It's been an occasional problem for several years, but it got really bad.... Has your libido always been low? or is it just since the foreplay has started diminishing? If it's always been low, hormone imbalances that kill libido aren't just for men. Would be worth talking to your doctor about. Do you take any personal time for sex? just you getting to know you and your body more? You mentioned that you were raised very conservatively. Getting to the point of being to talk and joke about the topi…

I don't think it's bad at all. You are literally paying him to be the one in charge of making sure everything goes right. You don't have to worry about forgetting anything so most of your stress is shifted to him. And, the chances of something being forgotten is so much smaller since this is what he does all the time, most of it is auto pilot for him just fill in details.

I think getting a planner is a brilliant decision. I wish I had, because stress sends my planning abilities down the drain. Just about everything that could go wrong, did, except that everyone who was coming made it on time, and no one passed out or got sick. So I really felt like I had dropped the ball, worried the whole time that the people I invited weren't having a good time when I should have just been enjoying having everyone there to celebrate my husband and I making our commitment legal …

My hair looks really good in sort of a shaggy bob, or when it just brushes my shoulders. Any shorter and I look like a dude, and any longer the thickness of it makes it look like plain dead weight, it has no life and no bounce to it. My sister has hair that, when braided, still reaches her butt. It is gorgeous, but she can't really do anything with it. She keeps it braided 90% of the time because if you look at it sideways it tangles and catches on clothes and furniture and the car... And she sa…

adding pureed veggies to everything really works. My brother hates carrots, unless they are absolutely drowning in hummus or ranch. When I make meatloaf, I shred/pulverize just about any vegetable I have on hand and mix it in. A good seasoning balance (plenty of heat) makes it neither of my veg-avoidant guys cares. They barely notice. I also do mashed cauli, and everyone is happier if I do about 50/50 cauli and potatos. Haven't tried the flakes yet, but that would be easier. Both of them used to…

That's another part that I'm working on. I'll be good on something for a while, then a big stress hits and I fall off the system and it takes half of forever for me to get going again. I do pretty well on low carb, but that's difficult both financially and because the people I live with and cook for will not do it with me.

If your oven consistently runs hot, you should make sure to get an oven thermometer (it hangs on the front of the rack) so you can make sure that you are baking at the correct temp. This helps calibrate both for gauges that are off, or where the numbers have been worn off from age. If you set the oven to 450 and it turns out 500, you're going to have a bad time. Especially for things that only take ~10-15 minutes to bake, like cookies, even a 25 degree difference (F) can make a world of differen…

the gel toilet cleaner with bleach is a miracle for shower grout. the last tenants here left it really gross, i put some on, left it overnight, and didn't even have to scrub at it the next day. (overlap between sets of tenants meant no pro clean in between)

shallow pan, like a frying pan ideally, with a light colored bottom so you can see what is going on. medium heat, stir frequently. it'll start foaming and stop before it really starts turning. Don't wait until it looks like the color you want (the darker the nuttier up until it burns), take it off a little before since the pan will stay hot for a bit after it's removed from the stove. To keep it from browning/burning after you take it off, as soon as feasible pour it off into something. Not plas…

Sounds exciting! Going to be getting to the library in my new town pretty soon so I can check out some of these books I keep hearing so much about

I believe it has to do specifically with the milk solids. I don't know the chemistry of it, nor have I tried with anything other than real butter. A quick google indicates that butter is really the best, but some people have had decent results with non-butter. In particular something called "earth balance"

one way to really kick up any baked good (that uses butter) is to brown and cool the butter first. takes maybe 10 minutes before it is usable/won't melt other ingredients, and takes it from this is great to OMG I NEED THIS RECIPE
