I'ld say it has something to do with: "I need to get myself into more awkward situations so that I can understand what those guys at /r/seduction are talking about" and "I need to put myself in more situations where I could get rejected"" You get the experience and then you gradually develop the finely tuned sense from that experience

Those are inspiring to say the least. I'm still subconscious about the swelling, today is meant to be the worst day for it and hopefully it should start to go down. Once that is done I want to get out there stitches or no stitches!

Thanks, i really needed to see this perspective instead of the negative spiral my mind was going through. I'm keen to get these stitches out in a week and get back out there!
