Funny, but i'm not sure if this is really relevant to Men's Rights.

Wouldn't work- Feminists would just claim that they were objectifying her, and reinforcing male privilege. With their deaths.

Not sure if you could call the 'hijacking' unusual- a lot of news articles will (as a way of getting a wordcount when they have nothing to say) go off on a tangent about a vaguely related incident.

I'm confused; am I missing the /s there? I just made a joke.

Aikido master shows the ultimate defence against a blade-wielding opponent. Another view of the same technique.

Interesting claim. Source? How universal are these code words anyway?

What is that even supposed to mean? Can we not be as guilty as feminists of making stupid generalisations?

I know, but that's besides the point; we know next to nothing about the situation.

It's not outrageous to suggest someone might be too shy/shaken up to go forward immediately, and after not too long the evidence would be gone. Exactly what went on in these 20 meetings isn't specified. In a situation of "your word vs theirs" the case is unprovable, but that doesn't mean it's false. In the end, we just can't know for sure.

Not sure what point you're trying to make with this story, the media and United appear to be taking it seriously. If you were, by some chance, making a generalising remark about female pilots, as another commentor said: I think she is a bit unstable at the moment. There are lots of men who are equally unstable. There was that German pilot who flew a plane into a mountain!

/r/titlegore Why makes you so certain they were false? It might have happened- there isn't always evidence. We know little about what the situation was from this one article. I think the fact she killed herself is indicative of something at least.

Video wasn't as bad as I was expecting, he's easily able to have his voice heard. My perception of parliament has always been one of a place full shouting and rowdiness, although that might be skewed by PMQs. Regardless there were certainly a few moments when you could hear the heckles, what the argument against him was I have no idea.

I'm very confused at this point. Was the initial title supposed to be sarcastic? Referencing something?

Mostly just exaggerated venting. Probably. Hopefully.

They might have been laughing at his reaction there.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
