This is so unprofessional of him. The gall. The gumption of him. He should feel awkward not you, he's the one that put this on you. Don't feel you have to tiptoe around him. Confront him next session you have and say you didn't feel that was very appropriate of him to do so, set those boundaries girl!

This reminds me of growing up with brothers. Of we argued they'd start calling me names dealing with weight (I was a child and average weight) I couldn't understand why they didn't do the same with each other, just me. So it starts young. All I know is I'll never have my daughter be made feel the way I was.

Catch up on my French lessons, revist my Spanish lessons as I've neglected them, log off social media to make time to read the (many) books I've bought

As Harry Burns said in When Harry Met Sally said: "Men and women can't be friends because the sex part always gets in the way." No woman (a HVW anyway) needs a straight Male friend.

I should also mention that it was my Birthday when I was left stranded, so you can clearly see where her loyalties stood ie, me her friend and a scrote.

100% they always side with the man because they seek him for self worth and validation. The older I get the more I just solely listen to my own intuition because I have my own back

So true, think of how a pickme friend will give you their advise which comes from their mindset. How they wont see your point of view as a hvw. I've certainly had friends try to make me second guess my gut feeling, give me terrible advice and leave me stranded in a bar to go sleep with a scrote only to beg for forgiveness and promises that they'd take my advice next time. Who you choose to be in your circle should uplift you, support you and be someone you can relay on for advice if needed. It d…
