Not sure why you are getting downvoted on what is the opposite of a very feminist take. Abortion is definitely a strong feminist belief, so much so that a good portion of them brag about it. I don’t agree with abortion for many reasons. It is murder in my eyes as well. Sadly many don’t see the unborn as anything precious, like we do.

God help their husbands. I hope they are lying about it. I can’t see any healthy relationship from one with so much hate and disdain for the very person they are supposedly in love with and possibly have children with. Holy hell.

It made me laugh, I found it light hearted wholesome. As a kid I got my dad either a silly toolset or fishing tackle and my mom got some seriously god awful jewellery. It’s good memories but makes me laugh at my poor parents pretending to love what I got them.

I don’t know why this meme is seen as a negative. My husband calls them “life skills”. He is surprised by the things some people can’t fix. I never had thought about it before but knowing how to do basics around the house not only saves money but it’s handy to have. I’ve learned things from him that I was never taught. It feels good to be able to take care of your house and such without always having to call someone to fix it. He loses his tools all the damn time so getting him an extra set I wo…

How dare you respect your husband, want to have kids and be happy! You could have had a future! Had 30 cats, drank wine constantly and remember the good ole days of lots of meaningless casual sex and wearing that sweet pink hat standing up to the oppressive horrible men. Your misogyny is showing sweaty💅🏼

True, but now we are telling women it’s ok to be bossy. It’s not a good thing to teach any child regardless, but they are aiming this at girls like it’s some kind of power thing. Girrrrrl power! Right? I disliked that saying growing up. This kind of reminds me of the MLM women with their #bossbabe. Really cringe.

Exactly. Also, I always found the most respectable leaders lead by example as well.

Only 14.5% are 6ft or taller in the US. That’s before you factor in the other two stats.

Spot on. My father cheated on my mother, she was broken and hurt. Said some stuff about men stereotypically. She changed her views back after a few years but it still had a little effect on me, that and knowing what my dad did didn’t help. She even tried getting him to spend time with me, he noped out of that. But the big reason I never hated men was that I had some spectacular male role models (grandpa, uncles etc). Without them, I most likely would have been one of these lovely ladies. Having …

The loss of a merit based society is going to rear its ugly head soon. Think of all the doctors, engineers etc that get their degrees from this shit. Ya, it’s shitty he wasn’t honest, which is pretty crucial for a healthy relationship. But if they want out of their situation, as long as one of them can get the education and a job elsewhere, this is their chance. She wasn’t even guaranteed the slot either so had he not, would it have really gone to her? But you are correct, honesty would have hel…

A family member of mine is quite skinny and it is a very sore area for him to talk about. I always felt for him, he did everything he could to try and gain but his metabolism was too strong I guess. And you are right it is very, very hypocritical.

Ya while she’s 100% correct here, she’s not role model material at all.

Oh this is rich considering this very thing is what a majority of women are biologically attracted to. In our very nature we are drawn to someone who can protect and provide for us and our children. Jesus these women are mad because these type of men go for women who actually take care of themselves and have a personality rather than hoard cats and bitch about men online while gorging on sweets.

Men should be allowed preferences. Screw anyone who tells you different. But the one above yours is correct that these idiots wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between a few inches. I think I remember a video I saw on one sub or this one, can’t remember exactly, but the lady was an ex match maker for rich folks. Well the women would put in preferences and it was always 6 ft and taller. She laughed at it and said that men who are that height or taller only make up 14% (can’t remember if it …

I don’t think I’ll understand why height is a determining factor on whether you can fall in love or not with a man. Seriously online dating has cursed the dating scene. I get it helps some who have issues finding dates (super small town, etc) but god what happened to meeting and talking, getting to know each other and then deciding if there is chemistry or not. Because I guarantee some people will surprise you with how personality can shine through someone who is not typically your “type”. I fee…

True, just sad that a teacher would mark someone down for a differing (factually correct) opinion.

She’d probably mark him down for it. Teachers don’t like it when students correct them, I would say doubly for feminist teachers.

This reminds me of the one recently that said she was “out of his league”. I always think about how women now would fair had we no makeup, like in the 1600s. A lot of the quite gorgeous women you see would mostly likely go from 9/10 to a 4/10. Maybe they’d concentrate on their personality more? :)

They do and I am pretty sure we’ve always been that way, even going back in history it’s all catty crap. Being honest, I know I’ve criticised other women before, mostly in my head thankfully. Social media and such wasn’t so popular when I was dating. Young and entering the dating scene, I guess it’s the fight instinct to get the best partner you can or to feel better about yourself due to self-confidence issues? I don’t know, would love to find a study or something on it. Would probably be a goo…

Well said. It’s sad really, I dated to find that special someone, I wasn’t interested in hookups. I don’t even consider myself that old yet and I already feel like things have changed sooo much since I dated.

When someone says they are out of someone’s league, you tend to find they think way too highly of themselves and they are not actually out of their league they just think they are (or are simply extremely entitled which I think this might be the case here). Also, those looking for advice on such a vitriolic sub, is highly unlikely to be of high value in the dating scene. I obviously blame almost all of this entitlement in the dating scene for women on feminism but I think the other part is onlin…

I say females all the time and I don’t take offence to it being said to me. I use it while working in the medical field and also the medical field when I was in the Army. I understand you can use it to “insult” a woman but same can be said about saying males. I don’t see why it’s such a big deal.

Loved to see where her life would be without men. They have a pretty large impact on our mental health growing up among so many other factors in life. Don’t let it get to you! <3

Exactly. I am married, love my husband and my male family members. I want to see them do well and be cherished. The most impactful person in my life was my grandfather. He was the most amazing man. We should be celebrating those men that make positive impacts on our lives instead of trying to bring them down with hate.

Been seeing some crazy stuff happening in Aussie land, the feminists seem to be really taking over down there. But I don’t live there and I hope I am very wrong but unfortunately don’t think I am. Not sure what Western society hasn’t been infested by this shite.

Humph well I did sports since I was 5, played against boys and worked out once my body was mature enough to. Wonder why I still couldn’t compete against the boys I played with all my life? maybe...now hear me out..maybe girls and boys are biologically different? Also I got hurt more playing with the boys than my own gender and that was at a younger age, I stopped playing the older we got but those minor injuries definitely would have gotten more serious. This is football(soccer). I don’t underst…

Or they hate themselves so much they are suicidal. I remember reading about the poor son of that super prominent feminist in the 60’s. He hated himself so much, luckily he didn’t kill himself or become crazy, but from his open letter about his mom you could tell he had some serious emotional trauma. It’s almost like if you raise your children with love and give them good guidance early in life they turn out to be good people...imagine that.

Here’s to all the men in our lives! Grandfathers, Fathers, Brothers and husbands, you are all important in our lives! Have a happy men’s day :)

Exactly and put that in reverse and it’s what most women want to. Frankly a good personality can make a 2-3/10 a 5-7/10. Then add in taking care of yourself and you’re in a solid 6-7 territory. That’s just my opinion though. I prefer a man with a good personality over looks. My husband wasn’t my type but once I got to know him, well we’re married so :)

That’s not even asking much and yet it still seems so many people of either gender can’t grasp it. I still think online dating, especially apps like tinder, have ruined dating. I would not want to be in the dating world right now, I feel sorry for anyone who is :(

I remember this one large woman who claimed to police she was raped by like 10 or so men. I don’t know if anything actually happened to her (2020 would say no) but it was scary how badly she just ruined these men’s lives without a care. Sickening.
