Intimidation is still a step to violence. If I charged a cop running full whale at him, you think he wouldn't put me on my ass? Then do you think a judge would side with you? Nah. Fact is if it were you and somebody charged you like that you wouldn't have waited to see what happens. Instinct is still a thing humans have. People need to remember that.
