How do I not internalize "all men are trash" content online?Don't take it on, bypass the internalisation by realising you're an individual and are responsible for your actions and not the male gender as a whole. This group identity politics is prejudice, no matter whether it is race, sex, ethnicity or sexual orientation. | /r/ExRedPill | 18/06/24 06:18 AM
I guess the dose makes the poison?Yes, there is some truth to the 'Red Pill', but red pillers take what truth there is and make it into binary or black-and-white simplistic aphorisms when reality is far more complex. It becomes a skewed ideology, adhered to with religious fervour. I'm 47 myself and this 'red pill' stuff has been around since the early 2000's, in some form or another on the internet, it's only just blown up in the past few years. | /r/ExRedPill | 07/01/24 02:08 PM
The more you meet women, the more you realize they're all the sameIf you're a bit different from the mainstream, perhaps neurodiverse, someone who doesn't fit in with popular culture, you'll find this with people in general. This exact scenario could be for a woman dealing with a neurotypical man. It's hard to find people you can relate to if you're a bit eccentric, when looking for a friend or partner in life, whether a man or a woman. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/01/24 02:04 AM
Manosphere exit surveyWhilst anyone can conduct a survey, the rest of what you have said is quite pertinent. 'The Red Pill' has been around since the early 2000's in one form or another. mASF (fastseduction.com/), sosuave.net PUA forums, avoiceformen.com, the now defunct mancoat forum, AngryHarry (angryharry.mra-archive.com), no-maam.blogspot.com to name a few. | /r/ExRedPill | 05/01/24 10:02 PM
| -8 | What do I do if I have been abused as an autistic man for 4 years by a subreddit?Sadly, you sound like the inverse of a MGTOW, Red Piller. Just replace 'majority of men' with 'majority of women'. | /r/ExRedPill | 29/12/23 05:26 AM |
What do I do if I have been abused as an autistic man for 4 years by a subreddit?Stop going to these awful subreddits. People online hide behind anonymity and say things they wouldn't ever say IRL. Surely you must realise this? Do you go anywhere to meet real people in the flesh? | /r/ExRedPill | 29/12/23 05:24 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?Well, with that attitude, you won't. Give up the 'poor me, nothing good ever happens to me' naval gazing victim thinking. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy because you take no action in finding others. Move forward, do something, anything, just make a start. Church, bowling club, choir, sporting club etc. Insanity is doing the same thing, expecting different results. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPnWbj70TTY | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 08:46 PM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?Well, you can put an end to being the recipient of abuse by not participating. Pain and rejection are part of life, so is enjoyment and acceptance, just finding people that you click with. If you are an introvert and have a less mainstream outlook, interests, it takes time to find those who you can relate to. | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 09:43 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend? There's no point nor purpose to life than what you find in it. Perhaps you'll start to care when you find meaning. You certainly won't in allowing your family to abuse you. In fact, they are likely central as to why you feel you don't care about your life. You cannot build self-respect when those around you are tearing it down. | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 07:04 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?Your therapy could be merely putting yourself as the first priority in your life. | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 06:54 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?Well, if you have brought it up with them about their abuse and they won't change, you have 3 options, continue receive abuse passively, retort with something that dismisses it that could be as simple as 'Im not interested in the slightest what you think', or remove yourself exposing yourself from the abuse. Have you thought about getting some therapy/counselling to work through this? | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 05:46 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?I have a couple of family members that I no longer have contact with, I used to react to them because what they did and said hurt me. Then I realised they won't change; I am letting them maliciously control me and now I just have no desire to deal with them anymore. I'm not saying cut them off, just put yourself in drivers seat, not them. | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 05:35 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?Well so what if they got mad, perhaps they are using anger as a way to control you. Who's problem is it? It certainly isn't yours unless you react to it. | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 05:17 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?I suppose you could just tell them they sound like a broken record and it's boring you. Personally I now eliminate, or if not possible, at least minimise contact with abusive people. Problem is, sometimes there is a fine line between banter, a joke and and insult or abuse and sometimes a retort or two in retaliation keeps them at bay, if you cannot avoid the person/people. | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 05:11 AM
Does anyone else’s family make fun of them for never having a girlfriend?I'm making an assumption that you react emotionally to them, encouraging further fun making. Instead, perhaps agree and amplify (yes a red pill doctrine, but effective), for example reply: 'yes and I spend all my free time and money on Only Fans trying to fill the void of loneliness' or simply 'yeah, forever alone'. Just don't take it seriously. They're just trying to get a rise out of you. | /r/ExRedPill | 27/12/23 04:39 AM
Oh give me a f**king break.I cannot take this shit seriously. | /r/MensRights | 19/03/22 04:18 PM
Women's lives are more precious than men'sThere is a video called 'Feminism and the Disposable Male' by Karen Straughan (Girlwriteswhat) from 10 years ago that explains in depth, the title of the OP's post: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp8tToFv-bA | /r/MensRights | 13/03/22 10:56 AM
I'm done with herWomen who blame all men being assholes for their poor choices of men are a very large subset of women. It is not politically correct to politely challenge their views in Western society, lest you become an 'asshole' too...ironically. | /r/MensRights | 13/03/22 10:48 AM
I'm done with herSome men do mansplain, some men are sexist, just as many women are sexists. However, women get a complete free pass at being sexist nowadays, whilst men do not, so please don't consider I am being a feminist apologist by stating the above. | /r/MensRights | 13/03/22 10:43 AM
Gender Pay Gap Bot calls out brands tweeting about International Women's Day while paying women less than menSadly, we will see this next year, and the next and the next etc, I don't expect western society to appreciate men anytime soon...and I ain't holding my breath. | /r/MensRights | 12/03/22 04:29 PM
It's unfair and depressing watching a 40 year old perfectly healthy woman leave the country while im 18 and male and because im male im forced to stay behind and die - my ukraine friend"This is a war brought about by elite men, and the consequences fall disproportionately on women, children and other vulnerable populations." This is another example of 'Apex fallacy' where feminists et al focus and consider only men at the top of the pecking order: https://wiki4men.com/wiki/Apex\_fallacy | /r/MensRights | 11/03/22 09:51 AM
