Conscription resulting in lots of more dead men (and basically making young men into an expendable commodity) is a horrendous side-effect but it's the side effect of an archaic and old system, not something new and certainly not feminism. Conscription is not a feminist institution and the "men only" part of it is based on the idea that women are too delicate/weak to be of use during war and battle.. which is quite weird when it comes down to it, since women do serve in the armed forces in most first world countries.
