My husband is 5’7. I’m 5’6. He was abit shorter than me when we met. So for me personally it wasn’t important I come from a tall family where I’m the shortest (my brothers are all 6 ft +). I don’t know if that plays a part in me not caring about it

if you don’t give people what they want A faceless multitude are not my problem. I’m happily obligated to the people I love and that’s it. You can want young women, that’s your prerogative. But when I say young women find it icky, you try to make me feel some type of way about the possibility of men feeling ashamed over it lol like that has anything to do with me. I’m not in the business of mommy-ing a bunch of grown ass strangers. This’ll be the last time I’m addressing your imbecility

I don’t care that you don’t care about it or think it’s irrelevant. The point I made still stands. Most young women don’t want a creep. You can continue to want whoever you want but is what it is. And if you think I’m shaming you for it, well if the shoe fits that’s on you🤷‍♀️ you can feel whatever you feel about it. Not my problem

Well I mean, there is the risk of getting hurt physically by them so they’re street smart that’s for sure. Beautiful and smart women I don’t really care what men like lol but many here seem to cling to the delusion that women do so readily and cant fathom that you can have an opinion on something but not be that heavily invested. Therefore you’re free to cuddle up tight to the invalid hope

I dgaf about men’s ‘biological desires.’ I was speaking from personal experience and based on my observation and all the young women I know. I have a big family with nieces the age range of this ‘biological desirability’ and they all think the same thing: it’s creepy. Try not to take it too personally

your just bitter even that female privilege ends Keep comforting yourself with that delusion

I know better than you because I’m a dude Ok🥴😂

You were there were you? Lmao sounds like you’re making up shit in your head over moments you weren’t even present. Probably never been invited to a party/outing in your life
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/22 02:48 AM

Lol huh? I’m married. My husband isn’t much taller than me and I’ve always been designated the leader in various places/situations my entire life. Nice try though

Im similar with still doing those kind of activities. And I’ve been with one man since we were in highschool. I think this whole ‘youthful’ thing is more of a personality thing than having to do with age

When I was in my early 20s and older men hit on me/pursued me, it was weird. It felt creepy not going to lie. They had ‘confidence’ but it was only under the assumption I was naive enough to fall for it Friends would also make fun of the older men pursuing us

Never saw that interview but I agree with her. I’ll give it a watch, thanks
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 11:56 PM

Naivety/youth often means easier to control and/or overpower. So I tend to think men who prefer younger women have a low self esteem problem

I’m sorry that happened to you. I’d be just as devastated if things had unfolded that way for us. But I do think you dodged a bullet. I hope happiness for you with someone who is good, kind and appreciates you

Lol We met in/have been together since highschool, 20 years all up. We are each others first and only loves I hope you find and lock down your ‘chad’ though

I pointed it out because it’s such a huge detail for people on this subreddit based on what I’ve observed. And also bought up in the OP. For me personally, I don’t care

I’m 35 and he’s 36
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 01:11 PM

My face is in my DP and I could be overrated. I’m just going by what others say and respond to us/me My husband has posted us on the equal attraction subreddit for lols and all said he was punching above his league. So I mean according to reddit and irl reactions, we aren’t looksmatched. But you might think differently. And that’s fine, to me my husband is my equal. Thus, I’d be in agreement with you anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 12:49 PM
8

But just because you don’t find her attractive, doesn’t mean she has to think she’s not attractive? I don’t get the sense in wanting to ‘humble’ someone who has nothing to do with you
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 09:01 AM

Eh, it’s not like men who people here would consider ‘chads’ haven’t tried to usurp my husbands position in my life back then and even now. The dynamic of the male vs female gaze doesn’t end after being in a relationship for a long period of time. Especially since many in here believe in hypergamy The point still stands that women’s preferences vary but I know many will disagree with that so it’s whatever

I come from a tall Samoan family. My brothers and cousins are all 6ft +. Height isn’t a novelty to me. I’m the shortest at 5’6 which makes my husband 5’7. We were the same height when we met, if anything he was probably a tad shorter 20 years explains what?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 07:07 AM

My husband doesn’t have a figurine collections. Just piles of books on science and philosophy and shit. Gaming & computer building. Stuff that doesn’t interest me (but I do love to learn from him). Aswell as being just an incredibly introverted/quiet guy in general. But 20 years together and we are happy so 🤷‍♀️ Physically people here would say he looked like an incel, with glasses, weight and all

It’s not 🧢, my DMs are dry. Which is fine, I’m married. But it is true I’m not active on social media. Only reddit
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 05:43 AM
1

I get like 1 or 2 DMs a year. I’ve been told that I’m stunning/gorgeous by both men and women irl and online. I’ve also been told that I was fcking ugly by men online lol Online DMs don’t mean much and have nothing rooted in reality for me personally
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 05:27 AM
39

Fwiw, I’m told that I’m fairly attractive and people are often surprised to meet my husband because he is a stereotypical nerdy guy who’s an inch taller than myself. People hound him over how th did he ‘score’ me. He’s just my type personally Women are multifaceted and what we like varies

Athletes/frequent gym goers and business men. I married a nerd/geek though
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 02:10 AM

You part of my marriage are you? Clown behaviour to assume you know better than me and my husband lol that’s humour
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/22 10:15 AM

No. Sex is a frequent and normal part of my marriage. As well as love and companionship. There are individuals who enjoy both the emotional connection and sex. They are intertwined

I’m a prude. I don’t have sex with any man unless we are serious
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/22 06:46 AM

Your logic must be faulty if you can’t understand that we vowed to stay together on the condition that we will always forsake all others amongst other promises. Therefore, it’s not lying You should work on comprehension before you put people you don’t know on some invalid moral trial
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/22 05:05 AM
1

‘Forsaking all others’ was part of our vows, and if those conditions are not upheld then it makes the rest obsolete. Not that it’s any of your business
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/22 04:56 AM
1

That’s couple dependent. I would not stay with my husband if he cheated and I wouldn’t expect him to either
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/22 04:44 AM
1

I would try not to burden them with the information. But I have an inkling my 12 year old daughter would catch on anyway. My 10 year old daughter would not be emotionally mature enough though. They’re very different individually

Yeah I’ve been accused of surgery/filler/an eating disorder @ 35 years old a few times. It’s just genetics. I’ve seen and know much better looking people than myself who genuinely just look that way
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 04:44 AM
1

My husband and I are pretty possessive over eachother. But we don’t go out of way to make eachother jealous. That’s weird
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/22 01:13 AM
7

I like that my husband has his own goals and ambitions. But I also like that he is devoted to me (as I am to him). I think him being his own person/individual doesn’t equate to me being his ‘side piece.’ We are just two humans committed to living life alongside each-other My husband does say and show that me and our children are the most important part of his life though
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/22 03:29 PM
1

I’m not sure why you would but My mom said guys may think I am a desperate loser who expects guys to marry for Papeete as a business things As a mother this is just all kinds of fucked up thing to say to their child
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/22 09:29 AM
8

I know a few in my family. They’ve been married for a while with children and are happy

Christina Hendricks might also just keep her sex and love life private
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/22 03:29 AM

I don’t see standards as low or high. I just see them as different depending on the person
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/22 09:24 AM

The first. Self discipline and the ability to say no to one self is an important value to have imo
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/22 01:36 PM
3

This is true from what I’ve observed also
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/22 01:06 AM
1

Neither. We’ve been together since high-school, 20 years ago. I’m not religious personally, but I come from a very religious cultural background (Samoan) which probably plays into it
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 03:26 PM

It’s interesting to see perspective from the other side of my own. You’ve broadened my POV on the topic. Appreciate you sharing
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/22 02:12 PM

Yes. It was one of the main reasons I quit honestly. The attention and advances were jarring. Especially as a former overweight/obese girl, I was confused and put off

I was a front desk admin for a time and wealthy/older men can be pretty bold. It was only twice though, nothing regularly unless you count DMs
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 03:22 PM

There weren’t any woman only clubs when I was young/over a decade ago. But I know my friends and I would have loved it
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 03:13 PM
1

No one I know personally. I couldn’t do it. Such an awkward dynamic
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 02:45 PM
1

My husband is only abit taller than me and is a normal guy who is definitely my best friend. I’ve had wealthy men and pro athletes show interest in wanting to pursue a relationship with me. So no, ultimate best friend is not secondary
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/22 12:59 AM
1

Only one friend I had was like this. The rest were just there to have fun and most of us married regular guys. My closest friends had 4 maximum men they had slept with and they were serious relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 11:00 PM

I’ve only had sex with my husband and I’m his only too. I don’t think I’m a ‘unicorn’ though. Casual sex has just never interested me
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 01:25 PM

To the cheap wedding point: our wedding cost a couple hundred dollars. We were young and couldn’t afford much. We’ve been married just over a decade And as someone who married her highschool sweetheart, finding love later in life is no less valid
