True, ultimate, confidence is when you have faith that you will succeed at ANYTHING you try, even if you’ve never done it I don't think you can just run out into the world guns blazing with this attitude. It can be more detrimental than helpful for a lot of people. Play your part and don't bite off more than you can chew. Basically: Some people are too confident. Don't be one of them. Be cool.

I'm an introvert... I have very few friends in general. And in my experience, most women can't be platonic friends with me.

I find genuine empathy to be rare in women...

Well either way, my stance on gender issues is still that it's a mental condition and there's nothing biological about it. There would need to be some pretty hard-core research and evidence for me to change my mind about that. The John/Joan case sounds very much like they tried to force something unnatural onto a soul that didn't want it. Also, what that doctor was doing with those young boys sounded prettyyyy sketchy lol. Some people become goths. Nobody really influenced them to become goths, …

So believe you're cured, and stop hurting yourself. It's not as simple as that but I have improved my mental health and I can fight to change my state of mind when I'm having a bad day.

Their brain is a brain. Brains can change. Did anybody do any readings on David Bowie when he became homesexual/almost trans for a while then became straight again? I would be interested to know if his entire brain structure changed and I would believe it if it genuinely did. I understand that our beliefs shape our whole reality. Where do you live? A place where we argue about things that are irrelevant meanwhile our species is on the brink of extinction.

Ummmm noooo excuse me honey, did you just assume my political affiliation? /s I have no political affiliations. Unhappy brains look different to happy brains. A brain that's watching TV looks different to a brain that's playing sport. Yes it really does need to be studied further, I definitely agree.

Gender and sex are the same thing. They describe the type of body you have and your reproductive organs. The only gender or sex that someone can be outside of male or female is to be born as a hermaphrodite. Everything else is just a description of the type of male/female/hermaphrodite that you are... So we have Hetero males, hetero females, bisexual males, homosexual females, trans males etc. etc. and you can make up whatever little subculture you want and stick it in there for all anybody care…

More often than not, I'm one of the most attractive males in a group, if not the most attractive... more often than not, I'm going home alone while the louder and pushier guys have successfully forced themselves onto some women.

All it does is highlight the horrible stuff on the manosphere and adds fuel to the fire.

I'm not a Red Piller but the Blue Pill sub is horrible. The only humour I find there is in how absolutely uninformed all the members are about who and what TRP is... To be honest I was pretty disappointed. I wanted to see a subreddit which debunked TRP but honestly TBP just re-enforces everything I know about TRP.

I don't know if women just say this to make me feel good, but I've been told I am "the perfect size" by more than a handful. Say a quarter of all the women I've slept with. I'm just shy of 6 unless I cheat and measure from underneath then I'm 6 or just over... Either way I don't feel very big. I'm happy with what I've got although I can't stay super hard the whole time so sometimes I wish I had the energy to keep at full length the whole time lol. But really what gets me a higher score when I'm …

When children first go to school, they should be nurtured and encouraged to find their true talents by the time they are 18 instead of the current system of regurgitating information. From there, the "crappy" jobs in society are taken care of by mature students who are still progressing towards the job they are best at. In adulthood, all humans should be living a meaningful existence full of abundance and comfortable living conditions. Humans should be re-using as much as possible instead of was…

I have a low opinion of ''most' women in our westernised societies yes, when it comes to relationships. All humans are flawed also, it's not fair to say who is more flawed really. If you're told to meet "Alex" and it turns out it's a woman though you expected a man, do you feel disappointed? If I'm anonamously meeting someone called Alex, it would probably be for some kind of professional appointment so I wouldn't have any strong feelings about what gender they are. I can happily co-exist with w…

Of course it matters how good I am. And I'm pretty damn good. And I'm always improving but I'm not competing with anyone but myself.

I'm not dissing any artists in particular... nor am I dissing them per se. My only problem with modern art is how much certain types of paintings sell for. Abstract and improv type art may be beautiful but if it's not impressively detailed and hard to achieve, it shouldn't be worth a load of money I think. I've seen a 6 foot canvas with a colourful splat and an odd shaped stick man figure that was selling for quite a lot of money. I could have painted a very similar painting with very little exp…

I don't really do commercial projects often. I have a day job and I only take on creative work if it's something I will enjoy. I don't do weddings for example. And mostly I'm just out making awesome pictures happen by myself. But for clients I have done video work, created logos, assisted with visual displays... It's hard to define in one category what I do. I suppose there's some branding and marketing involved too but mostly it's about my camera work. I just say art though. It's all art. And a…

Well considering what passes for modern art these days... and the fact that photography is an art form... and the fact that I paint with light in a lot of my photos in ways which require skill and artistic talent, and the fact that all my friends and clients have referred to me as an artist: I'm an artist.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/17 06:38 PM

Well right now it's photography... but I call it art because I put like 1000% more effort into it than anybody else I've met. And I enhance my photos with certain techniques and I can get really in depth with my creativity when trying to help a client achieve a certain look for their business or whatever it is. I'm generally pretty good at most creative things though. And I used to be a graffiti artist when I was younger lol.

I would probably have some more Gamma traits if I hadn't been born with a pretty face... And I definitely was a Gamma for a while after my first LTR messed me up many years ago. Hopefully I'm not any more but I'm pretty self aware and I struggle with depression often so maybe I am. Sigma sounds a lot like me too though.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/17 05:25 PM

Thanks for that. I'm none the wiser but still! I'd say I have a mixture of traits from nearly all of those descriptions, depending on the time and place. Sigma and Lambda mostly I think.

I said I'd rather do my hobbies 4 in 5 times instead of sex... what I really meant was that I would prioritise my hobbies 4 in 5 times over sex.

And on the other hand it can turn some women off. If you can do a bit of both, i.e. show some intelligence while still holding the frame of a bad boy then you're a winner.

Personally I don't want to shape up to "successful" men. I am an amazing person (not going to explain myself) But the only reason I would want to be more "successful" is to attract women and that just seems like such a vain reason to go after something. Not to mention the fact that I would resent any woman who entered my life as a "successful" man because like where was she when I actually needed her? I live within my means in a greedy society who celebrate eachothers ability to achieve more tok…
