That's good advice but I don't think will solve my problem. I do lift now (albeit my lifts are in beginner territory). I'm 6'1 as well. But honestly even if I was big and shredded as fuck I don't think it would change how I view myself really.

sub is that there are way more virgins and amateurs than there are experienced men. I think this is a fundamental flaw with reddit and forums in general. I used to go to a sports forum but 90% of the people on the forum give bad advice and don't know any better. But the unskilled majority will dictate which replies are pushed to the top.

Yeah I know this too. I attracted women looking like I have so far, so I know I can do it. But mentally I'm just not the person I was. I am going to the gym though for my own reasons of health and sport though. I do enjoy it.

Very true. But I won't quit the gym. I used to play a lot of sport and loved it but injuries have stopped me recently. Going to the gym is helping me correct the injuries and eventually go back to the sports I enjoy. Gym is probably the best time of the week for me.

Thanks for taking the time to write all of that. I’ll save it and next time I feel low I’ll read it again. I agree with everything you said. Perhaps there is a big part of me that wants to change my body, get a promotion, and become a better communicator.
