Chasing me from a different post to here? You are really invested! I am far left. I believe in equality, in workers owning the means of production, in freedom of expression. Demonizing men is not that same as being liberal, contrary to woke culture.

Monetize the photos. Make them available for purchase (under a "stage name", rather than your real name) at an absurdly high price that nobody is going to pay. Then you can threaten to sue the other person for lost income if they expose the pictures. Or you could get a lawyer and go after the person for extortion.

This is complicated, because I feel that there should be a new word for modern feminists. My grandma was a feminist, who built warships in WW2. She wanted equality, but was not arguing that women were the same as men...but better. I support the ideals of early feminism, but would not call myself a feminist, because today it simultaneously means female supremacist, eternal female victimhood, and all mean are evil. Males who consider themselves as modern feminists conditioned to be "woke", and we …

Shame on that teacher. As for the girl, it sounds like these kids were pretty young at the time, and young kids are both curious and lacking in concept of boundaries. I think that a stern talking to would have been in order. I'm not white knighting here. If the genders were reversed, and they were young kids, a stern talking to, would be the appropriate response for the boy. The teacher was wrong to write it off as an accident.

I have no sympathy for that man. None. I hope his son is doing well and has positive male influences in his life.

I’m sorry to hear that. Good on you for believing in love and putting in the effort! I see your spelling of “internalise”; I assume you live outside the US. The laws may be different in your location.

Good question, I’m glad you asked! Keeping essentials at a partner’s house, has been used to argue cohabitation. This has allowed many people to fall victim to financially predatory lawsuits in the event of a breakup. Yes, it is unlikely in the extreme, but until the courts begin showing less bias in favor of the female in heterosexual relationships, I’m going to pass. If it ends a relationship, that’d be unfortunate, but there are plenty of fish in the sea.

I listened well enough to respond to each of your points, but you didn't listen well enough to notice. I do most of my own construction work; I already own a home, and my work is up to code (add dealing with permits to the list of tasks). Yes, people call professional builders, they also hire housekeepers, which is why there is a word for it and why that industry employs nearly 800k people in the US according the the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Listening doesn't mean blindly submitting to you op…

Anyone who has had to dig and pour a foundation, had to do plumbing, had to do roofing, can tell you that it is not fun. And if fun and creativity turns a chore into recreation, then you can take cooking off the chore list. I've always been the cook in my relationships, because it's fun. I've always washed the dishes because the warm water is relaxing. The main thing I'm getting here, is that men aren't contributing because they enjoy their contributions. Aside from the section where you again a…

I think I'll be Going My Own Way. Long term dating? Cool She wants to leave a change of clothes at my house? Nope, too far

We've reached a level of common ground as you've agreed with half the point of my original comment, that the article isn't including enough data for it's broad claims. However, while the article excludes some tasks that society traditionally places in the female sphere, it utterly neglects all tasks that society traditionally places in the male sphere; the bias is glaring. In regard to the additional tasks that you mentioned, I would strongly disagree. Taking care of aging parents seems to depen…

It would be moot if the the article said that men didn't help at all with dishes, laundry, childcare, and meal prep, but the article didn't say that; it said they did approximately 31-43% of those specific tasks. Read the article first, then I'd be happy to have a productive conversation with you.

Brother, my heart breaks for you. Good on you for sacrificing everything for your daughter! Personally, once your daughter is grown, I would ditch the succubus. I was trying to be understanding, up until you had to work twelve hours AND THEN HAD TO DO THE HOUSEWORK! If either partner is a "stay at home", they are responsible for that work. Then the post just got worse and worse. You had no agency in your own life. I'm sorry to rag on her, because it sounds like you are putting in a lot of effort…

I'm not making accusations here, I'm just mentioning relavent information that isn't mentioned in the article. I wonder if the following were figured into the "unpaid housework": Mowing the lawn Home repairs and upgrades Maintaining the vehicles etc I also wonder if the women are paying for the supplies involved in the housework they do, because I'm fairly confident that they aren't paying for the tools and parts involved in repairs and maintenance. The article lacks too much detail to be taken …

I just tested, and was able to post to r/offmychest, guess they haven't updated their hate list in a few days. Still can't post in r/unpopularopinion though...

Hold up. It was intentional, but only manslaughter? Intentional but not premeditated = 2nd Degree Murder And that fake crying with the smooth rocking, rather than shaking... Sentence has been passed, your act isn't accomplishing a thing.

Could work…but it could be kicking a hornet’s nest. Might make her lose composure though..so actually, not a bad idea. OP knows her and her fam best, and which way it’ll shake out.

Also, hold onto the evidence. She might stir the pot someday in order to get attention. Probably around the time she hits the wall. She will then want sympathy and her interpretation of the story will come out.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I really want what's best for you. Don't go to the police. Just run. You are 100% in the right, but she is an Instagram model. The court of public opinion will tear you apart before you even have a chance to make to the Court of Female Justice. Sun Tzu and countless other tacticians warned us not to fight unless victory was assured. In that respect, you wouldn't even be a loser or victim, you would be that savvy MF who got out early. On the flip side…

When people return to the office, I think I’ll just wear shorts and T-shirts instead of slacks, shirt and tie. “Hey I couldn’t afford work attire”

Good news is: she was sentenced to a year and one day in prison Bad news is: it was for bankruptcy fraud. The system doesn't care about her sexual misconduct.

University graduation rates in the US are 40% men, 60% women. Clearly we need MORE scholarships to help incentivize more women to pursue degrees and close the gap. Equality would be 20% to 80%, right?

You don't have to be a feminist, but it could be a good idea to stay silent on the issue around women, at least until you have established yourself. Or you can calmly use your MRA views to stand out, if you have the confidence and the temperament to be unfazed by gaslighting. As for marriage, my personal opinion is to not think about it and just pursue your own goals. If you find a woman that wants to join your journey and is a complement to your life, rather than the focus of it, then it's a co…
