| 1 | Wichita KS- any good divorce attorney’s someone could recommend? I know the odds aren’t good but worth a shot. This is why you need a lawyer, these are her wishes, not yours. What about your rights? You had communal property she took. Kids can be without video games. Beds and other furniture easy to come by. If she is working and you are currently not you can ask for alimony, judge will not take your kids away as long as you don't agree to her demands. Or give reasons for why kids should not be with you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/05/21 04:01 AM |
| 1 | Wichita KS- any good divorce attorney’s someone could recommend? I know the odds aren’t good but worth a shot. This is something you need to discuss with your lawyer, develop strategy. She might change her mind as soon as you get a job. This is why you need to fight for 50/50 custody, spend time with your kids and you do not owe her anything. She can not take kids away from you, you have same amount of rights as she does. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/05/21 02:33 AM |
| 2 | Wichita KS- any good divorce attorney’s someone could recommend? I know the odds aren’t good but worth a shot.Talk to the lawyer about it. It is shitty move on her side. Make sure you have documentation to show this. There is no saving money, but if it makes any consolation. Divorced men make 20% more on average post divorce. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/05/21 02:22 AM |

Had to use McDonald Tinker a year ago to deal with my ex, they were ok. But in any case lawyer up. Don't pay attention to stxw, set emotions aside, persue your interests, reach out to old friends, create your support circle, go to church or fishing with a buddy. Stay positive, everything works out in the end. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/05/21 12:32 AM |

| 4 | Need some guidanceGet a lawyer now. Protect your assets and kids. Don't trust a word she says. I have been in the same boat 3 years ago. Push emotions aside, there will be time for that. Rich out to your friends and family. Setup support network. Forget about any history you might of had with her; focus on yourself, and your kids. You will eventually come alright. Good luck! | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/11/18 03:42 PM |

Focus on your kids, yourself, work, hobbies. You gonna get over this. Maybe not 100%,but 99,9% for sure. There are brighter days ahead of you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/07/16 05:41 AM |
| 2 | Considering divorce in KSSorry to hear about your situation. I just went through the divorce myself after almost 15 years of marriage. Better do it now, before you find her with some dude or she serves you first. Couple advises I got from my friends, get a lawyer, file first, you will have more leverage that way. A good legal advice pays for itself multiple times in a long run. Try to get 50/50 shared custody. This way you both are in your child's life, and there is no fight over child support. Get a vehicle. You will h… | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/03/16 04:13 AM |
