Yes, I think we should stop being mules. But I admit it is not easy, when I was younger I was forced to do military service because I am male. Had I refused I would have gone to prison. I hate feminism because I think everyone should be equal before the law. Here in Switzerland several laws discriminate against men, feminists work against changing any of that. They argue somewhat like you should not improve things for men as long as women have it worse somewhere else. I believe you should just get rid of every injustice. I fully support equal rights for everyone and this obviously includes everyone that is trans as well. Personally I would say I am an egalitarian. I think this might be very different for each individual. For some it will slowly build up over a long period of time. Sounds about as bad as here in Switzerland, however here in Switzerland it is not "just" the draft, every man here has to do at least 245 days of military service. Here in Switzerland some politicians now started to openly attack (old) white men. Which is odd, Switzerland doesn't have a racist history so it is mainly them replicating talking points from the USA/UK. It is even more odd considering that there are several laws that discriminate based on gender and all of them are in favor of women (for example male only conscription or until 2 weeks ago lower retirement age for women). Well for me this isn't about the draft. In Switzerland men are forced to do at least 245 days of military service at a very young age. They were better off if they could spend these days in education or getting into their first job. Funny how men are blamed for failure to launch. Surely women can choose a partner that does more domestic labor? It is no more than fair if total work hours (domestic and at work) is about the same for both genders in a relationship / marriage. ​ The much bigger discrepancy however is in the work for the general public. Men are forced to do thousands of hours of military / civil service. I am in no organization. But every now and then (if the opportunity presents itself) I lead the conversation with my peers towards an issue that affects men negatively. For example when there are talks about deaths I would say as an aside that suicide is the leading cause for deaths of men under 45. It might actually be a close contest between Spain and Switzerland. Switzerland has higher retirement age for men, mandatory military service for men only as well as several other laws that discriminate against men. We also have several "spaces" that are for women only including parkings for example. The curriculum exclusively supports girls based on their gender even though boys are doing way worse in school.

So propably not even a majority of men were in favour of abolishing mandatory military service for men.
