There are so many assumptions in your statement that you can't even have a real conversation. I like how you come to the conclusion that the laws are much different now before even knowing how long ago this occurred. It shows you are already biased and assume too much. It shows even more down below. Why don't you open your mind a bit to take a look around. You might learn something.

The letter was trying to change peoples mindset so we can move forward. The fact that they had it better or worse is irrelevant. Instead we should focus on what rights they deserve to have an what rights we deserve to have. We had slaves in the past, women could not vote, and men were the only ones drafted. All in the past and bringing it up does not help our current cause. Just my opinion.

You did not get the point of the letter. You fell right into the hypocrisy trap. The letter was a warning to a new movement to learn for an older movement. Embrace each other to affect change. Don't look to the past events you had no control over to point fingers.

This is the feedback I want. Being disproportionate. I was directing the letter to feminism because of what they achieved. I am not nor ever said I was part of MRA. MRA should take note of the mindset change that needs to take place. The same mindset change feminism achieved in changing. MRA is not even close to achieving this change.
