You're right of course but I figured I'd put my comment on. I've answered from observation and applied the disclaimer of being demi. I think I misread 1), but it's still a no, because demi so edited.

1) Not if they have shown those traits in front of me. I take rumours and gossip with a grain of salt. Many of these people are very good at hiding those traits. 2) Probably not. I'm demi, so that may have an effect. 3) No question 3. 4) They mask it for long enough that people develop feelings, or feel like they can change them, or feel like they are that way for a reason... Honestly they play on pity a lot of the time once they start showing up how bad they are. 5) Bad people who have success …

That's because the blue pill doesn't exist as an ideology like the red pill does. The blue pill is just a name the red pill applies to mainstream thinking so it has a straw man.

Honestly, even if you don't want to be a SAHM if you want to have kids with all of the medical trauma that can entail it would be irresponsible to not take into account that the parent who isn't birthing them might need to support the whole household for a time during a recovery period. Also, kids are expensive. Edited for spelling.

I was going to say that the modern equivalent of "submissive wife" is unattractive to women but you nailed it.

Maybe think of it like a "friend crush"? Where you want to spend time someone and get to know them? It's not sexual attraction at that point just really good chemistry that has the potential to turn into sexual attraction.

Even then, it would more likely be use by people who want children but would be endangered by carrying them. Wanting to end a pregnancy is sometimes about more than not wanting to carry or raise a child.

I honestly went looking for this, and I'll admit that when they talked about flushing the uterus I crossed my legs. (Anything going into the cervix counts as invasive.) I can't see anything about it being done in humans though. I'm basing the opinion on us not being able to remove and re position ectopic pregnancies (which implant outside the uterus) and those having to be aborted so they don't kill the mother.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 04:52 PM
12

I don't think so. Removing a foetus would be incredibly invasive and you'd probably have to wait to a certain point of development to do so which means that the person would have to be pregnant for a while. Also some people don't want their genetic children walking around even if they don't have to carry them (I'm thinking SA victims). That's leaving aside that abortion is a medical umbrella term for a lot of things, not just removing unwanted pregnancies but unviable pregnancies and removing de…

A bit of concealer under the eyes and foundation above the beard line. Clear mascara can make your eyes pop as well. Also making sure you've got your optimal beard shape and its clean and healthy . Then getting your eyebrows cleaned up (you don't have to take away the whole thing or have weird Vulcan brows, but taking out the stray hairs and the unibrow) and a bit of eyebrow pencil to make them more defined. I may have thought about this for a minute to long.

I live in the UK and I've been cat called, followed and once I accidentally made eye contact with a guy at a pedestrian crossing and he tried to get my number and when I politely declined he followed me up the street shouting at me that I'm a frigid lesbian. It happens everywhere.

Because humans are more than their tits and ass. Physical attraction is crucial for a sexual relationship, but it can only be the only thing you're looking at if you want a relationship which is only sexual, and even then the mental and emotional parts play a part in sexual attraction. If the relationship isn't just sex and is a ltr (married or not) you need more. Ticking boxes before I'll JUST talk to you, no. Be sure we're not just selecting for sex. Just selecting for sex and hotness seems de humanising to me. You're boiling someone down to if you want to f*ck them by looking at them and that's it? Ew. Unless it's a hookup we're selecting for a partner, and that should be someone who improves your life by being in it, and if that just boils down to sex for you, I'm sorry, but we're looking at the whole situation. For most of history children were seen as the property of their father or their father's family because they had inheritance rights. There was a flip in the 20th century to mother's being granted custody more often, but that's been gradually changing as men have been asking for custody more and have been more willing to do caretaking activities.

A lot of women would have significantly in lower counts than men think they do and men wouldn't believe it. I've noticed that a lot of men have a weird thing about thinking women lie about it. If I'd slept with all of the people I'm rumoured to have slept with then my count would be 3 times higher.

Homicide is a leading cause of maternal mortality. Maternal mortality rates in the USA are already insanely high, and the rate of homicide as a cause of death goes up by 16% during pregnancy and just after pregnancy. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34619735/ Once imagines that without available abortions those numbers will climb. I'm not sure what the male homicide rate has to do with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 03:52 PM

What he means is that those violent men who insist that the girl gets an abortion will either insist she gets an illegal and dangerous abortion (which might kill her), attempt to force a miscarriage through violence (which might kill her), or kill just her. Maternal mortality in the USA is very high. Homicide rates are higher for pregnant women than other groups.

There is the thing which compounds everything you've mentioned, depending on where you live we all spent a long period of time in lockdown and in the case of the under 21s that's a lot of time when they should have been out, finding out who they are, meeting people and having those experiences when they were shut up inside losing their social skills. It's not about fairness of act and I reject the concept that anal makes MM and different to FF, of only because you can say not to anal and then it's absolutely no different. It's about asking someone else to perform in a way they aren't comfortable with/that doesn't come naturally to them for your pleasure and not being willing to do that same.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 03:53 PM

That's why the whole FMF thing is annoying, tbh. There are men who expect their partners to perform with other women when they aren't bi, when they won't perform with other men when they aren't bi either. I don't get why anyone would reject someone they otherwise get over being bi.

They have a bunch of massaged statistics about how they think women behave because it fits into their transactional world view. They don't even consider believing women when they speak. I started looking at this sub because I was genuinely curious about trp, but honestly it's given me the answers I was after. Before the 1800s female sexuality was considered to be the more predatory, active and dangerous. The switch over to considering women to be passive is a cultural cliche which is not based in actuality. Women being like that at celebrities has nothing to do with them being more attractive, or up to a level of attractiveness, but more because women's sexuality tends to be more cerebral, rather than based purely on physical appearance. To put it bluntly, they can imagine the celebrity to be the thi…

Why do you guys keep insisting that looks is the only thing that makes someone sexually desirable, and it's the only metric that matters? Personality doesn't make for looks and can make someone more sexually desirable. It's entirely subjective, but it's true.

Hey, the thread asked when we stopped trusting men. I've been being approached by men since I was a literal child. It's genuinely creepy having someone old enough to be your father hitting on you. I don't view all men negatively. But the hard fact is that if you meet 50 people and one is an asshole, the other 49 people stick in you're mind less than the asshole. I just think people should date their own age until they are about 25 and are less likely to be manipulated. That covers men as well as…

Beyond 25-26 it stops mattering, but before that their brains are still growing and it makes me uncomfortable. 1-2 years age difference when one of the partners is younger than about 25 is fine, more than that is a bit creepy. I'll extend it to both sexes because while I've never had a guy tell me about it, I'll assume it swings both ways. It just seems a bit R.Kelly beyond that.

Hun, I'm 38. I know you're not all bad. But when a guy starts talking about preferring younger less jaded women, that's the alarm bell that rings. A lot of women have at one point of another had someone try to groom them, or know someone who has had someone try to groom them and that's at least partially why a lot of women react badly to this kind of thing.

Because you're talking like the kind of older men who hit on us in our early 20s, were gross, and made us jaded? People still separated, but he always got the children because they were legally his. Everything she earned was also legally his. Very heavy vetting. When I was single I didn't use OLD, but I never went out with anyone who asked me, and I only went out with people I asked who I already knew socially and had something in common with. Cooking on an open fire for survivalism isn't the same as feeding a household from what seasonally available, but that's pretty much my only point. Making butter and cheese which increase available calories, preserving and storing foods like salting meat and pickling etc... It's actually a lot of you start going through old cook books and manuals and looking at what women where expected to know. But yeah, I think we're pretty much on the same page.

Yeah, I've done festival set up (putting up marquees etc) and take down and realised its not for me. There is still and issue with men in those industries making it hard for women by either not hiring them or not accepting they are not the same. A lot of safety equipment isn't designed with women in mind. It's not malice, its just it was designed by men who didn't consider what would happen if someone who isn't a man tried to use it. Humans individually are a random enigma. Gender irrelevant. Also a lot of guys on here try to tell women what they're attracted to, and refuse to acknowledge that there are aspects of sexual attraction which are not physical sexual attraction. Because if 10-15% of men are creeps and they abuse or creep out 10 women, then we all have a bad story.

Because of that low percentage of creeps each creeps out a couple of women a year, eventually we all have a bad experience.

Guys are posting about a study that seems to show that women aren't physically attracted to the bottom 80%, just one problem with that. Female sexuality isn't like make sexuality and just using a study based on looks isn't going to cut it because men have been deciding that women work like men and getting upset when we don't for literal aeons. We know that women can be sexually attracted to people for more reasons than just looks. While I am not arguing with the study itself, I will argue that w…

Actually, the way they're trying to game it and work out the rules for dealing with other humans who are entirely subjective beings makes me think they want to treat it like a computer game. There is a lot of game thinking on this sub. There are less rules they think and they are as subjective as the people.

The pair bonding thing is rubbish. Women's pair bonding doesn't decrease with dating experience. Generally what women gain with experience is an idea of what they want and what they are and are not willing to put up with. It means they establish healthy boundaries. Once you've worked out what you want it's fairly easy to work out when someone is wasting your time and can't be what you want. Sometimes you need to see exactly what you don't want to work out what you do want. What a lot of women ha…

If you can't read non verbal ques you're likely to be bad, basically. With all if the best will in the world, you can tell someone what to do, but if they can't get a read, then it's going to suck.

This. The vast majority of women I've known in my life don't want to be chased like that. If they're saying no and you keep trying it will come across as either pathetic not threatening. If they want to be chased like that and refuse to be honest about it then you're dodging a bullet by walking away.

Well, no. Because at that point you're only selecting for fighting to the death rather than anything else and that wouldn't build a stable society. You're also assuming that women would be willing to acquiesce to it, and I doubt that we would because we're not really interested in being told who we have to breed with. All of that being said however, hand to hand or swords?

The thing is, you don't need to get married to cohabit, commit, and have a good LTR. Women want LTRs, it's just that doesn't automatically mean getting married. I was quite happy to be single and live on my own and not date for years before I met someone who I could have the LTR I want with. I think there is a move away from marriage being the only acceptable LTR commitment. Also weddings are expensive, and honestly it makes more financial sense to buy a house rather than a dress you only wear o…

It's selfies as well. Cameras on phones strip the planes out of your face. The fashion for contouring happened at the same time as selfies because you have to put the highlights and shadows back in. Selfies and literally shaping how we see ourselves and our beauty habits. I think a lot of it is driven by seeing ourselves in pictures in a frozen moment, which frequently isn't anything like now we looking in real life and moving, so we have to warp the beauty standards more to make ourselves look …

Oh, I get that. I was making the point that the virginity/hymen thing is a construction for male egos and not a physical actuality. Obviously there are enough women who bleed (or in the past managed to make it look like they did) for them to think it matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/21 11:18 PM

There is no way of telling if a woman is a virgin or not. Some women don't have hymens. Some don't break, because it's just stretchy frill. Some break from exercise. Just a factual FYI rather than an argument.

Honestly, there comes a point when you look at the legal benefits a spouse gets automatically in an emergency and its a whole lot simpler to just go down to the registry office since get the paperwork sorted. If you're doing it for the bit of paper it's not like you need to do anything other than sign some paperwork. (You can get married without the troublesome wedding section.) I was thinking about this a lot last year while I was worrying what would happen if my partner got Covid and was hospi…

They've been sold a dream of the happiest day of their lives and they believe in it. They've been sold it all of their lives with Disney princesses who get married and live happily ever after. Older relatives look at it as a hallmark of adulthood. In religious households it's sold as the only valid relationship. They are sold that they want to get married in the majority of media and they believed it. So, yes they might be mentally ill. But I think it's social programming.

Sometimes, yes, sometimes no. Without the bit of paper I'm not a designated family member. We already did something more significant than getting married, we bought a house. I don't care about dresses, or ceremonies, or a ring. I do care about being called if he's in an accident and in hospital, being allowed in, and being sure someone else isn't on charge of his care. That's pretty much it. I'm English and common law marriage doesn't exist here. On the upside you can register a civil partnershi…

They're bigger than me? Tend to be more confident because they're bigger (I think that's a societal thing). Can get things from high shelves. Likely to have issues with their knees. It's one thing in a lot of things. Do they have a handsome face? How are they built? Are they funny? Are then mind numbingly boring? I've found tall guys attractive, but not purely because they're tall.

It depends. I dated a guy who was 5'5 and he had kind of a bad case of little man syndrome about it. It might not have been the height, but the attitude problem and the gave the height as the reason. Of course you can only go on what they say, but sometimes the attitude problem is tied into the height.

I'm 5 feet tall, so it's never made that much difference. Everyone is bigger than me. Being over 6 ft is overrated because it's one a number of factors that makes someone attractive or not attractive. Anyone who can list of something that they do or don't find attractive like that as a deal breaker if you don't have it has a kink. It might be a really common kink, but if it's a deal breaker for them if everything else is perfect...? It's like when guys say they want a perfect 10/10. I'm not sure…

Because mother's caring for their children and being the primary care giver is assumed. Men doing so is seen as extra. Just look at the people who refer to a father parenting his own children as "babysitting".

You can be sexually into someone for reasons that have nothing to do with physical attraction. I'm not physically into anyone the first time I see them. That's why I don't do casual encounters. I'm demisexual. It's not humiliating. It the way some people's brains are wired. Some people just don't work that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 11:19 PM

Please entertain the concept that attraction isn't purely limited to physical attraction, you can be attracted to a person because they are smart or funny or charming or kind, and you only find out about that when you've known someone for a while.

Yeah. And then you have a conversation that goes "But the girls in porn like it..." "They're paid to like it..." Etc It's all kinds of demoralising and this is coming from a country with reasonable sex education (UK). In a country like the USA with limited and poor sex education it's going to be worse. But yeah, that's the reasonable explanation as to why girls might mind their dates watching porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 04:45 PM

Depends. If they read erotica and they then expect their partner to act out scenes from it? Yes. If they just read erotica? No. I don't care if men watch porn. But I have known men who've pushed it too far, and it's that group that causes the issues. Porn and erotica are idealised. No one actually has sex like that. However there are men (and probably women) who think they do, and because a lot of porn is degrading to women, they degrade their partners, and they try and make like they're in porn…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 02:42 PM

Actually the reason that women dislike men using porn if it isn't low self esteem based (that is a thing) is because it gives men unrealistic ideas about what sex is and what ones partner might agree to based on becoming acclimated to porn.

I think this is it, really. Once everyone is over 25 or so the age gaps tend to evaporate. They are less important so long as you want to same things. Under 25 and there are older guys who are in the same place as you are because they haven't emotionally developed past it, and they can't get a woman their own age. Predators who want someone they can control and shape. They can't get women their own age either. Older guys who want to relive their glory days. It's not good. While there may be men …
