Have a fat based, instead of carb based, diet. Something like a 20:20:60 split, for instance. A gram of fat contains 9 calories, whereas a gram of carbs contains 4 calories. Consuming the same volume of food, therefore, you'll ingest more calories. Stick to meat, fish, nuts, avocados, seeds etc. Avoided processed meats/vegetable oils/trans fats.

Do you think there's an evolutionary incentive for men of the species to develop feelings conducive to pair bonding? I feel a lot like you, and can't escape the "irrationality" of these feelings, and the frustration/disappointment they entail. Perhaps the men who had no such feelings failed to raise successful offspring, and their genes subsequently died.

Leeds is woeful for male/female ratios. I was in a group of 8 lads, and we weren't allowed in ANYWHERE as a group. We had to split up into 4 groups AND meet women in the street and go in with them.

Sure, but my point is that you can't just claim the elite rule the world on the basis of utter conjecture. I'm not closed to the idea, but I expect a thorough account of the causal mechanism that leads to your conclusion.
