I'm still not defending her behavior. She should have stayed put and kept her mouth shut But broken nose ....ouch. Just lot of blood on the floor and her face put me off a bit

Right. I understand that she should have kept her mouth shut and not tried to walk away but I also was not happy to see that amount of blood on the concrete and on her face... and in all honesty the condescending attitude in the way the cop was talking to the other officer(about her )after she was cuffed and sitting there bleeding was just annoying. He could have taken that opportunity to phone for medical backup and then talked shit about her. Not defending her actions, just saying she needed m…

I don't agree with acting up when dealing with police either and think she should have stayed put and kept her mouth shut but the blood on cement and her face threw me off as well.

You're correct. I've been schooled. Was just put off by the amount of blood but I'm sure medics/ EMT'S were called to handle any injuries

True. A few other people mentioned that as well as fact that this all happened pretty fast and it was the cop who was wearing the camera as part of his protocol so I don't doubt medics were called.

I get your point, was just put off by the amount of blood. Not defending her behavior. She was wrong to attempt leaving in the first place

It's still the police officers civil duty (or human duty) to at least assess the injury . There was a good deal of blood on the cement and as she came up you could see that it was smeared on her face. The cops stood around and conversed about her age, her actions and their reaction rather than immediately call for medical help or even discuss it. I'm thinking this belongs in r/badcopnodonut. Gender wasn't the issue here for me

I'm with you. I was pretty put off by the amount of blood and regard less of whether she fell forward or her face was smashed into the ground I saw no attempt at anyone taking a look to see if she was OK or trying to assess the extent of her injury. I'm assuming I'll be downvoted to death but the lack of concern for the amount of blood was gross. I'd feel the same way if it was a man on the ground.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
