I am not sure if this is the same one but there was a woman in the UK that was caught making multiple false rape charges. It turned out the first one not just resulted in jail time for the guy but the woman received a compensation payout.

If it is any comfort, some nursing programs are getting better. Our instructor for L&D/maternity pointed out the rare issues such as phimosis that can be a result of foreskin. She also pointed out the relative rarity of them. I also doubt that she was an advocate for circumcision since she also pointed out the pain, risk for infection and other complications. There is progress being made, but it is very slow. /graduates ADN and received RN in 2014

I don't know if this would help where you are but my city has an ID that is issued by the transit company for people with disabilities or seniors. It's mostly for when our fares are checked (as the tickets are cheaper than general), but I have seen them used to show that the person has a right to the seats.

I'm early 40s but have some physical disabilities. Most of the time it's not a huge issue but occasionally I legitimately need those seats. The last time was on a very overcrowded transit train with no seats available. I simply explained to a person in the reserved seats and asked if I could sit. He immediately stood up. It's simply shocking what communication can achieve.

A question for the older guys here: before there were people willing to stand against MGM, how did you deal with it? Was it something that you were told to deal with? That it wasn't even an issue? That there was something wrong with you for being upset? I'm in my 40s and don't recall seeing anything about MGM until a few years ago. I don't know if that is because it was considered shameful or if I, as a woman, just didn't see it.

I was under the impression that it was to create a somewhat level environment for the kids. It was to keep them from being at one home with limited necessaries and luxuries and then going to visit the other parent in a huge place overflowing with items. That creates confusion and resentment.
