Sure, it worked this time, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have done better. "How does 7.30 tomorrow sound? There's a great place down [...]" would have accomplished the same thing with infinitely more class.

You seriously wonder why a girl walking alone on an empty block, after seeing three men watching her and discussing amongst themselves and then waiting for her, might be a little scared when one of them approaches her? That's some serious social ineptitude.

Literally just smiling at us is normally incentive enough for us to approach.

Good to see some healthy advice on this sub after whatever the fuck that was I read a couple of days ago.

I don't smoke so this might be a dumb question, but isn't a cigarette case supposed to be a replacement for carrying a pack?

Open, FTC, opinion opener, initiate kino, hook, DHV story, hot cold, set merge, gambit, mini isolate, kino esculate, compliance test, bounce, full isolate, gambit, compliance test, banter, kiss close, bounce back to set, DHV story, give a reason to bounce by saying Im hungry or something, bounce to new location, build sexual tensions, figure out logistics, give reason to bounce to full close location, final bounce, seduction, full close. Yeah, I've found the same; since I've started trying to mention that she's cute, etc in the first few sentences, I've found either she's much more receptive or she'll offer a polite rejection which saves me wasting time and getting my hopes up.

I think this is a dangerous mindset because it can easily lead to being overcautious. Worrying about whether or not saying something will put a girl off, or whether you should hide such and such part of your personality from her is only going to hinder you. Being polarising is a good thing. Most of things you list are just positives rephrased anyway. Not being smelly vs smelling nice. Not being fat vs being fit. Not dressed like a vagrant vs dressing well. What's the difference exactly? I think …

I'm pretty on-board with most of the stuff that gets posted on this forum, but this one always comes up and I hate it. If a girl is playing the boyfriend card to see if you'll still chase her, she's setting up the biggest asshole filter imaginable. Just don't indulge that kind of behaviour; it's a pretty good demonstration of her inability to make good choices.

You're just being honest, and I respect that. Honestly is always key. But I also gotta be honest and say that you're coming across as a massive cunt. Peace.

OP delivers! Good man. Yeah you are indeed pretty attractive, and your photos convey a sort of playful energy so I can totally see how that line is working for you. I can't imagine it'd work as well for others but I'll try it on a few of my matches once I'm over this damn cold. What's your reply ratio like with this?

Sounds good. Coffee can be a bit boring sometimes but since it fits nicely into both of your schedules I feel like it should work well. You're definitely right to get straight to the point over text, and asking in-person would be a nice bonus.

for months now [she] has been telling me [...] how she doesn't want to fuck while not in a committed relationship. she straight up told me she wanted to fuck me. She said she expected me to fuck her last night. she says she's afraid of hanging out. She said she wants to come over so bad. I don't know what you want me to say buddy. This is the behaviour pattern of someone who is more than happy to involve you in their mindfuck if it makes them feel better about themselves. It's just not a good ba…

Sounds like she's too inside her own head and wants you to give her an out (essentially, be pushy enough that she can tell herself it was a mistake and not blame herself). You could do that, but you're probably better off telling her that you're dtf but that you're tired of the bs and she can call you when she's got herself figured out. There's a fair chance she'll call you within a day. Don't date her though. She sounds very immature and manipulative. Healthy people don't use other people to ma…

Consider for a second that you're beating yourself up over this, yet you clearly did nothing wrong. You approached her. You had a great conversation. You set plans that any normal, functional human being could follow. You literally did everything right. She fucked up, not you. Don't punish yourself for her mistakes.

This is kinda meaningless without the context of your own profile. That said, inviting myself over to build a pillow fort and fuck in it has gotten me into an 8 month relationship before.

Surprised no one has mentioned alcohol. Were you drunk? That usually fucks things up. I'm also kinda confused how you're at the point of being able to make out with multiple attractive women within minutes but you've never taken a girl home before? I guess you could text and be upfront about your anxiety and you might be able to hook up. I wouldn't bother though.

I wish people would think about their words a bit more carefully sometimes. I'm sure OP did nothing wrong but things like that are why people (wrongfully) accuse this sub of promoting sexual violence.

I really don't know why seddit is so obsessed by the "I have a boyfriend thing". It gets mentioned so often that you'd think that every girl you ever meet is constantly using it as a shit test. Sure, if you push back with some witty retort every time a girl tells you she has a boyfriend, you might get laid a few more times. But by far the two most likely scenarios are that she's telling you that because she isn't interested in you, or she actually has a fucking boyfriend (and isn't interested in…

It's Tinder; unless you're sending creepy aggressive messages you're not going to accidentally traumatise someone. Being honest about your intentions in a polite, honest way is the opposite of creepy. After reading a comment on here I've started sending "You look like you like to be spanked" as my default opener with girls who have boring photos and no bio. I was shocked by how many girls respond enthusiastically. Sure, a few are gonna act offended, but a good many more happily jumped straight i…

Agreed. A good mattress has such a profound effect on your quality of sleep. Side note: I was all about memory foam until I moved abroad and ended up with a spring mattress. I hadn't really noticed before, but sex is so much better with springs! So I wouldn't recommend a foam mattress that doesn't also have springs.

Just want to point out that you're making the classic Reddit blunder of assuming that OP is from the US based on... nothing. There are a whole bunch of countries where the age of consent is 16, including my own, and it's kinda condescending to try to correct him when you don't even know where he's from.

Your realisation is not so different to my own. For me, it was that if I wanted to attract more women I needed to be more attractive, and that the path to being more attractive is self improvement. The beauty here is that focusing on yourself completely shifts your perspective. All that abundance mentality falls into place because you're no longer trying to make girls like you, you're just trying to be a better person and enjoying the fuck out of life and damn you look hot in that dress.

This. I don't know why everyone is pushing the 'apologise and gtfo' approach. You did nothing wrong, so why act like you did? That just paints you in a bad light. You approached a girl and started a (hopefully) interesting and engaging conversation with her. When her boyfriend shows up and she introduces him, greet him like you would anyone else, and involve him in your conversation. Unless you're weird about it you'll end up making two new friends which if nothing else increases your social pro…

For me it happened in a relatively short space of time (maybe 4-5 months). I think it came about because I realised that almost everyone I meet while traveling will probably be permanently out of my life in a few minutes/ hours to at most few weeks. This made it very easy to just be myself and be outcome independent to pretty much everything. And once you realise how much happier you are like this and how much more positively others respond to you, it's then easy to transfer that mentality to yo…

Well would you look at that, I'm stage 5. I can't recommend long term travel enough for developing the big kid, 'loving life and not giving a fuck about what people think' mentality.
