Sex != gender. Yes, the male sex and female sexes are different. Sex is not gender. Gender is a social construct. IN 1950s America a woman grew up knowing that she will be a housewife and nothing else. In 1950s USSR women grew up without the concept of "a housewife" because it didn't exist there. Gender is a social construct. If you were a woman born in 1940, you’d think that being a woman meant being a housewife. That’s not true anymore. Being respectful to woman also entails not boxing them into your idea of what it is to be a woman.
