| 1 | I saw a story about Darius Huggins, a 17 year old Autistic Teenage boy who went to the prom with his mom because he was rejected 4 times. Although it was wholesome and the boy looked happy, a lot of females made comments saying "women have the right to say no" when that clearly wasn't the issueDo guys (assuming you are a man) also notice that neurotypical men respond to you more fairly and more chill generally than neurotypical women do? I’ve noticed that a lot as an autistic woman but it’s interesting if they’re that way with autistic men, too. I just recently learned I was autistic, and it finally makes sense to me why I’ve had such weird interactions with so many women my whole life lol. Turns out, they hate me bc I’m autistic and don’t do the performative rituals or whatever | /r/MensRights | 04/06/26 06:51 AM |

Neurotypical and autistic men seem to respond to autistic men and women much more favorably than neurotypical women do. | /r/MensRights | 04/06/26 06:46 AM |

For decades, autistic women and girls were misdiagnosed because practitioners and “experts” were under the misapprehension that autism was a condition that inflicted almost exclusively men and boys. All of their caring about autism was focused near exclusively on boys and men. Maybe their recent realization that autism also affects girls has lead to increased visibility of that issue esp on social media, making it seem like they currently only care about it when it affects… | /r/MensRights | 04/06/26 06:39 AM |
