What about women who didn't live in California but were previously believed to be male and subject to the selective service?

I've seen has been a single tubby BPD woman surrounded by desperate, gangly, nerdy men with Zelda tattoos who get nothing out of the deal besides the right to say they have a girlfriend. This is what happens a lot. Right now I have one female partner plus one genderfluid and one female partner I'm seeing and hopeful about relationships with. All four of us happen to be nerdy. 😁 But if I can't make sure they're getting something out of it, that being in a relationship with me is making their life…

First off, having access to a sexual partner is not a mens right issue. Much of sex-positive feminism holds that women are entitled to near any man they want... And nobody yells about this being fringe.

Women don't owe men anything. And men don't owe men anything either. I'd honestly love to see a few hundred million men go MGTOW to see if feminists change their tune about this, though.

Traditional polygamy, by definition, is rooted in privliege- the specific privliege that the top 1% of so of men have that feminists use to scream that all men are privlieged.

both men and women are having relationships with multiple other men and women So to be clear, what I meant about ENM potentially exacerbating male loneliness was that it is generally easier for women to find partners outside their relationships- leaving a potential for men to resent and be jealous of their female partners if they go in under the understandable assumption they'll be able to explore just as much outside the relationship. (This can be alleviated by negotiating boundaries, but not e…

I mean, you're not wrong, but the dating and empathy gaps are very real issues and misandry is institutionalized and all kind of interconnected.

as in real women might also use AI boyfriends, also getting things that few real men are prepared to offer. Usually, women expect to date men who have more financial means than them and spend more money on them than they spend. An AI will not pay you to use it. Also, why would they have to do that when virtually any cis woman can get a man?

Just here to express a bit of support. ♥

I am very ENM and also would never discourage criticizing it. Without going into detail in my personal life- I work very hard to be conscious of what it can do to society and work to do my part about the male loneliness problem. It's admittedly difficult when there's so many men who deserve to not be lonely and so few of me. The reason people are afraid to criticize it is because throughout history, there have been an awful lot of stigmas and even laws against things done by consenting adults th…

It's profoundly callous to me that the supposed solution to men's loneliness is throwing AI at them instead of bringing people together. It's less a solution and more a band-aid. Scraps when you're starving can auto be a godsend. And the men who see this and opt out or those who choose to find comfort in an AI are shamed as well. By and on behalf of women. Just like we used to with spinsters in Ye Olden Days. To be left alone? Clearly not, given the trumped up criticism of sex bots and AI girlfr…

ENM is not an issue. The problem is that women have the social privliege more to benefit from it more than men because men as a collective tolerate more, and ENM amplifies that. As a woman with that privliege, I work very hard to be conscious in how I practice ENM so as not to worsen that inequality.

Yeah, but the pressure of real men leaving the dating market will effect the real women in the dating market as the supply of men is drained. As a woman who does like men, I absolutely and fully support this.

AI could be a godsend to help partially fill that gap. On the other hand, men who use AI to fill in that gap are only going to be shamed more, and when it comes to misandry, I've learned to fear the worst. If no real person wants to do everything an AI partner will do... If real women won't even measure up to AI, then something is very wrong with how deeply society has conditioned women to make minimal effort. EDIT: After a look at your profile, wow I'm impressed by your work. ♥

I hate women for rejecting me and treating me like trash. I hate the fact that they are indifferent to me and seemingly i have to be rejected over and over again to prove I'm worthy of one. I hate seeing them with other people while I have no one. I hate the fact that people wanna blame me for everything while women do nothing and reject me. I find them to be absolutely abhorrent. And yet if men systemically treated women like this, there would be riots. And anyone who plays a part in a systemic…

Why would you help someone when they could so easily turn it around against you and have the privliege of society believing pretty much anything they say?. Harsh as it is to say, you have to care for yourself first.

When feminists describe someone as an ally, it seems they are saying that their role is to support feminism from the sidelines. Like the ally is not supposed to take center stage and appear to be heroic, the role of hero is reserved for women activists, and the ally is not supposed to steal their thunder. My intent in using similar terms for men's rights as I have for LGBT rights in the past was to say "actually yes, misandry is in the same category of wrongs as transphobia and you are being opp…

It can actually rub me the wrong way when a trans person uses a certain rhetoric that makes it sound they are an objective moral authority, where a cisman’s experience is only valid when a trans person shows up to say “As a trans person I agree with this”. This. This is perfect and exactly what I need to remind myself of. I'm not a man, and although I can be an ally, I will never have the cisgender male experience. What would be a good way to say "Actually yes, know what a lot of men's issues ar…

So just wanting everyone's $0.02 cents here... As a trans woman (who presented male and experienced men's social issues firsthand most of her life), what are things I can do to support men's issues besides just generally being aware (for example, taking male DV and SA survivors seriously when I interact with them?) It feels like when I try to draw on my own experience to put myself in cis men's shoes to empathize and support them, half the time I'm told I'm not really a woman.

Finland, a "gender equal" country that automatically exempts one gender from that responsibility. I can’t imagine living with that level of cognitive dissonance... It's almost as bad in the US...

Feminism began as a justifiable backlash against some of the ways that cishet men were historically privlieged. Since the original goals of feminism (first and second wave feminism) have been near universally accomplished in the western world, modern feminists and their enablers are just seeing how far they can push this now. The parts of mainstream modern feminism that make sense, like LGBT rights and acceptance, while noble, have gotten so far from the idea of feminism that the label "feminism…

I am continually dismayed when men I encounter are shocked when I ask their consent for things.

It is completely unreasonable to expect men to respect consent and boundaries without first respecting men's consent and boundaries.

If a man did this to his abusive mother, I'd think she brought it upon herself. (Yes that's a controversial statement. I stand by it.) Fuck the lack of empathy for men. She abused the man she manipulated into killing her.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates19/01/24 10:35 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
