When I first tried being an escort client to get my needs met, I was unsuccessful, because I didn't know how to do it well. I still felt something was missing. So I got married, and divorced 14 years later. Now I'm seeing 2-3 escorts on a regular basis that I've been able to build a real connection with, and I find my needs are being met much better than when married. It's also important to have a mission in life that's more important than relationships with sex partner(s), but at the same time …

Not really, with prostitution you know what the costs are up front.

The great thing about being MGTOW is we don't have to worry about shutting down shit tests any more -- because we don't care whether we pass them or not. We're going our own way. PUA guys spend time and energy trying to figure out how to handle all the shit tests that get thrown their way -- I'd rather do something else with that time and energy.

See sidebar rules 1 and 6 -- I think this violates both of them.

They can make fun of us all they want -- I'll be laughing all the way to the bank with the money I save by not spending it chasing pussy.

Ok, maybe good sound quality isn't that hard to achieve. But here's a gold-digger video that isn't staged -- far more believable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XJlP3WcLz0

Not to invalidate the message of the videos, but I suspect everyone in them are paid actors. The sound quality is too good. The guy is just making up videos that will get more views.

I've tried therapy -- but just talking doesn't do much for me to alleviate loneliness. I need the touch -- and professional cuddlers are good at talking too :)

You're not constructing the need in your head. Human contact is an essential need. What's helped me in your kind of situation has been seeing a professional cuddler once a week. It's really helped lift the chronic emotional pain which was weighing me down. Blue balls is a possible side effect, but I find the benefits of cuddling to be worth that annoyance. Google "professional cuddling" to get more info.

I couldn't stand to live with 4 other people. Assuming you need to have a vehicle anyway, no rent is going to be cheaper than living in your vehicle.

The city police department has maps they publish showing where it's ok to park and dwell overnight: https://www.lacity.org/for-residents/popular-information/comprehensive-homeless-strategy-implementation/los-angeles-municipal-code-lamc-8502-vehicle-dwelling For people who live in a city that doesn't officially permit that, it's best to get a white cargo van with no windows. Those things are ubiquitous, they blend in with the landscape and no one is going to suspect you're sleeping in there. This…

I live in California where there's a whole subculture of people who live in their vans, because housing prices are just insane. I bought an older van from a guy who was living in it, but was ready to buy a newer van. The older van I bought has been modified so there's a bed in the back, with storage space underneath. One of the 2nd row chairs has been turned around so it can be used as an office chair, and I put a small table on the bed when I want to use my laptop in my van. The van has a 110V …

Blueballs can happen, but I'd rather put up with that temporary discomfort (take some ibuprofen) than suffer from the depression of prolonged touch deprivation.

Yes, professional cuddling is a very new but growing industry. Google it for more info. However, when you're with a professional cuddler there is no kissing, and certainly no "grabbing" of any part of her body that would normally be covered by a bikini. But there is lots of prolonged full body-to-body contact, which seems to release enough oxytocin-like chemicals in my system that it keeps me feeling better than average for 4-5 days afterwards. And the cost is low enough ($60-$80 per hour) that …

I agree that sex is over-rated, but I think human touch and connection is under-rated. I find that if I get enough cuddling and touch I can function and even thrive in life, even when I'm not getting sex. But without any human touch for a few years, I get so depressed I can't function. When I can't find a good cuddle partner, I find that professional cuddlers meet the need quite well, much better than professional sex workers do.

Besides escorts, another solid alternative is professional cuddlers. I think the need for physical touch and the need for sex are two different things, with the need for touch being the more important of the two. Seeing a professional cuddler can be sexually frustrating since I can't escalate, but the bit of temporary frustration during the hour-long session is worth it given how good I feel for a few days after getting my needs for physical touch met. Professional cuddlers are way less expensiv…

If you enjoy your job and don't dream of doing something else, and you can keep doing your job as you get older, then there really isn't much point to retiring early. I plan to keep working in my chosen profession until I'm 80, or even older if I can.

It seems to me we should always look for the win-win situation first, and only if it isn't there do we invoke the (ROC) Right of Conquest to make sure we're on the winning side and not the losing side. The trick is to know when to stop looking for the win-win and move into ROC mode.

I found this to be very helpful, but I changed it up a bit. I avoid using a negative. I say to myself "What would I do right now if I was really devoted to my mission?" I like how the "if" takes some of the pressure off -- I give myself permission every once in a while to not be devoted in the current moment -- knowing I can choose differently any time. The question makes it very clear, however, if I'm in alignment with my goals in the current moment or not.

Great post. It's easy to laugh at guys using the crude robot technology now, but it will continue to get better at a rapid rate. By 2030, guys who still have sex with human women may be the ones being laughed at. By then, it may be easy for a woman to effectively inhabit the body of a very attractive robot -- giving the best of both worlds.

I have two daughters myself, ages 14 and 11. I don't agree with the OP that a 1950's type lifestyle is best for my daughters -- nor is it very realistic in current culture. Should she follow the 1950's path, it's highly likely it will be a boring, sexless marriage after about 10 years. And there's a high risk she could become too dependent on him -- then she's left in a tough spot if there's a divorce. Lifetime monogamous marriage is over -- we need to accept that and try to find alternatives th…

I'd recommend you read the following sidebar material: http://puerarchy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/TheFuturist_TheMisandryBubble.pdf It's long, so if you don't have time to read it all, jump down to the section titled "The Four Horsemen of Male Emancipation". All we can do right now is work on the first horse (improve game). The rest will take care of itself -- just be in a position to enjoy the ride, as Omnibrad said.

Yeah, good story, but I don't get why he's "furious". We can't control other people's behavior. If we don't like their behavior, then just calmly leave. If you're ever going to have kids, be sure to put a paternity test into the pre-nup.

Sure she's like that -- rather than hate it and be angry about it, let's learn to accept it and thrive on it. People aren't monogamous, so let's figure out how to live with that fact happily.

It isn't cheating if I never made the promise to be exclusive. People simply aren't monogamous -- we need to accept that fact and learn to structure our lives to accept it and thrive on it.

I suppose some red pill therapists might exist, but they are really hard to find. You usually have to spend money for several sessions to be sure, and every time I've tried it turns out the guy is clearly blue pill.

No matter how alpha you are, you're not going to be perfect. At some point, some other man is going to seem more alpha to her, and the branch swing can happen. I structure my life so if that happens it's no big deal.

Lots of good food for thought here. Another aspect of this is that most engineers tend to have lower SMV than men in other professions (perhaps because of the autism spectrum?). So a woman's pattern recognition skews her opinion of engineers in general. The human brain is a faulty pattern recognition machine -- it tends to sterotype entire groups of people. So if you're an engineer, you need to prove you're not like the typical engineer. mwait posted that having alpha-like hobbies is one good wa…

Yeah, I think that's a good point. Engineer types have to have hobbies that appear alpha to women.

I agree -- why are so many concerned about whether or not she ever has sex with other men? If we're trying to get pregnant, I agree it's a concern (require paternity tests in the pre-nup) -- but other than that it's her business -- I can't control her nor should I. Trying to control another human being is a recipe for unhappiness. If I want to have kids myself, I'll just have to carefully choose a woman who's likely to remain on good terms with me even after she loses sexual interest in me.
/r/TheRedPill21/03/17 10:29 PM

I agree with you, but as men it is very wise to assume we're dealing with a woman who can and will do this. Because, you really can't tell no matter how well or how long you've known her. This kind of stuff can lie dormant in a woman for years and years. That's why it's important to keep at least two plates spinning at all times, so if she decides to leave it's no big deal.

Yup, this is just the way the world is now -- it won't change anytime soon. So I think it's best to just enjoy the company of attractive women while it lasts -- and be sure to keep dating skills sharp so it'll be easy to move on after she does.

So are guys here of the opinion that a woman should never be allowed to satisfy her desire for hypergamy once she's married? And she should only be allowed limited hypergamy before marriage?

Some guys recommend giving her a light hearted text about 6 months after she leaves -- just to let her know you'd take her back if she was interested.

Great question (full disclosure: I'm a RP guy lurking on this subreddit). It seems to me that traditional Lifetime Marriage up to now has been society's way of attempting to ban women's hypergamy and men's polygamy, therefore ensuring that many more men get their sexual needs met so they can be productive members of society. That has pretty much worked up until now. But Lifetime Marriage is now failing (for reasons as to why, see The Four Sirens in this article: http://puerarchy.com/wp-content/u…
