For one thing, MMA is super violent yes, but It's also an individual, one person against the world type sport. The cringiest thing to me is when a guy takes his girl to a sports game. Because unless you're a musician, or music producer, it really doesn't provide any tangible benefit beyond short term entertainment, like a fast food emotional high.
