As a woman, I find this to be a terrible idea. 90% of women in the workplace use the workplace as 100% of their social fulfillment. They do about 5 minutes of work, then talk for twenty five. It's aggravating. I come to work to work, I can be friendly to people without compromising that. It's asinine how much productivity is wasted with women in the workplace. If he wants you to be his girlfriend, he will ask you. The fact he hasn't means that he might like you, but doesn't see you as wife material. Men are very simple in that regard. If he wants you to himself, he will make you aware of that. You should walk away.

You are being selfish, similarly a woman who decides to raise a child on her own...or when your wife decided to poison your daughter against you bc she didn't "need" you. Parenting is a selfless job, the concern for the child comes first. I understand the desire is strong but it's best for any child to have a mother and a father.

Your second wife is strong willed and doesn't put up with bullshit, she also doesn't want a man who puts up with bullshit. Be grateful you found a woman as strong as her who is willing to put up with the ex wife. Strong men shouldn't take bullshit, strong women shouldn't either. She said it in a way that sounded strange, identify the intention not her word choice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
