Honestly I'm with you on this. It seems like it's just trying to be blatantly offensive, and websites like this one are what gives the MRM a bad name and make people think we're some extremist hate group.

I'm honestly quite relieved to see some disdain for redpill here. It's more and more common that I see people equate MR and redpill, and it sickens me every time I see it.

Usually I'd agree with your idea that more discussion needs to take place outside the sub, but yeah - SRS isn't the place to do it. You'll just get banned, it isn't worth the effort.

I'm trans myself and I feel like I can contest the idea that we don't realize how few feminists actually care a smidge about trans rights. A lot of us realize it full well - there's an entire sect of feminism called 'trans-exclusionary radical feminism'. It's not so much that trans people seek out feminism, and more that feminists seek to use trans issues as ammo to push their own misguided views. I hate being associated with feminists.

It's RobotAnna, who I believe is a prominent moderator within the ShitRedditSays community.

Welp, reading this thread was a mistake. Now I'm just angry.

Jesus, that infuriates me. I can't tell you how many times I've been tempted to tear down a poster put up by an ignorant radfem citing false data, but I haven't because that's not fair and everyone should get their say. Doesn't surprise me that they don't see it the same way.

Exactly. Let's not be bitter about it.

I'm not sure if you read the OP or not, but *she, not he. But yes, real world examples would potentially be very potent, especially if I could get them to speak at an event.

That's what I was hoping for, but I was afraid of being too optimistic...

I have no advice for you, I'm afraid, although I would like to echo the sentiments of others - get a lawyer, be VERY careful about what you say without one, and don't lose hope. I wish you all the best.

Talked about it with a couple of friends I met at university. One insisted on remaining neutral (fair enough, really) and one of them expressed interest in the movement.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
