I am here only because I saw some posts not understanding why it's important for men to comfort women on a first date, instead of vice versa. BOTH should be comfortable, but usually a man is not concerned with knowing he can show his emotions. I would agree but more women get raped or sexually assaulted than men get accused of rape. MOST of the time, if the man isn't doing anything weird or wrong then he isn't accused of rape, so I don't get why that would be an issue. Meanwhile a third of women worldwide are sexually assaulted or raped at least once in their lifetime, and that can severely alter how willing they are to pursue relationships.
