You have a point there, however, my son's father grew up in a 2 parent home with a father who worked hard and provided for his family. You were very lucky. I have always tried to do this with my older son's father. He has never helped me much, but denying him access to our son would just hurt the kid in the long run. You shouldn't have to pay $ to see your own child.
