You realize by telling us this is a survey on domestic violence you cause a self selection bias. There is a difference between protesting what someone has to say and preventing someone from saying it. Protesting outside of a building allows everyone free speech. I had to do a paper on prostate cancer and found out that even though more men get prostate cancer than women get breast cancer, breast cancer research receives much more government funding. "Don't Be That Guy" campaign reportedly reduced rape by 10% Found this in an /r/bestof discussion: Edmonton "Don't be that guy" posters supposedly dropped rape by 10%, measured as reported. Thoughts? What they fail to mention is that Vancouver had 73 rapes last year. They have a population of 166k so about 1 rape per 2,250 people. 4	A FtM transgender perspective on the change in privilege I wonder how many people see him as a man. He says he hasn't even started growing whiskers yet so I assume he doesn't have many other secondary sex traits. Could it be entirely impossible that he is not getting harassed anymore not because people see him as a man but instead people see him as trans? Moreover, he says he is in his 40's which would indicate even if he was still perceived as a woman he would get considerably less sexual harassment based on age.
