Still no arguments. It's funny how these people think. Imagine if the subject were changed to drugs. This would be what the discussion would look like. "Drugs are fine in moderation if you’re responsible, but going overboard can be dangerous," and they’d respond with, "Well, people die in car accidents too." Like… what?

You’re confusing types of risk. Driving involves physical risk tied to external factors traffic, weather, other drivers but the purpose is utility. Sex, especially promiscuity, involves psychological and relational risk. Emotional consequences, STIs, attachment issues, broken trust those aren’t side effects of driving to the store. Saying they carry the same amount of risk ignores what kind of risk we’re even talking about. That’s like saying eating spoiled food is as bad as sending a risky text…

Driving is a daily utility. People drive to work, school, hospitals it’s part of how society functions. Yes, accidents happen, and yes, people die. But no one drives because it’s risky. Risk is incidental. Sex, especially in the context of a high body count, is not a social necessity. It's recreational, emotional, or relational. I just find it funny how the whole conversation around "body count" plays out.
