Universal suffrage comes from christianity? No. It comes from pagan Greece and until half the 20th century most people could not vote.

No one is perfect. Focus on her flaws. Some physical imperfection, something she does that annoys you, something she said/thinks that goes against your beliefs, something she is objectively bad at (usually in the intellectual/spiritual department).

Yeah countryside vs cities, I get it. Well, as you said, let's stop the debate here : I am not an historian and it's not an history sub.

And before "hindus" existed? It's what I told you : your highest cast & Vedic religion come from the Persians invaders. The "original indians" are dravidians/tamils (dark indians of the south). So : either Persians are indians too or every indian that is not dark skinned and tamil is not indian. Following your logic : only native americans are americans, then? (It can be a valid opinion, but then you will have a lot of work to do to convince the white people you tried to rally, here...) Every "e…

Well I didn't understand it that way, but now it's clearer. Sure, feminists need a "secure" base from where to start : in a more masculine culture they wouldn't dare and wouldn't last long. But your argumentation is flawed : if feminists need hindus for their agenda, and muslims % is rising. Then it means feminists will disappear when muslims will be the majority. So it's simple : either you have more hindus & more feminists or you have muslims & no feminists. Simple. Again, I don't see why more…

I'm not gonna teach you about your own country, but considering: 1) few decades ago India, Pakistan and Bangladesh were the same country, 2) those Muslims are not coming from the moon but are in India since forever, as they just converted to that religion 3) Indians of the highest casts are descendants of Persians... I don't see the generalization or the parallel that can be made with whites in western countries and for example immigrants from say Somalia... I think there are politics subs for p…

Yeah, "everything in moderation", sure. Except : you seem to give to women some properties (let's talk in an abstract way) that can't be found anywhere else. I can live without money (it's doable) but not without water nor food nor oxygen. I can live without people (again : some people did it, willingly or not) so it's possible. But to me (and I repeat : I am just debating for the sake of logic), focusing on women is like focusing on redheads and saying "don't avoid redheads, for your internal b…

Since when following your instincts blindly became a good life advice? I'm playing the devil's advocate here but, on the contrary: since the beginning of human societies it was a sign of high virtue to go against most of your instincts. Moreover an instinct can be channeled toward another external object. So no it's not dangerous, except for teenagers with 0 hobbies in life, but i doubt they are the main audience here...

Not exactly a bad relationship but I would say : organizing and going for a long trip. The stress and preparation and continual cohabitation is a good and cheap way to see what you have to expect in case of commitment. I realized I din't want a dead weight to drag all my life.

You seem very rational about it, but didn't you had any of them agreeing with the "contract" and then trying to change it, more or less openly ? Because if there is one thing I wouldn't trust is an agreement like this, even if you have nothing much to loose if it goes wrong, I guess...

Interesting trivia. The perfect embodiment of "Peter Pan Syndrome" in modern times was Michael Jackson, even if he had a "I don't want to grow up" side to it. I am not quite sure it's a positive thing, though. Not because of the "responsibilities" thing but simply because it's too hedonistic for me. You can't "have fun all your life", "follow all your whims" and also grow and improve yourself. But of course it depends on everyone's personality... The only thing I keep from that is to keep a curi…

You seem to think arranged marriages are like some super-personalized matrimonial agency. It's not. Arranged marriages (when they work) are a way for two families to tie socio-economically and make the futur more secure for both of them. "Love" and "romanticism" are a modern western fairytale probably invented by bored bourgeois women...

Nice effort in the presentation. Yeah males and females are complementary : that's the purpose in sexual reproduction. And that is what made humans evolve to be at the top of the animal kingdom, so it's quite an efficient strategy. The problem is not that males & females have opposite goals and strategies : when everything goes find they meet "in the middle" and both are quite happy. The problem is now women can't even do their part. So it's a win/loss situation.

Yeah, even if it was simplistic and manichean, at least it was sincere and had a positive message. Notice how there are no more action movies superstars like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis and Van Damme. Now it's the collective. What happened is postmodernism. Everything is now a struggle and about structures. You have to be part of something and all you say and do has some hidden agenda that is made to further your group's domination...

25 minutes ago It's not as much a "happy button" as a "anticipation button". Like in a casino : dating gives you the thrill and excitement of the discovery/hunt then the "problems" it brings sooner or later keeps you busy with dopamine boosts. So in short it's a type of "socially-encouraged addiction". Far from being convinced. You EXPECT happiness, like when some people go to an antique shop to find some lamp. Why do they stay hours? Coz it's the thrill of discovering unexpected things. Like tre…

I agree with you overall, but just for the sake of debating... Do you really treat everybody the same? And you add that you acknowledge there are differences. So no, you can't. I think i am past such illusions : we have all our biases and experiences and that's fine. Exactly. Until "recently" (later in Asia for exemple and perhaps still in Africa, now) marriage was a social contract only. Romanticism and love etc came then when society became more individualistic and consummerist.

True. I don't see this point of view enough, here. I think that having more (true) self-esteem makes jumping through the hoops of modern western dating process harder. It puts men right away in the inferior position of a job seeker.

I know I took long to reply (I don't check my mailbox often). I appreciate you "worry" for my mindset but really : I am not thinking that only women can be manipulative. Far from it. As I told you , i am talking of "being objectified". And, in that respect, I just pointed out that some/most women enjoy/don't mind being objectified (when it suits them). Nice analysis. I agree with most of what u said, except : - even after the crash we won't have all the data & even if we had, we couldn't do anything with that. Society/the world is a chaotic system : there too many parameters & unknown variables to do anything with the data. - If you follow your taoist analogy, then the world is as it should be : an equilibrium or a pendulum between 2 positions. There is also the concept of lead vs lag measures. For long-term or complex goals, lag measures (number of kgs lost,...) are sometimes not very useful, whereas lead measures (number of calories eaten, number of steps walked, etc) can be used to make sure you are on the right track. I also personally like to think of time as expandable or compressible : by listening to a podcast at twice its speed and doing chores or training while listening to it, you virtually "expending" your time 400%.

Why would it be tragic? What would she have done that would have made the rest of her life less meaningless than the first part of it? I am being provocative, but if she committed suicide for that, it means 1) she had no solid family/friends ties 2) she gives too much importance to strangers/social media. Her being in a tv reality show says it all... Then it's almost a logic conclusion that what happened couldn't have been avoided. As the other comment states : it's Darwinism.

I was looking for such reply. I agree. People (perhaps understandingly) see a behavior & quickly attribute it to their "enemy" (the gov, an other race, country,...)'s intrinsic beliefs & not to the circumstances. I hear countless stories of parents being overwhelmed by having to deal with autistic kids. Some countries have special support that takes care of the kids to give the parents some "fresh air". So i didn't read the article and i don't know the exact circumstances in this case (not inter…

As you said:i notice a lot of extremely vocal feminists come from this background. It's like some revenge and an easy way to cash from your group's bad image, like black women with black men. So no, it's just the social environment that keeps them more in check, not some personal belief.

How can someone who is part of a corporation that thinks masculinity is toxic (see the psychologists association paper) and that is heavily dominated by women and/or simp-thinking be a valid choice to give you any advice? It's like asking dressing advices to a blind person... And remember you are giving someone else you don't know access to ways of manipulating you "in your best interests". He/she is just agreeing to make you more open to suggestions, that's the basics.

I don't know your life and it's easy to give advices especially online but, as you came asking, consider: the example you're giving to your son with this behavior. Do you think it will make him a real man? except if there is a good side of her you forgot to mention, nothing you said about her and her family can justify living like an eunuch.
