I’m gonna come in here with a different take. If she’s gone 25 years without once acting on the desire to have sex with somebody, I see that as a red flag. Sex is very important for me and I’m not going to remain interested if I don’t get the impression that she wants it too. If she’s gone 25 years without doing it once I don’t think it’s realistic to expect that she’s going to suddenly change that behavior pattern completely with me.

This is it. Just own it, when people see you judging yourself they’ll judge you too.

Nor should you, that would be as ridiculous as it is hyperbolic. I feel that your “popular guy” example purposefully misrepresents the point that you and anyone else would also struggle for patience if you had to constantly deal with guys wanting to “be your friend” and then getting upset or losing interest the minute they realize that you don’t want their dick inside you. You’re making it sound like it’s totally awesome and chill to be approached by lots of men all the time in your daily life b…

If by “be your friend” you mean “contrive to put their erect penis inside of you” then I agree that yes it would probably suck, even sans lame greasy nerds it probably sucks to be in that position.

I for one am grateful for the fact that I don’t have random guys stopping me and hitting me up for my number all the time. Being “wildly desired by most men” probably is not the walk in the park that you are imagining it to be. Sure, it’s difficult to always be putting yourself out there and risking rejection, but you also have to see that it is difficult to be in the position of constantly needing to filter/reject potential candidates.

I think that’s maybe the idea behind those “impolite” rejections. Imagine being a pretty girl and every other guy you encounter has the confidence to stop you and ask for your number because the rejection is always sweet like this one. It would get old really quick having to turn boneheads like us down all day every day.

I feel like the door was open briefly and OP helped her shut it. Wasn’t worth her time after she read that text

Some guys can’t take a hint though or even take straight up rejection as a challenge. It does create a sense of security for girls to have guys they trust around them when going out.

It’s not a shit test. Just wash your hands, she doesn’t have to put up with nasty unwashed fingers inside her. She probably just knows how much bacteria you have growing under your name

How much are you texting? There’s no reason to have an ongoing back and fourth with someone you just met. A couple days ago you’d never spoken to this person in your life, things don’t usually change so quickly. If I got someone’s number and they texted me every day after that I would start to wonder why this person didn’t have better things to do with their time, or why they didn’t have somebody else who they’re closer with to chat to. Just back off, you already got the date, just send whatever…

If people only dated people who were equally as attractive as they are then you would have never dated this girl in question according to yourself. These girls you’re talking about choose to date guys who are less attractive aren’t emphasizing appearances in their partners like you are. Those guys probably make them feel appreciated for a lot more than just the way they look. I think you’re less focused on the way your potential partner appears and more focused on the way that having a beautiful…

there are other good things about me I’m sure, but not things you can see right away. If you ever want other people to see you for more than your looks/money then you need to be able to offer the same. This mentality you’re cultivating is going to lead you through a lot of shallow ass relationships and you’re going to have no one to blame but yourself. This may be nbd to you if all you want is to bang some hot chicks, but you’re going to wake up one day and wonder why all these people are choosi…

Why is it gross to hang out with someone you used to fuck around with?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
