged a lot of masculin…

I will be more likely to directly challenge them or mock them because puffing up their chests as some do when trying to prove how alpha they are registers as lack of true confidence and poor leadership ability. I would venture to say these men are more playing alpha than they are men who truely have many alpha traits. Women are fairly adept at spotting "fake it 'till you make it" confidence.

Petticoats aren't necessarily supposed to be visable but can be used to contrast the dress especially if you want to play with different colours. However it should always run the length of the dress to avoid awkward drape.

I'm HH too (and ENTJ!) I have the same problem with feeling like the more mentally strong one. Honestly I have moments where I start to lose hope and have to actively stop these thoughts. I have to admire this girls mentally. Although it is possible to dress feminine and modestly while also looking a little more modern. I will add that in my experience once you dig a little deeper than "it's liberating to show off your skin" most women who dress or act provocatively will admit (to some extent) that they are doing it for either acceptance with the women around them or in order to gain validation.

I'm most certainly not saying it's impossible, I have helped couples be able to live off one wage and have done so with my exfiance in order for him to set up his business without having to worry about housekeeping and cooking. I am however saying it is naieve to think being a housewife is going to in any way help solve problems like taxation (one of the things mentioned by op) or that there will never be issues relating to money if you just live simply.

Having helped couples find ways to afford living off one income as well as see families realise what they would be giving up, I can tell you how difficult those sacrifices can be. I agree with u/tommyetw about tea/ dessert after dinner so you can end the night officially. I'll also add some things I do when dating. Always know how the date will end; how you will get home and roughly what time. This way you can make sure you get home safely and don't end up spending the night before you are ready (obviously this will change when in a committed relationship). I live in a country where you can defer higher education debts, but they are by no means cheap and you do have to pay eventually. I think I feel a bit stuck because when I first started reading all the comments were new and exciting, it was great to finally be able to hear advice from women who actually know how to make relationships work and shared my values. After being here for 3 years I still feel like I need to listen to ladies more experienced than my…

This was never an issue, you said yourself that he was not bothered. Women can be catty, especially in the workplace, of he was single he would be getting flack about being a "player" (regardless of his actions). It's likely he told you about this so that you don't don't find out later and think there is a problem. Tell him they are probably jealous they don't have a sexy man of their own and drop it.

I think they just like to claim they are an hour glass shape because deep down they know overweight isn't attractive, but at the same time don't have the self control to put down the cake and get to the gym.

Men liking curves means there should be several of them (like in an hour glass), not just one like in an apple. People delude themself into thinking that an hour glass shape is only achieved when a woman is overweight. No one seems to accept that a woman can have a perfect hour glass shape and be 100 lb or less. And was that just my phone screen or is white font on a light grey background not the greatest choice? Dear god, that was driving me crazy.

It's very interesting when I hear people talk about separate bedrooms, mainly because I couldn't do it. My fiancé runs a bakery so he is up at all hours of the night, while I work 9 to 5. Although he doesn't like to talk about it he has mentioned he doesn't like going to sleep before me, and if he goes to work before my bed time I have a lot of trouble sleeping (noises sound a lot more creepy when he is not laying next to me). For us being able to have some cuddles in bed is well worth the risk …

My work has been crazy lately as my responsibilities have increased. Thankfully I have a wonderful friend at work who is helping me out until my boss gets back and we can reassess the more menial tasks that are taking up sooo much of my time. My man has seen the amount of stress work has been causing me and has picked up a lot of the slack at home - I am absolutely greatful for this but I can't help feeling guilty when I come home and my jobs around the house have been taken care of. My goals fo…

You may look 23, you may get told you look 23. Honestly saying that doesn't make any difference to the advice you will get here. You are over 30, time is not on your side. I believe I can bring a hell of a lot to the table. You need to assess if what you have is enough for a man to commit to you. You are comparing every man to the illusion of your ex. No man will measure up to some perfect idea of a man you once dated (no not even your ex). And I'm yet to meet a man who would be happy to marry a…

You are 31, don't give us that I look 23 shit. The wall in comming for you and your looks are fading. I'd bet your SO can get a girl who is 23 and actually wants to be with him, but you act like you are doing him a favor by being with him? Let him be with someone who does want him. You've been alpha windowed by this LOML guy. If you want any chance at a relationship you need to get over him and be realistic about your options. You know you can't have the perfect man but you don't seem to have in…

Guests are temporary, A is not and I don't want to treat him like he is. I agree with what you said. The analogy might be a nice reminder to some people, but I really feel that taking a few seconds to remember gratitude toward my mr is going to get rid of any angry feelings.

The answer to this really depends on your relationship with your sister. If I were in your situation I'd have said something as soon as I saw her behavior but my sister and I can say anything to eachother and any anger will last at most a day before an embarrassed apology. That said I know many people who could cause more problems by speaking up in this situation. It all really depends on if you think your sister will listen to you.

At whatever age she is in a committed long term relationship with a man who she can seriously see herself with for the rest of her life. For my sister-in-law that was 15 (she's now 26 an has only been with her husband), for others it may not be until their 20's. But at the end of the day the exact age isn't so much as important as the criteria a woman has for her sexual partners.

The good: Less than 2 weeks now until we move into our new place! Most of the planning has been passed onto me as Mr is in the middle of a busy season at work (poor planning on our part I know). I feel I'm doing quite well with this and have made up a file with all the info so he doesn't have to chase me down if he wants to know anything or change any plans I've made. I'm super excited to have more space and glad we will finally have enough space for him to have a mancave :D The bad: I was stres…

Personally I loved it when my sister took the baby for an hour or two so I could do all the mundane shit myself. It made me feel normal lol On the same tangent, you could offer to take bub so mum and dad can have a little time together. I don't have children myself (yet) but I know a few parents who have forgotten about their time together when the baby came along and struggle to reconnect when they realise the relationship is suffering.

I trust my partner. I hate when people say this regarding contraseption. I'd trust my man with my life, that doesn't mean he has control over whether I get pregnant (I'm assuming you've only slept with your current partner and he is faithful, so STIs are not a problem). To your question, I can't tell you what will and will not work for you but there are a few things you should keep in mind. First there are a lot of different forms of contraseption, you're not limited to the pill or condoms. Do s…

Eh, still... The point I was trying to make was that this guy you'd jump in bed with because he's so attractive may become a jerk in the morning. And just trying to stay away from obvious jerks/overly attractive guys that you know you can't control yourself around isn't enough to protect yourself from Chad. No matter how attractive he is or how much he gets your motor running, a high value woman doesn't jump into bed without a commitment. That is really the only way of protecting yourself from b…

I read the 6 Things You Might Not Know About Matriarchal Marriage post... funny how it's seems a great idea not to allow men to own property or inherent money, but if someone suggested the same for women there would be an endless shit storm.

The Good; The past few weeks have been a bit of challenge with an overloaded work schedule. This past week I set myself the challenge to put work away once I get home and focous on the house and my man, I'm happy to say that I have been able to keep on top of most of the cleaning and spend time with my man without stressing him out by running off the lists of things I still feel I need to accomplish. The Bad and The Ugly; To cut a long story short my brother-in-laws little brother was trying to …

Interesting post, I'm waiting to see a follow up on how you would rank dominance. Trying to put my finger on my own level of dominance is making my head hurt. My fiancé I'd say is a bit more straightforward and I'd put him down as high dominance - it makes me think as women often can be more flexible with their level of dominance, it would be more difficult to rank dominance for women?

Do you have a realistic household budget? And do both know were the money is suppose to go? Did he mess up or did the two of you not have a working system. Your husband may be the one in charge of the finances but if he doesn't know how much you're spending on groceries or personal care no budget will work. It would also be a benefit for you to at least have a rough idea of how much things cost, that way you can take the rains if his attention needs to be elsewhere. Most missing money goes into …

That stuck feeling, the loss of passion can be a symptom of depression, is there a chance that you're expecting too much too fast? I think the best suggestion would be to talk about this with a counselor, especially if you are still seeing the same one that saw you through the most of your recovery, they will have a better idea of where you are at and what a realistic expectation is. Other than that you could always look into the things your friends, family and SO are passionate about. Who knows…

You can put together a nice slow cooker meal, I do this for my man and all he has to do is grab a plate and eat. A hot meal, a beer and a comfortable chair is better to a man than having to run about doing things. You could also put together a basket of snack foods /drinks he likes. You don't want him going hungry or having to run to the store.

I'm also not married yet, my man and I got engaged a year and a half ago and have not yet set a date because we both feel so strongly about divorce. I originally brought up it up because I want to be 100% sure that we were on the same page. I have no doubt that we will get married and stay that way but out of respect for eachother and our families we agreed to check off a few things (such as seeking councilling from an older married couple, living together beforehand, getting our parents blessin…

I just wanted to add the flip side to what u/freebumblebee said about using lube, if you are getting weird reactions like burning or tingling you could be allergic to some of the ingredients. Also along the lines of what some other ladies were saying, sex for women is mostly mindset. So communicate to your husband what turns you on and be sure to make time to relax when you're going to be intimate.

I suppose it could mostly be avoided by using low fat sausage, I know the butcher I use does really good low fat meats with almost no preservatives - only thing is it has to be used straight away or frozen.

If theres a place nearby that delivers soup that would be good, it's not home made but it will still mean he doesn't have to make dinner. You could also look into sending a care package with a cute note, some herbal tea and a hot water bottle. Nothing you can do will be as good as being physically around but you can send him a reminder to take care of himself and let him know you care.

I find many of my coworkers assume a negative response is normal "it's such a horrible rainy day, don't we all get so miserable and sluggish on days like this". It's hard to respond by saying I love to to watch a storm. Even if it's not said outright it's often implied that the negative response is natural.
