or it could just be self control and personal morals :). im a woman and I just don't want to add a bunch of bodies and I like to build a relationship first since I think sex is a super intimate and personal thing. i wouldn't say every woman that doesn't want to sleep with you on the first date "isnt into you" because ive been into men on the first date, i just don't have sex with them because I don't even really know them

actually thats wrong. what you're looking for is a one night stand, not a relationship. As a woman (and i know a lot more like this) we usually keep those rules to prevent being used or we value sexual intimacy paired WITH emotional intimacy. you can't just give yourself away to anyone, you have to build trust and a relationship with that person first. I've been sexually attracted to men on the first date - its more about self control and my morals

yeah, and it’s easy for us to make decisions based on rationality while we’re not in that situation. I’m not a man so I can’t speak from a male perspective but from my own experience i’ve never met a man with a wife or girlfriend who has said they’d save themselves over their partner. i don’t know why, could be human instinct could be love but I think in situations where saving women and children isn’t forced it still happens. TLDR We can speak rationally here but in an emotionally charged momen…

Mothers are more important to babies because they literally feed them with their bodies and usually Mothers take care of babies more because they have paid maternity leave and fathers don’t have paid paternity leave. it’s an issue in itself but I just find it weird that you think fathers are more important than mothers. mind explaining?

uhhhh isn’t the whole point that we’re equal… why are you putting male parents above female ones? seems like you’re kind of shooting yourself in the foot. I agree with OP but you just took it and twisted it to “yes and fathers lives matter more than mothers” They both matter. if you can save all their lives try. I’m all about getting rid of toxic feminism and advocating for men’s struggles but this feels very twisted

I’m a woman. but my friend got accused I’m going to be honest I never realized just how bad it can be. He lost all his friends and when he saw her again, in public, he ran out into the parking lot and started sobbing on the curb. I just sat there with him patting his back for an hour and a half. it’s so unfair.

it’s because it’s sarcasm. it’s hard to indicate tone in text without speech. i’ve seen this a million times before is it evil theyre using his murder to push theyre own agenda and bring awareness to a topic? yes. are they actually defending a murderer because of her gender? no

hey i’m sorry but I think they’re being sarcastic and trying to parody how some terrible people will make comments like this when a man commits a violent crime against a woman that’s why people are saying “comment section did not disappoint” and “let me hear her side of the story” and “she’s got a bright future ahead” I do think the sarcasm is a bit insensitive. A man was brutally murdered and they choose to turn it into a chance to be political. heartless.

yes but can that “human” live outside of the womb at fertilization? can that “human” do anything on its own outside of the mother? I believe after about 6 months, when the baby can survive outside of the womb with medical intervention, that’s a human. Otherwise, that’s not a human. that’s a growing cluster of cells that could eventually become a human- but it is not a human yet. To deny the rights of an abortion is to say you’re prioritizing that unborn baby, which cannot survive outside of the …

at the end of the day the mother’s life matters more than the collection of cells. it’s her life, if she doesn’t want to deal with the tolls of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum that’s not anyone else’s business

soooo you’re right but also like. not really. i posted about this on another post in this sub on my experience with female medical neglect “they walk in and complain about everything” isn’t exactly true and I would encourage you to go read a bit on medical neglect it’s very similar to men’s mental health neglect. It’s hard for men to get mental health diagnoses like depression, eating disorders, etc. we all have struggles, just because you don’t experience them doesn’t mean they arnt real or can…

oh i completely agree! So often i notice men and women gender wars with very “yeah but YOU” and “but WE have to…” when i think it should be more about acknowledging each other’s problems (women: medical neglect/overmedication, underfunding in gynecology departments, sexual harassment etc) (men: mental health, work stress, lack of funding in dangerous jobs which majority men work, higher suicide rates) and working together to fix them rather than putting each other against one another, that will …

it could! there are a lot of bad doctors that don’t actually listen to patients. Unfortunately it seems to be a bit more common with women, My girl friends and I often joke about it when we say we have a doctors appointment coming up and someone will joke with “have you tried birth control” or “im sure you’re just stressed.” when I joke about it with my male friends, they didn’t seem to get the joke haha It takes a bit of pushing to get a diagnosis sometimes. Howdy, woman here :) I will say sometimes it’s very dramatized by crazy feminists but it does happen and it happened to me I have chronic low blood sugar, hypoglycemia. When i went to the doctor and told them i was so sweaty and tired and felt faint and had headaches and was often angry or frustrated they told me it was probably anxiety and just medicated me, which obviously didn’t do anything. continued to up my dosage. it wasn’t until i got a new doctor that they actually RAN TESTS and said “a…

it’s absolutely horrible when things like this happen, and i agree. This is just severe emotional and mental problems, not toxic feminism

rewatched the videos, my first comment was inaccurate. The parents either didn’t tell the daycare staff she had emotional problems, either way the daycare staff should have been watching. absolutely horrible The mental institutions wouldn’t take her because she was “too young to be admitted.” but is old enough to be charged for murder…? this girl is sick in the head and needs help. serious help. My heart goes out to the mother of that beautiful baby boy. absolutely terrible what happened.

my guess is her mother was in denial, no parent wants to send their 10 year old child to a mental institution- even if there are signs of sociopathic or psychopathic tendencies. It truly is a sad scenario. my heart goes out to the mother and baby boy, i hope they both find peace and I hope the girl gets help :(

hey, i’m sorry. I still don’t understand what you’re saying about women’s image on children, money, and bodies. Can you please clarify that? I want to hear your perspective AND YES OMG I AGREE!!! I’m a firm believer the government is gatekeeping cures to illnesses that would be life changing, that or overpricing them. Thank you for continuing to be respectful. Hey, not attacking you. you’re entitled to your opinions. I just wanted to tell you that there are still a lot of women who want kids in the future, it’s just less because there arnt pressures to have kids anymore. A lot of women are afraid of the pain, complications, and how their life will change. some arnt willing to give up careers, and with the current economy some can’t afford it Stem cell research isn’t focused on cloning it’s trying to grow organs and skin so more people can get transpla…

we’ve been going back and forth multiple times so i’m going to just say this then get the hell out of this wasteland i’m not projecting. unlike you I actually try to see other peoples perspectives. See that? it’s actually something people do when they care about other peoples opinions and viewpoints even if they don’t match their own. very interesting I’ve never said that once in my life so we call that a stereotype little buddy and they can be pretty damn harmful! if that’s a stereotype about W…

i literally said nothing about male sexlessness because i’ve never experienced it. I said it’s not cool to compare PMS to sexlessness because those are too wildly different things. PMS is not the biological equivalent to anything because it’s its own damn thing. I’m not claiming to know anything about being sex deprived. you’re claiming to know stuff about PMS to such a level you can compare it. If we’re playing that game, maybe you wouldn’t be so sex deprived of you actually treated women like …

you are not pregnant you will never be pregnant and I find it weird how you think you can weigh in on that. Pregnancy and childbirth is putting yourself at risk. One in every thousand is still A lot. look it up instead of assuming anything a woman goes through is light work Go educate yourself before you talk on behalf of women. I would never speak about male health stuff and weigh my opinion on how easy it is.

So unless it completely fits your narrative and was written by a man it’s just completely fake and propaganda. got it, that totally doesn’t sound like a narrow minded view on life. I went to a charity for child abuse and found some clarity on these statistics. but of course that’s feminist propaganda. where was the ‘not all women’ statement. you pulled that out of your ass also the “spread your legs” comment was absolutely uncalled for. Dont ever sexualize me or any other woman in that way it’s …

that’s literally just not true. Pregnancies can come with many kinds of complications and it takes a tremendous physical toll on the body. My mother got very very sick at one point and my aunt had a miscarriage due to stress and paranoia associated with hormones. don’t speak on something you’re not educated about.

how dare you. genuinely how dare you. I’ve treated you with nothing but patience and kindness and you pull shit like that. I told my parents who told me I lead him on and I told the school who said his record doesn’t show any of that therefore he couldn’t have done it. i’m sick and tired of men like you being skeptical and sticking up for your “fellow bro” while leaving girls like me behind to find support from the god-awful feminists you hate so much. sad reality is he has to protect his right. My friend’s mother is a drug addict who abused while pregnant with him. his dad fought for him and even got a judge fired for a bias toward the mother. Strong man and he loves his son. If you’re talking on matter of abortion and if the dad wants the kid but the mom doesn’t, I’d side with the mom. Pregnancy is incredibly risky and scary and can be downright awful. If that baby isn’t growing in his body, his input matters half as much

to find the sources on Statistic source it asked me to make an account. scroll down find where it says “sources” and it’ll ask you to sign in or create an account I just agreed that i realized the majority of abuse cases have women as the main perpetrators due to the high amount of neglect cases. and i’d like to remind you not every single man in the country was locked up during that time. Men are more likely to be physical or sexual abusers, women are more likely to be neglectful. thats the TLD…

Once again, those are not real feminists. A feminist wants equality and justice and for women to be held accountable just like men. Those are truly vile people who only want to better themselves. I have PMS which i am on birth control and antipsychotics for. PMS is way more complicated than that and It’s not right to dumb it down like that, especially since you’ve never experienced it. Comparing an incredibly misunderstood and complicated illness with sexlessness isn’t cool dude

i’m so sorry you went through that. I hope if you haven’t found peace yet you will I’m not entirely sure where you got the information on lesbian parents or dental care but if you send them over i’ll fact check them with Media Bias and Mybib Bad Feminists want dominance. I’m a feminist who simply wants to go to the doctor and be heard and stop being objectified and pushed out of male dominated spaces. No offense but I don’t think you really understand what PMS is because those are two wildly different things I think the way SomeWomaninCanada phrased the response was a little insensitive but at the core she was kinda getting it. It’s not feminists that protect female child predators but brainwashed people and subconscious belief that women deserve more mercy for those things as well as Pretty Privilege

78% of abuse is neglect and women are most likely to neglect, which is why they have the highest % of cases. Men are more likely to physically abuse or sexually abuse. There is some truth to your statement, Women are more likely to sexually assault children than adults, which is why you hear more of “woman and student” rather than “woman rapes man” Feminism isn’t really about being superior it’s about being treated equally in every department, it’s just shitty feminists that think they’re better…

Read it! it wanted me to make an account to view the sources but I didn’t want to do that, if you have an account I’d love to see the sources. I did some independent research using unbiased sources as well (minimal bias to slight right/left wing bias using Media Checker and Credibility checks using mybib). and found out that the statistic source is a bit uncategorized and lumps a lot together, but at the core it’s not completely wrong Neglect is most common from of child abuse and is usually per…

Hi, sorry for the misunderstanding! Over time, puberty does affect the brain but the outcomes of this don’t actually show as quickly as you think, it’s more of a slow boil. Boys are expected to mature more emotionally when they are not needed to and that’s very sad. However girls, when it comes to overall behavior, are expected to start shaping up and acting more like ladies. We’re both expected to mature on different things sooner than we need to, but the reason girls behavior tends to be less …

hey, this is really interesting. Do you have another source other than one from 2008? maybe a more recent study. Sociology and Psychology studies and violence reports like this tend to change over time. Not saying you’re wrong, just wanting some more up to date information. i’m interested in learning. I agree with you, men face a lot of pressure when young to man up and not cry. my family is very adamant on gender roles, and i’ve seen the effect it has on my brother and the effect it had on me. I try to be there for my brother so he will have someone to cry to without feeling ashamed. if you’ve ever felt that way i’m sorry I’m not invalidating your experience as a man by saying women mature mentally faster than men, we mature mentally faster because we are not allowed to be children as long a…

The stay at home mom lifestyle has always seemed beautiful to me. I love babies and I love to cook As long as my husband comes home and helps me instead of slouching on the couch and watching the game while I continue to take care of the kids, It seems lovely. My only concern is having financial independence- I’m terrified of being trapped in a bad relationship where I can’t get out because I have no money

howdy, woman here. i’ve been hanging out here giving a bit of the opposite prospective and clarity on some stuff. this one is a bit of a yap fest- sorry! “Let's also remember that supposedly women "mature" faster mentally, socially and emotionally, but since our brains age faster, they should also reach maturity faster, right?” It’s theorized that No gender in particular actually matures faster in the other, but rather the expectations young girls have to act “mature” is given sooner than it is …

I’m not a victim of a lot of things that men are, and you’re not a victim of a lot of things women are. i’m simply stating that it’s usually not because of strict dress codes that cause limitation, but more a lack of options in men’s fashion- the less there is to wear, the bigger the limitations seem. But i am completely open to a friendly debate if you’d like to prove me wrong

i don’t exactly make the rules on what is still considered respectful and what is not. i’m just giving the context to why it’s a common practice to not wear hats indoors. I don’t see why you’re getting very defensive, i’m explaining the difference between something that can get lost and stolen, blocks the view of students if in a school, and has old history of being a sign of a respect. I don’t wear hats when I go to the synagogue- do you?

hey! woman here again, trying to clear things up and give my perspective. The issue isn’t men’s dress code, it’s more the limited options men have when it comes to dress. Often, if you open any work or school hand book you will find a lot more restrictions on women’s dress code than men’s for example, at my school: men’s: shorts or pants must be at most 6 inches above the knee must wear belt short hair Women’s: skirt or dress must be at most 3 inches above the knee straps must be 4 fingers in wi…

howdy, woman here feels like i’m in enemy territory but i’ll explain the difference, at least at my school. Hats being off in buildings is a traditional sign of respect- similar to going to church or taking off your hat in a restaurant. furthermore, hats can sometimes block peoples view if they’re too big, which would mean there would have to be rules on the size of hats which is just a hassle. Hats can also get lost easily Makeup is on the face and doesn’t get lost, doesn’t cause an issue in bl…
