If this was true men would select for taller women because the height of offspring is also determined by the height of the mother. I don't think evolution plays a significant factor here. 1	People Are Dating All Wrong, According to Data Science Yes this is very obvious. The fact that you are in a relationship with someone in the first place means you are already satisfied with their attractiveness, height etc. so these won't impact happiness.
