It's easy to see people's intentions. But if their intentions are good, why would I give them the cold shoulder and be a dick for no reason? Tonight I went out and a woman (some fifteen years older than me) asked my group where we were going (after letting us pass in front of her in a crowded street, as we were moving at different paces), and then said she wanted to come with us and that I, because I'm bigger and am muscly, should carry her on my arms. According to you, this is a horrible thing …

If I was in that position, I'd feel bad for ignoring people that way. In my country, answering a "Good afternoon" from anybody, even strangers, in most settings, is customary and you're considered rude if you don't.

She definitely came off looking better in that interview than she did coming in.

To be honest, it doesn't make me feel better. I'm fine with them having their corner on reddit to talk about what they want, and it being watered down to me doesn't matter much since I'm not a part of it. The only positive it might have is that it might go the way of /r/atheism and stop being a default for how bad the quality of the posts gets. (I actually feel bad for how shit /r/atheism got, as the atheist community needs a space on reddit without memes, shitposts, quotes or "Atheism +" bullsh…

I honestly don't understand the logic behind 2XC being a default sub.

The problem here is that your explanation is shows that you don't really understand the rules you're enforcing, and that you aren't up to snuff to be a mod of a sub the size of /r/TIL. Defending that answer blindly when you have been proven wrong on at least three subreddits on that matter already isn't helping your case either.

I'll do my own post and re-post the links from /r/undelete about this thread and others that have had the same treatment.

I'm talking about when you are provoked, similarly to what happened in the OP. Dude was cockblocked by another male that was there. You can't just ignore it when he's actively fucking up what you're doing.

If you lift heavier and make more money than you, then you're fitter and more economically stable, that's all it says about us relatively, and those are only components of our lives. They are really valuable aspects, sure, but they don't aren't the whole picture. Having that attitude of "I lift more thus I'm better than you" is something that, the way I see it, a real man doesn't have, or doesn't even need to have. If I keep doing dick measuring contexts, then I probably have something to prove.…

I feel like those kinds of blokes should be treated similarly to the way we treat AMOGs. I mean, they are blocking us, and they do want to fuck them (even though they'll never be able to), and that's all that matters. So what would be the best way of handling this situation? I'm thinking that if you completely disqualified him, you could've gotten away with it. Thoughts?

I thought about reposting this OP (with credit) on a sub like /r/theoryofreddit that seems to be pretty impartial with things like these, but it would probably be deleted there too.

She's more at fault than the guy, imo. If I was cheated on (with a gf fucking a guy I didn't know) I would blame it all on her. She's the one that is in a relationship with me, not him. She's the one that "agreed" to stay monogamous with me. So it's all her fault. Of course, I wouldn't exactly be able to be friends with the guy, and with the guy being his best friend, that relationship is going to end.

In Europe, people of the opposite gender kiss that way to say hello, as do women to each other. I agree that kissing a reporter is not something you should do, but that's because it's a reporter and the interviewer doesn't generally have the level of intimacy with the interviewee (?) for it to be done on camera, not because it's a woman or a man. And on that, Russel Brand pecked a man on the cheek in the other interview on the OP, and that was fine and dandy. So the issue is not one of kissing re…

I made a post on a thread about "What's wrong with Beta Bux?" about the differences between Alphas and Betas, what defines them and why it matters. Only now did I get through reading this one, and I think my answer to that thread fits this one as well. The first thing we have to mention is that TRP is amoral. There aren't any standard "rights" or "wrongs", hell, TRP advocates for three completely different sexual strategies (LTRs, plating and MGTOW) and all of them are fine. What we can mention,…

The first thing we have to mention is that TRP is amoral. There aren't any standard "rights" or "wrongs", hell, TRP advocates for three completely different sexual strategies (LTRs, plating and MGTOW) and all of them are fine. What we can mention, and do, is what makes someone's life better from a happiness standpoint. People who have lots of sex tend to be happier than people who don't, for example, and thus PUA theory is seen as "right", while beta orbiting is seen as "wrong". That's only an e…

If you're caucasian (as in, pasty white, and not exactly "mulato") and Brazilian, the only difference to them will be the accent. And that might be a big plus, a reason for a shittest or completely irrelevant. The "funkeiro" is, unfortunately, the Brazilian man that attracts the most Portuguese women, as we as a country fawn over other oversexualized cultures (US, Brazil and UK as great examples).

Tbh, the Iberian Peninsula is overall pretty racist. Our older generation fought in our own dumb war to keep our colonies in Africa, so a large amount of grandpas are racist (the same way Korean War veterans are/were). Asians are seen in a bad light for the Chinese Shop phenomena that I mentioned, along with some common urban myths (that they'll kidnap you to sell your organs in the black market). In the North of Portugal, there's still a huge majority of white people, and while in Lisbon and do…

Well, of course, it's a generalization. I said that because in general, the exposure most Portuguese people have with Asian people is through Chinese stores, Asian restaurants and anime. Anime is looked more as a kid's thing, Asian restaurants don't really have much to show for here, and most Chinese store clerks I know only talk Chinese, barely any English or Portuguese. It's the "race" we're the least exposed to in Portugal. People from Africa and South America are pretty common thanks to our …

Man, i gotta say that you're the fucking boss at such young age. By your performance in Portugal (i'm assuming everything you say is truth) you're what i would call a super natural, even by your physical nature. I've been doing lifting for some years, and you're on my physical level at such young age. During puberty I was chubby and awkward as hell. Only recently did I start shaping up, and trust me that if you lift for some years, you're physically much ahead of me. I do school sports, go to my…

That's...not really how it works here, unfortunately. Most kids get into soccer from a young age, so "being good at soccer" is, unless you actually play in a pro team (3rd division up, like the OP, I think, stated), you won't stand out at all. You're in a country where 99% of boys and 40% of girls play soccer since they were able to walk, it's irrelevant. Actually, since we basically put American culture on a pedestal (and Portuguese culture in the shitter, we're only patriotic when the national…

Your second paragraph is an almost perfect TLDR of half of what I mentioned. You have it spot on, most approaches on strangers here are made on the dancefloor or heading towards it. The bar scene is dominated by large groups of friends (who won't let some random guy who showed up into the group, especially if he wants to get with a girl from the group) and thus, cold approaches at bars aren't the most common thing. I usually cold approach on the street, like I would in day game, and approach who…

And, like Improv/Comedy lessons, it loosens you up to situations that would embarass you (bye bye approach anxiety) and gets you to think on your feet fast, which is a very important skill.

Isaac Newton and Tesla were both messed up in the head, along with being huge geniuses, as reports from the time show. Newton was reportedly anti-social and hypothesized to have Asperger's, while Tesla had OCD and pretty weird habits.

Olá amigo lusitano! Portuguese here (will reply in english, obviously, for the 99,99% of TRP who don't speak portuguese), and actually from the same city as you. Now, I'm a bit younger than you (at age sixteen) and I got introduced to PUA/TRP theory when I was actually very young (started reading on Natural Game around age 12) - I was terribly average with my social skills, and as we know, those who are average get absolutely neglected by portuguese girls. I have very good looking friends who ge…

That's amazing. "My glasses are famous." Wow, what a dickhead ahaha. The comment made at the start of the video is true, he's such a cock but he held frame pretty well when she started being condescending. An idiot, but chill.

Lifting, martial arts and most sports are generally male dominated activities, so don't expect to meet girls there. Hell, there are supposedly four girls enlisted in my Savat class, but in close to two months there with two classes a week I only saw men (from kids to 60-somethings-year-olds) A few ones already mentioned that are really good are Yoga/Pilates and Dancing, as they are not only great skills to have (core strength, flexibility and dancing skills) but women flood these kinds of classe…

From his perspective, his girl comes first. Hey, maybe she was really different from what he thought. Maybe she's the girl of his dreams, who knows? They're in the honeymoon phase, and it's comprehensible that his main focus right now is her. Not everyone is or needs to be TRP, and that's fine. What you have to do as his friend is try to keep him in touch with you and his other close friends. Tell him, for example, "next saturday me and the rest of our group are going on a guy's night out, you c…

I'm talking about girls in our social circle, that we already have established relationships with, not randoms I want to "pick up". You do not take actions out of context, the same way you don't take words out of context. If you tap a random girl in the ass who you didn't even talk to, in a place that is new to you, surrounded by people you don't know, of course you might get beaten up, that goes without saying. And of course you can tap her ass too, but you need to escalate to it first. Say, yo…

Since discovering trp it became much easier to separate the fake bros from the real bros, and sure enough, i've noticed they are always high value guys. The best bros are the ones with high enough value to not feel threatened by your efforts to improve your own value, when that mutual respect is there, an actual friendship can grow. Holy shit I see this so much it hurts.

Same here, I had issues with a very close friend of mine who I helped when he was at his most socially awkward (and made him social, in a sense) when he started judging me for things I say. A perfect example was when I compared two girls, one we had just met on a night out and one which had been a close friend of mine for a long time. "Y'know, this girl almost reminds me of Silvia, except she's way sluttier." He got his panties in a bunch - "I liked her, you know?! SHE'S NOT A SLUT, SHE'S GOOD".…

Most of my friends are like that. I showed this subreddit to a few friends of mine, and most of them liked it but didn't give it much thought (the only one who did, ironically, was the girl who's nearly a social reject). Being still in high school, everyone's SMV is not as liquid/changeable as it would be in the bar scene, for example. Only me and my best friend (who isn't TRP at all, but just overall friendly, funny and forward) are even able to get physical contact with the girls in our class …

Same with me really. The thread was called "TRP is such bullshit" or something like that, the OP was bashing TRP without justification and the commenters were all nodding. Keep in mind that sub rule #4 is "Do not mention other subreddits or users in posts, for you will seen as enticing brigading and will get banned". But that post was fine, apparently. All I said was something "To an outsider, that sub might seem a bit harsh, but it's got a some truth in its core". Boom, banned, labelled as a mi…
